I called front desk and they assured me they would send maintenance up, after 20 mins of waiting (after a whole day of traveling), I called again and front desk said they would check with maintenance again, then they called me back saying actually the boiler is broken and there will be no hot water to use for the night. I travel a lot and have never stayed at a resort (or even regular hotel) with no working hot water. This issue was not fixed the next morning, so we couldn't take a shower the next day either. We had a ski reservation, so in the afternoon when I called the hotel if we can shower (we desperately needed to shower especially after skiing), they said they finally have someone came to fix it but it will take time to heat up for the whole place and cannot walk guarantee how long it will take. I expressed how ridiculous this situation is and the only thing they offered was to refund for 1 day of resort fee. On our last day, the AC unit broke so there was no heat in our room (the day we left in the morning, it was 29 degrees outside). Also the whole time we were there, no one ever came to clean the room (every single hotel and resort I've ever stayed at, they come to clean daily or at-least every other day). This is not a resort - there's no typical resort amenities and the rooms look so old like they have not been updated in a long time. Everything was broken and the management offered no accommodation besides refunding 1 day of resort fee lol 100% would stay away and don't waste your money or point at this place.

The floors are covered in plastic wrap, there's painter's tape (and active painting!) everywhere, the lobby pool is totally torn to shreds. My coworkers and I were wondering what fumes we were being exposed to every time we walked through the hotel. There's no housekeeping unless you ask, and only available during certain hours (So when I noticed the shampoo in my shower was empty I was SOL.), they offer a "discounted" rate to the health club across the street for the lack of pool (it should be free for the hassle), and worst of all they still charge a resort fee on the bill? For what??? The few positives are that the front desk staff was nice, and my room was large, quiet, and mostly clean. You could tell they recently renovated the room but didn't do the best job--shower leaked all over the floor, paint was peeling from the ceiling, and the door was super hard to open. Maybe the hotel will be nice when the renovation is done, but for now I would definitely avoid.

The 2 star review is based solely on the resort and timeshares mismanagement of the owners. After checking in, the resort informs that they are now charging $20 a night for parking. But if you come to an owner update (which is a sales pitch meeting) they let you park for free. They will also give you $100 visa gift card. So I say ok reluctantly since the company just had the highest increase in maintenance dues in my 17 years as an owner, and then followed it up with an extra $100 per 20k in points a few months later. The company claims they needed more money for maintenance after a reassessment of property. So here I am. 7:45am at the check in for owner update to get my parking free. And the $100 I was forced to pay to the company so they could turn around and give it away at a sales meeting. Seems a bit crooked and should be illegal. But at least 60 minutes of my time will give me the parking and my money back. Nope. The sales team refuse to allow me to tour and listen because my wife didn't want to attend with me. The sales team asked her before me, and she said no. I told them I would attend and they not once said she would have to be with me in attendance. I explained she was not available and that she had no interest in this meeting or anything that the company had to sale. They start escorting me out as they tell me no... and then as I get angry the sales team tells me I'm being rude. One guy raises a hand at me and before he touches me I even tell him "do not touch me". I am now waiting for a sales manager and or the sales concierge to call me back to tell me what they will do. This high pressure sales tactic against already owners of the property is getting ridiculous. If you, like me own into any of the Wyndham properties. I'm sorry for you. If you do not own.... Don't. Save your money. This company has been ruined by the board and by the management. They are charging owners more to maintain the property yearly .11 per credit than they charge non owners to rent .08 per credit. The whole thing is broken. All my great memories of vacation with family being ruined by a corporate greed conglomerate. If you are looking at timeshare ownership. Look elsewhere. Wyndham and worldmark are a sham company out to take your money. After discussing the issues with the resorts general manager. And the efforts from him to correct what he has control over, I chose to update this review from 2 stars to 4 stars. The resort is great and the team taking care of the resort and ultimately the vacation price of my trip was excellent. Stay away from the sales team as it works under other management and seems to follow whatever path they choose and fall under a parallel management team. Park city Wyndham team thank you. I'm so happy they do not have single use plastic shampoo and conditioner. Thank you, thank you thank you If you are the wife of a climber and used to traditional hotels, then it is a bit of a surprise. Be sure to bring your slippers. The hard concrete is hard on my toes. Don't get me wrong. It's very clean. I just wish I had my slippers. Also, if you're planning to refrigerate or freeze something, you may request a cooler. There are no refrigerators in the rooms. With the coolers, the staff is kind enough to replace the ice when needed. Texting is easy to communicate. The rooftop bar doesn't open until four. But I was able to walk up to it. At one in the afternoon in the summer it is so hot. I can see why it's not open till after four when things cool off. Amazing views. Sadly, I think someone will be blocked when the buildings across the street get finished. Really nice stuff. Lots of shopping. Like I said a climbers dream. Four star for the rest of us.

I got two bonus weight-training workouts in here and it's a great, no-frills gym area. Just weights, bars, and racks. Loved it for a "hotel gym" (it's technically it's own gym and space, just happens to be in the hotel) -An outdoor shop (Evo) and a skatepark attached (the only time I wondered if I might be too old to be here) -A cafe with nice breakfast options and more good coffee -Coworking spaces with good WiFi throughout the space -Water fountain and water bottle station by the room Location was a quick Uber to most things, but I certainly didn't feel like the surrounding area was walkable. It felt more like large busy roads made for traffic. I felt like I got to know the baristas and bartenders, emanating good vibes and welcoming energy. I actually *wanted* to be out and about, milling throughout this cool space. Now to keep it real, part of the reason I wanted to be out was of course all the good things I've mentioned, but also because I didn't love the room. It looked cool in pictures, but was cold, soulless, had wires hanging about from the TV and lamps like a college dorm. The bed was decent but I never slept great, and it felt sterile in there. The best part about this hotel property is the epic facilities with indoor pool jacuzzi that extends outside with an additional jacuzzi and barbecue gathering space. There is also a dry sauna, gym and an outstanding lobby area that feels like home. I can't say enough positive things about this best of the best Park City pick close to the slopes and a plethora of shops/restaurants on main street all with a complimentary shuttle!!!The price is worth it and I plan to return here to stay for more ski trips! Although he remained professional throughout the interaction, he was uninterested in helping me with my blight of having an SUV stuck in 20 inches of fresh snow. His only solution was to tell me to "take a shovel and deal with it yourself. We're busy. If you don't finish, you can continue working on it after you get back from skiing at 4 PM." His response was very dismissive, rushed, and condescending. He didn't even extend the courtesy of asking someone from his team to help. After shoveling snow for 20 minutes, I see him sitting at reception, doing nothing. This is an absolutely UNACCEPTABLE attitude towards guests. However, as a saving grace, the other employees at Goldminer's Daughter Lodge were PHENOMENAL. Two different employees noticed me struggling to shovel snow and immediately got a shovel and helped me. If not for these kind folks, I would have missed my flight.
