I sought his care to extend my hiking years--degenerative changes in my knees 5 and 17 years after 2 routine orthoscopic meniscus surgeries had left me unable to hike more than a mile without pain. After review of MRIs and discussion of possible differential Dr Nelson almost painlessly extracted bone marrow from my hips and injected the specially spun down stem cells into both of my knees. 30 days later his PA, Sarah injected platelet rich plasma into both knees.
