To sum it up - SKIP THIS COMPANY! We scheduled the second move back in November 2022 after they moved our things into storage and we were stood-up at the very last minute with NO notice. We were actually waiting at the storage unit at 1pm for this company and called numerous times before finally getting a call that said they would NOT be able to make it. The owner told us around 2pm that the movers had been sent to another job out of town and they would NOT be back until late so our job could not be done and would have to be rescheduled for another day. We were on a time resistant and needed to have things done due to Thanksgiving that same week. I started calling down the list of movers on google and only found one company, out of over 20 called, that was able to come out the same day to help us with the move. Obviously, we had to pay extra for any type of same day service and they were down one man due to the holiday week so it took longer. While I was calling movers in a frantic, some asked my situation and I told them we were stood-up and they asked further questions. Three of the companies knew which company had stood us up and said they had past experience with the same situation from people being stood-up by Soldier Strong Moving. The company that came out to help us was one of them that said they had this experience before but were willing to help us. I would recommend Joe's Packing and moving service or any other moving company if you need it. THAT WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING - The owner called us and wanted to know how we could take care of this without me doing another review because it would impact his business. Vince offered to pay for our move or part of it, which never happened. It was promise after promise he was going to call (NO CALL) and he was going to stop by (NO DROP IN) meanwhile postponing this review. The owner Vince of this company is NOT a man of his word! The one person that helps (Dawn) on the phone is hard to reach and not helpful. We received one excuse after another and tried to give him the benefit of the doubt with the holidays and his personal issues he was having. We were constantly asked about doing a review in the beginning with the first move. We were told the reviews on google were the main way they got their business. This owner made us promise after promise so that we would NOT do a negative review. This may be negative BUT IT IS THE absolute TRUTH of our situation and the events that happened. The owner does review puffing by only wanting the good reviews and the negative ones he tries to get the customer to not publish! Vince was using a strong-armed approach with his emotional issues, company issues, and personal issues or reasons. We are a veteran family of 20-years Navy and both disabled, which did not impact his actions to stand us up and NOT offer any help that day we needed it the most. We went with this company based the name and being a Veteran owned company because we wanted to support that although I would not recommend this company. You have a huge chance of being stood-up! The owner is NOT a man of his word, which includes scheduling! We scheduled our move with Vince and were stood-up. He will make promises and NOT keep them although ONLY want a good review so the truthful ones are NOT shown. If I could give ZERO stars I would have to save others from being in this same situation. read more

I posted this review 12 days ago and for some reason it disappeared, hope it doesn't happen again. We're happy to say we had a great moving experience with Soldier Strong Moving, LLC, out of Lubbock, TX. After realizing that using a moving "broker" would likely put us in jeopardy of having an unreliable situation I found Soldier Strong online and left a message at 10:00 pm. The next day Vince, the company owner, called personally and arranged to come out and spec our items to be moved from Hobbs, NM, to the Houston, TX, area. Within a few days we had a moving date. We stayed in touch via phone, email and text. Four men showed up on moving day and blitzed our numerous boxes onto the trucks. Every piece of furniture was double or triple wrapped with bubble wrap, stretch plastic and/or a blanket depending on how fragile. If there was previous damage to a piece it was mentioned and/or photographed. Unloading was point and shoot after giving the guys a walk through of our new home. They were very efficient, personable and courteous. There were no hidden costs or surprises, just a firm quote based on Vince's initial visit. Everything that was said was followed through on and a written quote came via email. We'd definitely use Soldier Strong again. All moving companies should provide this level of service. read more

We had the opportunity to use Soldier Strong recently. They were prompt, they were professional and personable, they were Christians and to us that was all a big deal to us. They were very delicate with the household items and took great care and concern for my mother in laws stuff. They were reasonably priced and they were well prepared for the task at hand too. We loved dealing with Vince and crew. Now, having said all that, the real thing is they went far and beyond what they had to do, extra effort and doing things they did not need to do like help find movers in area I could not get anyone and on short notice get them at the same rate I had them. They talked, they prayed with us, they encouraged us and they checked on the progress of our move and unload. We needed alittle extra time from them and they moved things around to be able to do it. We were short some straps but they had straps that we could get from them. We needed more moving blankets and helped us find them from U-Haul on college graduation weekend; and there was a shortage in the area. Not only did we have a stress free, hassle free move I think we gained some friends too. Their mission focused on helping Veterans and their gratitude for the vets is great. These guys are truly awesome! VERY understanding & accommodating. Requested a quote; & very quickly got back to me. As moving day was hours away, plans started changing on my end as we ran into complications. We discovered we were going to have to make 2 trips in the moving truck (they were just unloading the truck we rented & putting everything into our storage). I contacted Vince & explained the situation. We changed things up with complete understanding. Then, a short time later, plans changed again. When I talked to Vince about the plans changing again, he never once sounded frustrated, angry, bothered, or annoyed. He said, "It doesn't matter. These things happen! We'll get it worked out, no matter what time it is." When it was finally time to unload, he had extra guys come help so the work would go faster than quoted, & to alleviate some stress; my stress, not there's. Even though I knew all the changes & late night for them added more stress & work for them, he NEVER made me feel anything but taken care of. They will be finishing our moving project in August, & I can't wait to work with them again because I know no matter what ends up happening, everything will be taken care of & with positive attitudes. We were moving back to Lubbock from DFW due to work. As life usually does, the plan went sideways due to a flood at our rental in Lubbock. We were in touch with Vince fairly regularly to update on our complications with the location not being ready and whether or not services were actually needed. We had finally decided to go it alone and move into a storage unit for a month while our rental home was renovated. About two hours into the unload I injured my arm (still not right a week later) and we hurriedly called Vince after 5 pm. He responded promptly, found a couple guys to meet him at our location and make quick work of the large furniture items we had left in the truck. The crew was careful and thoughtful about how to handle the items. They utilized the space we had to ensure everything fit without complication. We will be contacting Vince in a month to move from the storage unit to our rental property. Wow, these guys are good! I called them late one evening as my boyfriend and I were just finishing up our lease agreement on our new apartment and Vincent answered immediately. Which we were surprised because it was already almost 9pm. He was very polite and willing to answer any and all of my questions. Anyway, the next day his crew showed up fully uniformed and very clean cut guys. They were professional and I was surprised but they actually brought extra shirts (it was hot outside) to change into if the shirts they were wearing got too sweaty. They said they wouldn't want anything including sweat to get on any of our belongings. I feel like they just really cared and wanted to do the best possible job and they really did in our opinion. They were strong guys and had a very strong work ethic. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving team that carries themselves with professionalism, honesty, and care. Vince and his team are incredible! As a woman preparing for a cross country move with limited resources, I was nervous about selecting the right company to help me with my moving needs. It was my first time making a long-distance move. We obtained 5 quotes from different companies. We chose Vince at Soldier strong moving to handle our long distance move. He was very detailed all the way through the process. Right from walking our home to establish a quote, discussing the tricky timing of our move and additional off site storage we needed to relocate too Vince was on top of it. His crew were efficient, polite and careful loading our belongings. They arrived at the time they said they would arrive. Vince even kept communicating about what to expect from his team even when he was not physically on site during parts of the job. Update: Vince was so apologetic for circumstances that were out of his control that affected my move. I scheduled my move and offered to do Thursday or Friday due to it being a holiday weekend but I was scheduled for Saturday. They were a no show, no call. The communication from Vince was outstanding. It's refreshing to work with a guy who truly cares about his customers. Kenny and Joseph worked their tails off. We rolled in from Nebraska, they showed up early, and unloaded a 26ft U-Haul and a 6x12 trailer (both packed to the gills) in 3 hours. They were incredibly respectful and professional. (Almost to the point it made me uncomfortable: I've never been called "Sir" so many times!) If I ever move again, Vince and Soldier Strong Moving will be the first guys I call. The team at Soldier Strong Moving did a tremendous job helping our family unload when we moved from Atlanta to Lubbock. The previous movers left our items in a less than desirable state so to say that I was stressed is an understatement. This moving company is amazing! We wish they could have packed up our U-haul on the move to Lubbock too! Kenneth and Jared were unbelievably helpful, polite, and flexible moving everything into our home. They asked questions about where to put things and actually read what we wrote on the boxes (fragile, "this side up", etc.). Wonderful family owned company. The men are so polite. They say ma'am and sir. They are quick but gentle with people's property. They are so nice and efficient. They work at a productive pace. I would recommend them to anyone that needs loaders or unloaders to call them. They give discounts to veterans or active military. Vince and his team are excellent at their job! We used them to move my son from a second story apartment to another second story apartment. They protected all of his belongings and were efficient in getting everything moved without one item being broken.
