I have skied all over the east and west and Solitude might not be the biggest resorts out there but has some damm good skiing! lots and lots of great terrain very unique! never crowded and I always have a wonderful time skiing here! And I love the name! read more

I came here for a day thanks to my Ikon pass, and it was a pretty great resort. There are a lot of blue trails which was great, and higher up the mountain has black. The day I came wasn't too great snow-wise, so there was a lot of ice especially towards the end of the day. I came on a weekday and there weren't very many people, and I barely had to wait in line for the lifts. The slopes were fun and the runs were wide, and my friend and I both had a good time here. The resort is smaller and doesn't require much traversing from one chair lift to another, and best of all there weren't very many flat parts so I didn't get stuck on my snowboard (what a rarity!). Parking isn't free, but there's a free bus from a park and ride just at the mouth of the canyon. read more

Don't get an ikon pass and expect to come here for free. $20 a day parking. Gouging people like that is really tough. I'm on a road trip and wanted to get a few days in at each resort. It's very disappointing and disheartening, especially since I save every penny, even sleep in my car the whole time in Utah, to be able to afford a long trip from Los Angeles. I would offer more affordable parking to ikon people or just stay off ikon if it's inconvenient for the resort. Suggestions, $10 day pass, $20 for a 1wk of m-f, lower season pass option for weekday parking. Keep your weekend policies premium if you have to. This is really heartbreaking and definitely alters my plans. Brighton and Snowbird are better options if that's possible read more

This is a decent resort however, the ski/snowboard school is poorly organized/structured. I have purchased an IKON pass because we have family near other resorts and it is accommodating for this circumstance. Solitude has a lesson schedule with one of the lessons on a blackout date which REQUIRES to you either buy an additional pass for that one day OR spend an additional couple hundred dollars to "upgrade" your pass. They are NOT WILLING to either move the lesson to another date or give just the students a pass for the one day. You would think that with the amount of money you are already spending, they would be willing to work something out, but no, they want to squeeze every dollar they can out of you! Great Ski resort, came here to kick off the new year and was rewarded with some fresh powder. It has snowed 10" the night before and there was some fresh powder here and there. Its not a huge mountain, but there is enough Black, Blue and Green runs for every level of experience to enjoy. I like that the gates to the lifts are activated by an RFID chip in your pass so you just pull up to the gate and it lets you into the lift, instead of a person manually scanning a barcode on your ticket, it makes the lines move much quicker. I especially like the runs off the Eagle Express lift. They are not too steep, but just steep enough for me to get enough speed without feeling like I'm going to die if i eat it. Also there are many different ways down back to the lift, so the powder doesn't get totally trashed. We were fortunate enough to catch it right after a snowstorm had come thru Cottonwood canyon. It was one of my friends first time in powder and he loved it! Fresh pow makes any snowboard trip great! read more

when i was planning this SLC ski trip with my relatives, my thought were that i was going to have an amazing time in Snowbird and just okay at Solitude. but it was the other way around. i did not enjoy snowbird that much but i had the best ski experience in Solitude. came here on a Saturday during the president's day weekend. it was packed but not too bad. parking was $5 if you carpooled with at least 3 people. the rental line was pretty bad. a few relatives of mine waited for almost 1 hour to get everything done. we are socal residents, so we are spoiled with groomed runs. solitude offers the perfect balance of fresh powder and groomed runs. it was a lot more enjoyable for our group. i am an ikon pass holder, so i tracked my entire day in Solitude, it gave me 14 lifts and 32 trails total. 17.5 miles overall distance. it was amazing. weather was great. snowing pretty hard but barely any wind. vision was pretty damn good too unlike snowbird the day before. trails are wide open. the most memorable trails were corner chute (toughest that we did) and dynamite (blue run from summit to apex) but overall i enjoyed runs around powderhorn lift the most. they have variety of blue and black trails that are fun to ride through. would i come back? this is a no brainer. i definitely would. read more

I have nothing but positive things to say about Solitude Mountain Resort and its staff. There was minimal stress when it came to planning with this venue. My event coordinator, Kate, was active during the entire planning process that lasted about a year. She thought of things being an issue before it even came to my mind and had a plan for it as well. I personally didn't get to eat much, but multiple guests were raving about the food at the reception. One guest said, 'The salmon was cooked to perfection.' They are just so flexible, easy to work with and want to make your wedding stress free and memorable. They really did make our wedding a day to remember positively. read more

This mountain was a pleasant relief from the crowds and relative ease of Park City Mountain. I'm an avid and serious skier--I try to get better every time down the mountain, I love the most challenging terrain a mountain has to offer, and I don't like concierges offering me warm boots and to take my skis off at the end of the day. I dislike lift lines most of all. I've come to Solitude 3-5 times in my life and it has always been a great experience. I brought my girlfriend with me this time because of the bounty of both intermediate, groomed terrain (for both of us to enjoy) and the steeps and more wild terrain (for me). It worked out just as I planned! The day before, at Park City, we got on the mountain at 1030 and skied two runs by 1215 due to lift lines. At Solitude, if there was a lift line it was 2 minutes long. The lodges are a bit more austere, and have more limited selection, than Park City, but they weren't crowded and a burger didn't cost $20. Even if you're at Snowbird, Solitude is a great option for those beginner and intermediate skiers, or for expert skier who wants a change of scenery. The parking lot does, however, fill up, so make sure to get there nice and early! And order tickets online ahead of time and you just might get a discount. read more

Had a suite with an extra room that sleeps 6 total. We came in September and it was so incredibly HOT and STUFFY in the room. All they left us was floor fans that blew around more hot air. Even with the windows open it provided no relief. They did however provide a FIREPLACE and HOT air central heat. Not for us! They seem to cater more to winter customers sadly. The gym is nothing to write home about. The ski lift did run, which took us up to hike. TIP: On the way up look to the LEFT for a TREE ornately decorated with BRAS, BEADS, and whatever else personal souvenir people chose to toss on that poor tree! read more

Wasn't impressed. I hadn't been here in over a decade and coming from LA I thought I'd give this place another try. Came with my boyfriend but wouldn't recommend this place for anyone but maybe families. After over $100 for a lift ticket, they are now charging $20 for parking!! So after arriving and getting ready with all your gear, you have to go to kiosk, get your parking ticket, drag your skis back to your car to put the stupid paper in the window, then back again to the chair lift. So stupid.... If you want to go to the village which is a joke, expect to pay for parking and overpriced mediocre food/drinks. Overall the atmosphere at the resort is just okay. Not very welcoming. Don't think I got a thank you or hello all day from the staff. Chairlifts aren't the fastest and don't seem to slow down enough when picking you up, thus hitting the back of your shins. The best areas to ski were closed by 3pm. The gift shop was closed at 4:20?? And the beer/wine only bar closes at 5. Bottom line, the value wasn't worth it in my opinion. read more

Recommended by my Airbnb hosts. I haven't skied in 20 years. I only did a half day. It was a gorgeous day. I picked a more than difficult lift for my first run, I fell twice, but I survived. Hit the 1 "bunny" slope a couple times but it wasn't challenging. Could just stand up and ride down no turning needed. So hit the first lift again. Went a different route down and adjusted much better. Probably went up the mountain a good 7-8 times in my 3hrs I was there. It's seems pricey to me for half day ($107) but again, been 20 years so maybe that normal. Haha. Good times. read more

A bit isolated up in the mountains, 30mins East of SLC. Pretty close to some of the other SLC resorts (Brighton, Alta) Low-Average price ($72). We got ours for $61 at a ski shop on the way up. Worth it. Size, Runs, Terrain: Relatively small resort (1200 acres); we rode almost the entire mountain in a short day. The name fits it well in that it feels somewhat secluded. 2,047 ft vert and 64 runs. Although there were many families here, the beginner runs are limited and fairly crowded. There are many good blues and blacks on the mountain with long, smooth runs. The smoothness comes in really handy on some of the faster groomed runs, especially when the shadows are cast over the runs (which is much of the day... riding over rough terrain w/ low light conditions is terrifying). There is a good amount of textured (read: mogul) areas here, but they are often immediately adjacent to groomed runs. If there's a mixed group, it's really easy to choose your individual preferences. Lifts Fewer than average (8). Feel a little outdated with mostly fixed-chairs, but adequate capacity to avoid lines. Most of the lift distances are relatively short, so the fixed chairs wasn't much of a problem. Snow & Weather/conditions 500" annually. It hadn't snowed in the 2 weeks or so prior to our trip, but the skiable terrain was still decent. A couple icy/hard-pack areas on the groomed runs, but we still managed to find some semi-fresh powder off to the side of the resort (in the trees). It's great to find a resort that has good terrain even in off-weather days. People density A small resort, but with few people. Only the beginner lift had any lines at all, everything else was ski straight up to the gate. Parking is in a single lot in front of the main lodge, a very short distance from everything. Favorite Run(s) Challenger (Black) -we were trying to set our downhill speed records here. Lots of good stuff and somewhat varied terrain. Liberty (Blue). Sol/Bright (Blue) had the tree powder. Overall Every resort has it's own feel and personality. I think my friend described it best when he said "it's a mellow little resort with just the right amount of aggro". Solitude's name fits it well in that it's a good distance out of the way and definitely not a popular resort. There aren't a ton of people here and it feels very laid back. At the same time, there is good terrain and features to keep you interested and on your toes. The moguls here add to the challenge (but are easily avoidable), and some of the runs are hard and fast. I would probably not fly out here to ride this resort by itself, but it makes a great addition or substitution for a single day on a multi-day trip. read more

The current dining and "get out of the cold" situation is untenable. It's a business decision masquerading as a COVID-19 safety precaution. Facts: (1) all of the other ski resorts in the region (Alta, Snowbird, etc.) have dining open at 50% capacity; (2) Deer Valley (Solitude's sister resort) has all of its restaurants open; (3) Solitude itself has ONE (off-mountain) restaurant open (Honeycomb Grill) directed at its lodging guests. It's a ski area, so you need places to get your young children out of the cold occasionally. Presently, there is no indoor seating so that you can do so. Limiting capacity makes sense, but Solitude's on-mountain dining closure is a nonsensical, transparent business decision. If you have an option next season to get a different season pass, or if your family is taking a ski vacation, look elsewhere. read more

A more challenging mountain for most with an abundance of blacks, and double blacks. Some blues are steeper than you think. The overall crowd can ski well. I would not recommend for beginners just because there aren't many greens and easy blues. It has more runs than Brighton and it seemed less crowded because it was more spread out. Solitude is like Brighton's older cooler sister that drives a convertible and dates the school jock. Solitude is updated in its interior decor, bar, maps, and chair lifts. Their most beginner lift, "easy street" is very straight forward. It is fairly wide for those who are learning and it's not too steep. The rest of the lifts can be very steep in certain areas but also has areas where the slope flattens out. I like Solitude because the trails interconnect more than Brighton. You can take one chair lift, navigate down the trails and end up at the other side of the resort. Also, at the chair lift exits they have benches to lean/sit on which helps to get you strapped in. The lodge at Solitude was perfect. A stone wrapped fireplace and reasonably priced food (see previous review of Brighton) made it welcoming to me as I came off the slope a little sore. I read my kindle near the fire and had a beer. Life was great! Oh, and free wifi! The only drawback of solitude was their archaic locker system. You place 6 quarters in, lock your belongings and unless you have six more quarters, your things are in there until you're ready to leave. Kind of a pain, and pretty annoying seeing that their facilities are new and updated. There is a change machine conveniently located near the elevator, so we were able to get more quarters but it seems silly to have to pay every time you need to get your things and lock it again. Overall I enjoyed Solitude...I will definitely recommend it to friends traveling to Salt Lake City! read more

There is absolutely no place to sit down and have breakfast. Many of the resort rooms only come with a tiny fridge and no cutlery or dishes. It was not disclosed how difficult it is to get food here. All indoor dining was booked up with reservations except for odd times. Also the places to stop and get something on the hill - they took out all the chairs and tables so we have to eat on the floor and monitors are sent around ensuring you are only there for 15 minutes. Dinner order and pickup time was over an hour at the honeycomb. The snow is great!! This place needs better management! read more

The pluses are: Wide, well-groomed runs Excellent main eating area at Moonbeam Lodge Good variety of terrain for all skill levels The negatives are: Some of the lifts are woefully slow Getting around the mountain can be a pain The Honeycomb Canyon is a lot of fun (when there is enough snow coverage) but it is a pain to get into and to run again. Soli is my home resort. I chose to make it so because of the fact that I literally can ski right off the mountain and onto a chair without waiting in a line 98% of the time, and that's from skiing 5-6 days a week during the ski season three years in a row now. The only times you'll have to wait is during the college break periods. Prepare yourself; those 1 minute lift lines are a killer.* Yes, the terrain may be more relaxed, in general, than at the neighboring Little Cottonwood resorts. But stretch those wings and fly off the beaten path; if you're sporting skis or are willing to bootpack, you can easily access some awesomely challenging terrain. And sidecountry? Heck yes. The Solitude/Brighton border is famed for the goods and is easily accessed through gates at the top of the Summit chair. Not into working for your turns? No problem. The resort features almost everything your heart could wish for all levels of skiers, just don't hope for a world class terrain park. For wide open groomers where you can really test out the G forces, head to Sunshine Bowl or Main Street (or hit both in one run). For wide open powder hits, you can't beat the delicious Honeycomb. And for continuous powder shots days after a storm --well, you'll just have to explore on your own. This local isn't giving up all the secrets. * = sarcasm. Please visit Snowbird or Alta during any powder day and try out their 20+ minute lift lines. Then return to Solitude and sigh in relief when you breeze past the lift operators in one seamless run. read more

This is a low class snow resort for Utah. It was dirty and staffed with rude unprofessional staff.

Excellent skiing experience for a beginner. Before coming to Solitude, I had gone skiing once. The first time, I didn't take lessons and relied on my friends' expertise to get up and down the mountain. Riding the lift is pretty easy to learn. Going down the slopes without formal instruction - not as easy. Several years later, here I am at Solitude. The first "mountains" I skied on in Ohio had a vertical drop of 240 feet. The vertical drop at Solitude is 2,047 feet. Ten fold difference in height with a zero fold change in experience. Not taking lessons was not an option. The group lessons are broken down by skill level. Having completely forgotten how to ski, I joined the first time ski group. To get to your lesson, enter the Snowsports Academy from the parking lot. Go up to the second floor to check in. After you check in, the lesson groups meet outside in back of the lodge. The ski lesson for complete novices was very thorough. We learned how to put on our skis, how to ride the lift, and the most efficient way to push through the snow. Our instructor taught us a few drills on the flat portion of the hill to get used to moving around on the skis. We learned how to turn and how to stop. I had trouble keeping up with the group, so the instructor asked another instructor to come out and help. The one-on-one instruction was extremely helpful. At the beginning of my lesson, I was barreling out of control off the lift ramp. By the end of my lesson, I was able to turn, have some control of my speed, and go down the easiest slope (Easy Street) without falling or flying into the treeline. Thanks to Mike and Ed for doing a fantastic job teaching a complete beginner. I walked into my lesson clueless and left my lesson with enough of a foundation to work on skiing independently. I definitely recommend Solitude if you're looking for a place to take ski lessons in Utah. read more

Solitude is poorly designed . Runs are steep and some of the cat trails end at cliffs and sometimes you are very stuck for longer than you planned. It's harder to navigate than Snowbird. No mountain hosts. Blue runs turn into black runs without visible signage and you can get really stuck in the many, many black runs. Brighton is much more fun and way friendlier. read more

After spending most of November in and out of the hospital my 9 year old son, who is battling leukemia, was feeling pretty good on December 4th, and his Doctor gave him clearance to go skiing. So, we headed up to Solitude. It was super crowded, and we thought about turning around and heading back down the canyon. However, when you have a kid with cancer that is feeling good you learn to try everything to take advantage of those moments. So, we continued up to the lot, and when we pulled in two very nice young men greeted us. I explained the situation to them, and asked if they could help us out. They directed us to their manager BIll, and told us they were sure he would be able to figure something out. I pulled forward and explained the situation to Bill, and he laughed in my face. I was shocked. I figured maybe he didn't hear me and so I re-explained that my kid has cancer and it is tough for him to walk long distances, and because he is immunocompromised he can't ride the bus. Bill laughed in my face a second time, and explained to me that everyone else parked in the lot had gotten up on time, and I should learn to do the same. Then he told me I should drop my kids off, and pick them up later so: "At least they could go skiing." He told us to pull around the drop off lane and leave, then laughed again as he walked away shaking his head, and saying something to his employees about us. I understand it is a busy day, and you may not be able to make an accommodation for a sick kid, but to be jerk about it is crazy. I reached out to Solitude right after it happened and they did not respond. read more

We were here for a summer wedding. Pretty good experience overall. PROS: Friendly staff. Especially the gals (Erin and Sarah) who kept the wine flowing during the wedding. You two rocked! Very pretty in the summer Cute little village area with an ice cream place and restaurant Nice pool CONS: They seem understaffed. The breakfast scene was kind of a disaster. We waited 40 minutes for a bagel sandwich None of the hiking/biking trails are marked. In the summer, there's not much to do besides bike or hike. I must have seen 4--5 people lost on the trails, holding the little maps...which didn't do much. I hope they change that soon and get some well marked trails going. read more

I enjoyed my time at Solitude. The resort is small but that's not always bad. We were there Thurs to Sat and the first day it was as if we had the whole mountain to ourselves. It was great. Here's how it compares to other resorts: Solitude is of course smaller. This year the snowfall is below average which means some of the lifts/trails weren't open. That was a bummer, however, they were all black and being a snowboarder, that was okay by me. That also meant a lot of small trees and twigs were sticking up out of the snow. Not great but not a showstopper. The difficulty of the trails are harder than other resorts. Each could probably be bumped up half a level. The greens should be a green/blue and blues, blue/black. They were within my skill level which is a solid blue/black. There's no terrain park. The trails are not mid-day groomed. I realized this mid through our trip. As the day progresses, the trails get more and more choppy and in other resorts the snow cats come and regroom the trails. That doesn't happen here and that may be why the lift ticket price is so affordable. It does put you at a disadvantage later in the day when you're getting tired and the trails are getting choppy. We stayed at the Village and being able to walk back to your lodging was awesome. There are several places to eat nearby. We tried the Honeycomb Grill and would recommend it. Lifts are all in good condition, most are detachable so they slow down for on and off loading. The offloading ramp is higher than other resorts so trying to stand up as you off load is a bit awkward even for experienced skiers and riders. All in all, I enjoyed the time I had here. It's not my favorite resort but getting to try out different ones is part of the fun. read more

Today, 1/1/2021, was our first time to visit Solitude. We had 2 advanced snowboarders and one advanced skier in our group. I'm giving Solitude 3 stars due to very poor signage that did not say which runs were groomed or not. We found ourselves going down runs with huge moguls when that was not what we intended. It didn't seem like the staff was taking Covid protocols seriously. Unlike other Utah resorts, the Solitude staff didn't always ask people to wear a nose and mouth covering. The bathrooms at the Moonbeam base area are extremely small and inconvenient. I am not a large person at 130 pounds and could barely close the door with my ski suit on. For snowboarders there were places where they needed to keep a high speed or they end ed up having to walk and/or carry their board. Watch for hidden rocks!! I think Solitude could be a better place with more snow. read more

What can I say? I hate crowds! So upon arriving in Salt Lake City, Solitude was the first ski resort I wanted to go to. And this place really does earn its name, "Solitude". I actually don't mind that its not as big as some of the other resorts in the area. I'd rather feel like I have the entire trail (or mountain) to myself than wait in line to get onto a lift. I'm not an expert snowboarder so that's probably why I prefer the slower pace of this mountain - nice mix of easy to moderate runs and wide open paths for you to carve on. I'll be honest, I stuck to Moonbeam Express for most of the day, but I did do the Alta Bird trail as well (but only because we got on the wrong lift...). North Star is also a nice easy run. Most of the runs are intermediate or expert. For green runs, take the Moonbeam Express or Sunrise lifts. I think this place is more popular with skiers - the snowboarders are most likely over at Brighton where they have a terrain park. Till next time, Solitude :) read more

No lines. I repeat no lines. Wish the lifts would be longer though. I feel like I just got my blood flowing and I'm already at the bottom of the lift again. Other than that, no lines sure is nice. This is easily the #2 disc golf course in Utah (but still behind Base Camp a few steps). We came up here on a Saturday around 10 with myself, my father, and my two brothers, ready to try out an exciting course. The lift is $10 per person and runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday, or if you have two cars you can easily hike in from Brighton. It's a slow lift, but you do have some great views on the way up. We actually talked to a group at the bottom when we first arrived that were planning on doing the two car hike thing, and they beat us to the top. There was a moderate sized crowd, but it wasn't a problem. We had to wait about 10 minutes or so because there were 2 or 3 groups in front of us when we started. The first group was painfully slow, it must have been their first time playing as they were throwing wildly and not very far. While this isn't a problem, if you are new to the sport and slow, PLEASE let other groups play through you. You will likely lose a disc or two per group here. We got very lucky and managed to keep all of ours, but there were quite a few times where we all had to stop and search for someones disc. Again, if you are going to be searching for a while and a group is waiting behind you, let them play through. I'd also recommend a spotter for holes that have a higher potential of losing discs. There are a lot of trees here to lose your disc in, so keep an eye on the direction it's heading. It took us around 3 hours to go from the lift to finishing the round. There are a lot of great throws here, and a lot of unique ones. 16/18 of the holes are downhill, which is pretty unique compared to other courses. It was an interesting challenge to try and figure out where your disc would land based on the drop. The 2 uphill holes were challenging as well. All the holes were a lot of fun, and I look forward to improving my score down the road! You can order food from the pizza place at hole 18 on your way down...we were disappointed in the time it took them to get it to us though. We could have driven out of the canyon and ate better food faster than it took them to get our order made. read more

Our experience was incredible! The ski school/day care was fabulous! Amanda was an incredible ski instructor that was patient and kind with every kid I saw her with on the mountain! She was also kind to us as family members wanting to trail behind and watch, which was sometimes disruptive to her lesson. She was a rockstar and so were the childcare workers! My friends and I have been coming to Utah for a number of years now for the incredible skiing. Each year the locals tell us to check out Solitude so we finally gave it a shot. At the ticket booth my one friend was ripped off by an old woman who said her hip was bothering her and wanted to sell her ticket to him for 30 bucks. The ticket didn't work. Not Solitudes fault but this was just the beginning. If you take the honeycomb lift to the top you might as well walk because it's slow as all hell. The entire facility was filled with small children using this sub par hill as an amusement park and geriatrics whom are worried about busting their hip on a real mountain. The terrain set up makes no sense and every run leads to the dreaded honeycomb lift. Also don't get the chicken pot pie unless you like eating out of a seasoning bottle. This is literally my first review I've ever written and it's purely due to my anger for this shit hole. I came to Utah for mountains and powder not chucky cheese and was Misguided by the locals whom clearly think saving $30 over snowbird, Alta and Canynons is worth it. Then again that's probably why they are ripping people off at the ticket booth so they can afford it. Been snowboarding here several times per season for 15+ years, and since the Deer Valley/Alterra buyouts it has unfortunately taken quite a few turns for the worse. I understand the financial incentives/reasons to join one of the big pass programs, however, I also expect them to understand that with more crowds comes the need for more line roping/directives/staffing. I gave them the benefit of the doubt last year in regards to line organization(despite mtn management knowing fully well the pass conglomerate participation would increase crowds immensely) but unfortunately upon returning to Solitude this year I was not only greeted by the same lack of line roping off the Summit chair during today's non-blackout, holiday, powder day as last season resulting in continued line cutting from the sides but it even had 1 out of 4 rfid gates broken with no out of order/closed sign in place to inform customers. Thus, everyone was scrambling to switch gates at the last second, banging their skis/boards off one another and damaging people's gear... The cherry on top of today's disaster was checking both the ikon app and the solitude website for lift status after lunch before hitting the slopes again to see everything but honeycomb return was open, only to walk out there and find the Apex lift was on wind hold.... How freaking hard is it to keep an accurate lift status up to date???? I wish I could recommend this mountain still but unfortunately the corporate ownership has sent it into the dump... In summation, they need to clean house of management and rename the mountain to something more accurate because the place sure isn't "Solitude" for skiers/boarders like it once was... P.S. it's pretty scummy of them to announce/implement a paid parking policy that was undoubtedly planned out well in advance only after collecting everyone's season pass money.... It's a policy that doesn't even effect me as I've got family with a place up here to park at, however, it irks me that the management would pull such a move anyways and even worse, blame their cash grab on being "green".... I don't see them posting a parking status of when the lot is full on their website to save people from driving up/back without even being able to ski... Saving the environment, yea right... Today my rental skis were taken by someone while I stopped in the lodge for a breaK. I contacted the mountain manager and others. Meanwhile I watched all skiers lIke a hawk looking for my skis and poles. Next to where I left my skis there was another set which sat there all afternoon. I went to ski rental and told then I think I found who may have my skis. They called her and tracked down my skis for me. Plus they reimbursed me for my lift ticket! I lost a day of skiing with my family on vacation but the staff at Solitude were super professional and helpful. I do love Solitude! Meanwhile please pay attention to details when grabbing skis after a break. The wooman who took mine had different color, size and poles than mine. WTF? read more

Very nice resort! Uncrowded, beautiful and awesome. The staff is helpful but not overbearing. The room was perfectly clean and quite a bit larger than a typical hotel room. Great view from the balcony. We would love to visit again. read more
