Absolutely flawless service. The belt on my garage door opener of 15 years snapped, and I left a message for Soltero to install a new one. We phoned and emailed the next business day. They offered a full replacement (parts and installation) for about $500 but I wanted a fancier model. So, I ordered my own opener, and they came and installed it for $400. John not only did a great job, but was on-time, confirmed in advance, friendly, and thorough. He stapled down wires, hid everything as best as he could, and made sure everything worked. He drove off with the old parts so I wouldn't have to dispose them. Julie, the person who answers the phones and emails, was also fabulous. Bad, bad , service from this company I have them come out to replace replace my garage opener and the guy show up to my house . My wife answered the door . We have a preschool and she could not step away from the kids to manually open the door she let me know that the repair guy was here. I was in the bathroom. I tried to get out there as quickly as I could , he couldn't wait for me to open the garage door so he left maybe it was about 4 to 6 minutes max and then I called his office and the lady was so rude and told me that they have another jobs so I guess my job is not important. They didn't even ask to reschedule. I know that customer service is sometimes difficult. I try to keep that in mind. But also think that a company should offer options to fix a problem especially if it was simple. It says a lot about a company that doesn't care about their customers. read more

Great experience! Called about programming remotes we received when we got our new house. The ones we were given didn't work and we needed a professional. John came to our rescue. Had to get new remotes and some service and it works perfectly. John & Julie are a great team. I called and on the same day he was able to come out, inspect and provide solutions. Soltero replaced springs etc 10 months ago; I was so impressed with knowledge snd service I requested they replace my 22 y/o system. Again, great service. February 2021 a "glitch" with system installed April 2020. One call to Soltero, friendly understanding response from Julie on the phone. Did NOT say "deal with manufacturer! " Next day John came out, assessed problem with system and quickly replaced needed parts etc., all of course with no charge (under warranty). She was very friendly and patient which sold me from the get go. She helped me set up an appointment for the next day. John, the owner came out on time to fix the broken torsion spring. He even gave tips on how to care for the garage (maintenance) while he was servicing (lubing) the garage rollers, hinges and torsion springs. John even serviced (lubed) my other single garage door at no additional charge. Pricing was one of the best in the area also. Our 32-year old garage door opener hadn't worked in a few years. I was texted that Soltero had openings in the next week. The knowledgeable woman who phoned to set the date helped define the problem (motor humming, springs intact, etc.) & offered to have a new motor brought if needed. I agreed. The owner came within a 4-hr window. He diagnosed a broken part which could be ordered & installed within 2 weeks (cheaper option), but I opted for the new motor. He did not press me on the decision. He put it in and, because I'm short, moved the inside button to something easier to reach. The new motor is quiet & came with a light & electronic eye safety feature. Last Fall my 12 year old LiftMaster garage door opener began acting up and would work perfectly for a week or two, then it would just click, but wouldn't lift the door. I put up with it's finicky behavior until a few weeks ago when I decided to begin my search for a new opener and installer. There were thirteen garage door companies that serve our area, but I wanted to hire a local, family owned business to do the job. I did my Google and Yelp research and found one that was consistently highly rated...Soltero Garage Doors. I called their office and described how my opener was clicking a lot, but not engaging and the woman who answered said in her experience it sounded like the internal computer board was failing. I made my appointment and the company owner, John Soltero showed up right on time to replace the opener. It would have been easy to just open the box and install a new motor and rail, but John removed all the old steel bracing, wiring, chain, center rail...everything that was old. He then oiled the door, made some adjustments so the door was perfectly balanced, and got to work. He meticulously and professionally installed the new opener, safety sight glasses, outside pad and indoor pad, wired it all together and programmed the opener to raise and lower quietly and with the perfect amount of force. John is personable, a consummate professional, and one of the nicest guys you ever want to meet. I certainly wish every repairman in Lodi was just like John! read more

Where do I start ? First of all John and his wife are the friendliest people that you could ever meet. We had John come out to give us a quote and we accepted it. He ordered the garage that we wanted and he recieved it in 3 days or so. He called us to let us know that it was delivered to him but we still hadn't got approval from our HOA. He was nice enough to keep it for us until we were approved. Fast forward two weeks later (today). John and his buddy came to our house right on time. Our previous garage was in bad shape but John and his crew got it out fast and without a problem. John installed all new rails and springs. He even oiled our existing garage door opener and hooked out sensors back up. The garage looks amazing and I couldn't be happier. Both torsion springs were broken on my garage door and my car was stuck inside. The owner came by on friday morning, within an hour of me calling the office. He wasn't able to fix it as i have an insulated garage door and he didn't have the correct springs with him. He said he'd be back on monday to fix it but called me that night to tell me he was able to find some springs.
