Awesome experience. I can't tell u how well this group works together. They are allll about you having fun. The equipment will keep you very warm. The snowmobiles are for beginners, intermediate (chance takers) & pros. You won't be disappointed. They offer shuttle service to park city!

100% recommended this place for snowmobiling when in the area! Their staff is so nice, fun, and flexible. They're super laid back and make sure you have the best time when riding with them. The brothers, girl with beautiful lashes (forgot her name ) and owner were so cool. If you stay with black rock mountain resort you can get free transportation there and back. They also have one of the best deals in town!

Amazing outfit with such a super friendly and competent group of guides! Awesome machines to handle some incredible terrain. We had a group of 12 including both experienced and novice adults plus young children and they catered to each of us, plus bringing enough guides along to keep the whole group moving and having fun!! Great day, would definitely recommend it for everyone!

    Beautiful views on the tour

I can't speak highly enough about our snowmobile tour with Woodland. EVERYONE working there was just fantastic and friendly as heck. We went with kids with multiple kids on a snowmobile and had some of the faster one seaters. As first timers we felt completely safe, knew the kids were in good hands and got to tear it up in the back country. Instructions were clear and patient. This should be your one stop shop.

On top of the world with the best snowmobile guide out there. Thank you Warren, from your Louisiana friends!!

Five Stars?? Why YES, OF COURSE!! There's a very simple set of reasons why you are seeing so many glowing reviews for Woodland Snowmobile Adventures ... 1) they're exactly as advertised, 2) they're easy to find 3) they have gear ... lots and lots of gear if you need it 4) they are FRIENDLY 5) their staff are willing to help and make it very clear from the beginning they want you to HAVE FUN 6) their machines are wonderful 7) their guides are some of the best out there. Oh, I could go on and on and may just say a few more words -- our guide, Warren, took us out on an adventure we won't soon forget. He was knowledgeable, patient, was dedicated to our safety all the while showing us some of the most spectacular views in this part of the world. Warren quickly assessed our abilities and adjusted his plan accordingly. As a result, my friends and I had a truly memorable experience. Can you smile throughout your 2-3 hour adventure -- yes you can and I'm proof of that!! We will definitely be back and we can't wait. I highly recommend you give Woodland Snowmobile Adventures a try. They are leagues above the rest!!

    Great snowmobile adventure.

This was one of the highlights of our trip. The owner was very accommodating, he came to our hotel and picked us up, he was super friendly and accommodating. The two guides we had were also great and their only concern was that we were having fun and being well taken care of. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

    Amazing!!!

I had never rode a snowmobile before and this was a perfect experience. They provide excellent guides for whatever level you would like to ride. We chose the easy going old person moonlight ride and it was awesome! They provide all the equipment you need and training to enjoy the ride. Even halfway through they had a warming hut set up with a fire to cook hot dogs, s'mores and hot chocolate. I highly recommend this experience if you are in the area!

Perfectly situated off of the Mirror Lake Highway, and perched near the tranquil waters of…read moreButterfly Lake, this campground is probably my favorite designated camping area along this great stretch of scenic road. Winning that distinction is no small feat, as there are so many spots to stay along Utah's most prominent scenic byway, but it's just got so much going for it. First, it's at about 10,300ft in elevation, which means that in the blazing heat of summer, you may just kiss the '70s, spend most of the day in the '60s, and have those incredible nights in the tent in the '40s where you thank your lucky stars that you have someone who will go up the Mirror Lake Highway with you and hike by day, and snuggle up in a sleeping-bag-for-two by night. I've not actually had that last experience, but it's on my list. At any rate, the elevation is just what you need in summer, and is not to be messed with in cooler temps. The Highway actually closes during winter, so this campground typically doesn't open until around Memorial Day each spring. The namesake lake is delightful, and planted with willing trout. There are no monster fish lurking in the deep, but the kids will get a kick out of drowning a worm beneath a bobber. I also like that the lake is far enough away from the campsites that you're not constantly worrying about little ones wandering off to play in the water. The further up the road in the campground, the more true this is. If you're looking to launch off for adventure, there are hikes on hikes on hikes. My favorite ever lackadaisical hike I've ever had was on the MLH, but you can find your own. The western terminus of the Highline Trail is just a few hundred feet away down the road, so check that out for a starting point, or grab one of the other many trailheads at your disposal-Ruth Lake, Mirror Lake, Fehr Lake-those are all bodies of waters and names of nearby trailheads. I typically stay in dispersed campsites, but having a few resources, restrooms, parking, and a picnic table is nice sometimes too. I dream of staying here in the height of summer, of making overly-complicated camp meals, of wandering the creeks, of homemade marshmallow s'mores, hand-churned ice cream, and that warm sleeping bag at night.

Of the 4 mountains I hit in the Hakuba Valley, the longest trail at best went on for 7-10 minutes depending if you're cruising or bombing from the top to bottom. Park City Mountain side of this resort from the highest blue trail down to the bottom, I feel, could clock a good 15 minutes bombing it, or 20+ just cruising down. Is it harder on my legs to do longer trails? Most likely. Do I spend less time on lifts? I didn't care to calculate the difference lol. I thing I know is that I love the feeling of gliding endlessly over the soft snow, and Park City Mountain gives me that feeling without having to stop for a lift every 3 or 4 minutes. Deducting a star because food at American resorts is absolute TRASH vs what was available at the Japanese ski resorts... #380
