Super knowledgeable and friendly, even recommended some local restaurants to us--but when he heard what I was looking for, he told me that the correct helmet for me wasn't something they sold. Gave me directions to other shops, and suggestions on what to look for there. A salesman who will tell you when their products aren't the best ones for you is a salesman I really trust--absolutely huge shoutout. I didn't buy anything here, but learned exactly what I needed to. I also did some price comparison here versus online shopping--it's definitely a bit pricier, but not outrageously more pricy. It's in the solidly competitive region, with the bonus of getting to try it on for fit immediately, and walk out with the helmet you want.

Jake at Cycle Gear helped us pick out boots, chest protectors, knee and elbow protection, gloves, helmets and goggles. We got to the store late and I had no idea that we were still shopping 25 minutes after the store was closed. Jake never rushed us, he answered all our questions and made multiple trips to the back room to check for different sizes. When it was all done I spent a lot but HUNDREDS less than I thought I was going to. Huge selection, great prices and Jake was great. If my boys stay with this hobby I will definitely be going back to buy more equipment.

I'm not as happy with the service department. My first few services were uneventful, but the last one was disappointing. I spent almost $1,000 for the 12k service, rear brake pads, state inspection, and mounting of two tires that I brought in with me. 34 miles into my first ride after service I saw a pool of oil on the asphalt when I stopped, and oil splattered all over the right side of the bike and my right pants leg and boot. Brought it back (1.5 hours each way and $50 gas and tolls round trip). Service manager tried to get me to believe that they were suddenly having an issue with *faulty* head gaskets. I knew he was trying to keep the heat off his shop, so I then spoke directly with the mechanic who worked on my bike and he acknowledged that the real problem was improper installation of two o-rings, which is where all the oil leaked from. I understand that any one of us can make a mistake, but I was disappointed that the service manager did not offer some remuneration of the nearly $1,000 that I paid, especially since I had to make an extra (expensive) trip to have them fix their own error. Heck, I didn't even get an apology or an offer of a free oil change. Fortunately for me, a dealer much closer to me has started selling Piaggio products, so I no longer have to make the long drive to this dealership who cannot be counted on.

Every person who I dealt with (Mark, other Mark, Jeremy, Cyndi, and Tracy) were genuinely friendly and helpful. My bike was ready when I took delivery, and I was walked through all of the functions of my new bike. I left countless messages and still couldn't connect... long story short he tried making me pay for another motor about $2000 to get my bike back after paying a few thousand for two bikes two get fixed the same week... mine breaks the first ride after he fixed it ... I'm pretty sure they drained the oil and never put any in there and I didn't check i got home which could be my fault but at the same time you would think a shop would take accountability especially when you just spend more than $3000 at the shop less than a week ago and my bike doesn't work after leaving your shop.. but when I tell you that was by far the worst shop experience ever it was.. and I was just checking in 2025 if the shop still works like that because you can see previous reviews where's he's done the same thing to people and it's honestly crazy. that bike still sits till this day cause or this shop.. I don't want to go more in a hole so yea just checking if the shop still operates unprofessional or have they gotten their stuff together. Pretty nice guys though but it seems like they bite off way more then they can chew at a time and I think that might be the reason stuff gets messed up...

When money was not so tight I stopped off to buy a new helmet from a very good looking one marked on sale. They were very good about it and made sure I under stood it but as I was signing the recipe said that once the helmet left the shop it could not be returned. Which seemed a little odd. Anyway I was thrilled with the helmet's performance and was very happy until I noticed the price for the very same item elsewhere. Even on sale at this place it was still some $40-$50 more here than elsewhere. That knowledge really soured the deal and made me feel more than a little cheated. My wife and I have been riding for 30+ years. We have always chosen helmets because we liked the design or that they matched my bike.(or they were cheap , Mennonite , what can I say ) Fitting consisted of picking one out that's slid easily on to our heads I have had several Arai helmets previously ,but contrary to the advice of Rob Miller at The Service Pavilion I always choose them for looks first and then tried to make them fit by changing pads, and spooning foam,etc. Spring of 2017 I finally gave in and agreed to begin helmets selection with fitting. My wife was fairly easy and wound up with a size smaller than what we would've normally purchased for her but very comfortable and not loose. I was a bit more difficult , and had some discomfort in the four head after the first fitting The discomfort was slight and would only manifest itself after riding for half an hour or more. I'm bald so it's easy to identify pressure points after taking helmet off from an extended wear Rob was patient and actually more determined than I was that we would get the perfect fit. After a couple attempts trying different pads etc. to fit my not quite oval not quite round not quite small not quite medium head we finally reached the perfect fit. I have never had a helmet that I could wear all day and not be pushing up with my shoulders,or adjusting somehow to relieve a pressure.point . I can truly ride all day without thinking about my helmet. It's an amazing experience. I had a very bad experience with their service department. I made an appointment more than one…read moremonth in advance to get my 2009 T-100 running as it had been parked inside my house as a display. They quickly determined that my bike needed either a new fuel pump or fuel injectors and they would figure out which it needed (or both) and get it running. Then.....crickets. My bike was in their shop for 2 months because they "couldn't get to it". Every time I called, I was told "we'll get to it this week". No excuse or reason for not repairing my bike, just ignoring it. Finally I had enough and said I would come pick up my bike. I made a very straightforward and non-hostile comment on one of their FaceBook posts explaining my issue as they seem to monitor and comment on their posts. My hope was to get contacted to see how this situation could be rectified. Instead, my comment was removed and I was blocked on FB. No one reached out and no attempt was made to figure out what the issue was. Mind you, I have purchased 5 motorcycles from QuakerCity and have all my service done there. I'm a good customer and expect to be treated better than this. Their service department seems to be a mass of confusion and disorganization. Think twice before bringing your bike here for service. I'll just spend my money at Cross Country Cycles instead.
