My wife found this office a few years ago after doing an internet search and we both started coming to Solon Dental Excellence then. My first few visits were not fun at all since I had so much work that needed to get done. I had numerous cavities filled and a few old fillings removed (some had fallen out on their own, others were loose and just needed changing.) I went to all white fillings at the suggestion of one of the hygienists and it looks pretty good. you would never know that I had so many cavities through the years. I also had a root canal done more recently and it went as smoothly as can be expected. I am in customer service at a relatively large company, so it's one of the things I always look for at any business I frequent. I'm happy to report that this office took care of my wife and I. We've never seen a bill because they handle things with our insurance company, the staff treats us very well, and Dr. Kalaf and her husband really know their stuff. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the doctors and staff at Solon Dental Excellence! Due to some bad dental experiences, I developed a severe case of "fraidy-cat-itis" and went without professional dental care for decades. Needless to say my teeth and gums deteriorated badly to where I was in a lot of pain. When a tooth finally just broke I was forced to seek care. After googling and reading reviews I chose Solon Dental Excellence. I am SO GLAD I did!! The staff and doctors there went above and beyond to calm my fears. I had such anxiety I would just cry. Everyone here at Solon Dental Excellence are very professional and friendly. Not only do they do a great job, they make it so their patients are very comfortable. On top of excellent staff and great service, they are very good at getting people in around their schedule. For example, I chipped my tooth eating and I had work in the next couple hours. I showed up there and without an appointment they were happy to take me in. This was a huge relief for me because I didn't want to work with a broken tooth in front of people. Dr. Kalaf has been my dentist for 4 yrs now and is actually my 2nd dentist since moving to the Cleveland area. The first Dr. (I won't name names) really hurt a lot when he was drilling a cavity so I made a switch. Her office is a lot nicer. The reception area is warm and friendly, the exam rooms are more private, and the hygienists are younger and more personable. So far it's been just cleanings and x-rays, but the experience has been good. My teeth aren't great, so I'm sure I'll have more things done in the future and update my review as needed. read more

Solon Dental Excellence has been my office of choice for several years. They are professional, friendly and most of all kind. So important in an accounter that has most people nervous and somewhat afride. I had my teeth cleaned today by Lisa. Not only is she very kind and friendly. She is very knowledgeable and educated on dental hygiene. I highly recommend visiting her and the rest of the staff. After my teeth cleaning, Nicole prepared my teeth for Invsialign. She took the time to make sure that I was not uncomfortable during the process. This office is awesome! I recently moved into Ohio so I did not have a dentist yet. I called this office because I was in severe pain and the receptionist was so sweet and made sure to get me in that day. Dr Kalaf did the work right then and I am now pain free! I went to Solon Dental Excellence to get braces and I could not have had a better orthodontic experience. The expander that I got was very comfortable and when the braces were put on the process was very easy. The hygienists there were very thorough and careful when changing out my donuts and when removing the braces. I don't think the experience could have been better! :) read more
