My husband and I took the Vinyasa Flow class with Nicole! It was a fantastic experience. They provide everything except a mat and water. We were given great instruction and options for all levels in the class. We used blocks and straps in this class. At the end they gave cold tea tree infused towels to help Us cool down and meditate. There are so many yoga studios that focus only on the physical aspect of yoga, whereas Soluna is geared towards mindfulness and well being. I'm not sure if they still offer the combined restorative/prenatal class, but I highly recommend, it's filled with wonderful feminine energy (and if its good for pregnant women, it's good for you.) I've had a wonderful experience in every class I've taken. Nicole even helped me master a pose I've been struggling with for years with a simple adjustment. I can't say enough good things about this studio, but it offers students an authentic practice and hosts many opportunities to learn and grow. There's even a free book club, which I'll have to take part in one of these days. read more

First time here and all I have to say is WOW Amazing spa experience! I have a neck that can give me problems from time to time but after 60 minutes with Chey, I feel SO much better! She did wonders and focused on the problem spots (shoulders/neck) and I couldn't be more grateful! I take yoga at Soluna, and just received my first spa treatment there yesterday for my birthday. All of the experiences I have had at Soluna have been so lovely, and I feel very fortunate they're just around the corner from me. Nicolette is a wonderful massage therapist, and there isn't a yoga teacher I'd really recommend over another. I did really enjoy yoga therapy recently, and the Saturday morning classes, though early, are a nice way to wake up. And of course chair yoga on Monday is great for those of us with mobility issues. You will be warmly welcomed and feel better when you come here. That has definitely been my experience. read more

Went a few weeks and has Crystal as my massage therapist. Absolute 12/10. The moment I entered, it was warm and welcoming and everyone was so kind. I have tried several yoga studios and, for the most part, they can be a bit intense. I just want something that will help me unwind from a busy day, collect my thoughts and feel renewed. Soluna Yoga is wonderful and JAYME, the Restore instructor is the best. She has the most pleasant voice, says helpful things and makes the experience 100% enjoyable. She was sure to ask about the areas that needed the most attention, informed me of what she planned to do, and shared information about the benefits of everything she was doing while also giving plenty of moments of silence for total relaxation. I love this neighborhood gem! It feels like a mini-oasis that's tucked conveniently right near Five Points. The atmosphere, the customer service, and the yoga instruction are all top-notch. I particularly love the Yin Yoga and Yoga Therapy sessions in the evenings with Dori and Elizabeth. Every masseuse I've had has been fantastic and I love the thoughtful touches around the salon, like the aromatherapy and the brief moment in the relaxation room before massage. After waiting three weeks for the first available weekend appointment for a couples massage, we were contacted less than two hours before the appointment to be informed that one of the massage therapists "wasn't feeling good". I didn't want my girl to have to wait to reschedule, so I told her to just go for a solo massage. When she responded to the text to confirm that the one therapist that did feel ok would be able to do her massage, she was told they weren't going to be available either. After waiting three weeks.... Very disappointed. There are too many massage places in Jax that are well organized and more accommodating. I suggest booking elsewhere if you're considering this place. read more

I'll have to update after each class, since I bought the Groupon deal of 5 classes. But my first time here was relaxing and soothing. I decided to try the Detox massage before Yin yoga, which is a 60 minute massage. My licensed therapist was Tamara, and she was so sweet! She made sure I had a cup of tea beforehand and asked if I needed any specific spots worked on during our session. I told her my shoulders, since I work at a desk for my job for 8 hours each day and they get tense. She made a note of that and gave me privacy to undress and get under the warm blankets. She used essential oils during the massage and worked out the kinks in my shoulders. It was such a good massage that I almost fell asleep! I highly recommend her. Plus, you can get $15 off when you check in on Yelp. It worked out perfectly that I was able to go to a yoga class after my massage. I chose the Yin Yoga class, which focused more on relaxing and stretching your connective tissues. Some of the stretches were intense, but totally worth the small amount of discomfort which melted into calm awareness. I felt peace and calm the whole time, and I think it is a great change to the normal yoga and hot yoga classes. Sometimes you need to focus on stretching and finding yourself. My second class was the Empower yoga. It was more active than the Yin yoga, but still a great workout! I felt the love and acceptance during my practice, and there was no judgment when I got unsteady in a pose. There is a lot of core work, but nothing too crazy or impossible. read more

Soluna has been my favorite spa in town, for monthly massages with Nicolette. And now I can say that I've discovered their incredible salt room, for relaxation and a variety of health benefits. My son and I tried halo therapy after a friend recommended it because of our stuffy noses from seasonal allergies, and it totally worked on us! I was really shocked how well it worked on my son, who'd been home from school for 3 days at that point because mask wearing is tough when you've got a runny nose. We were thrilled it worked. And now that I know about that little magical room at soluna, I'll be returning when we have another stuffy nose in our house (non-contagious illness only, of course). The treatment lasted for 45 minutes and was so incredibly relaxing. I thought my son would have a hard time sitting still, but again, it's a pretty magical little room. He was completely happy and finally able to breathe out of his nose! So, I'm a big fan now and highly recommend it! read more

The most AMAZING massage you'll ever have. I get massages quite often, but this place has definitely been my favorite. I scheduled a couples massage for my boyfriend and I for Valentine's Day. We were offered champagne (other drinks were available as well) and yummy, healthy snacks while we waited in a lounge. My therapist was Colette. She was amazing! Very strong with great deep tissue work and she was able to get out all my knots. My boyfriend also really enjoyed his therapist as afterwards he said he felt like he had a new body!! We both were very happy and relaxed after the massages. We will for sure be back next time we are in Jacksonville. read more

My first visit to Soluna was for a facial with Darcy Webb. The studio has a very peaceful energy from the moment you enter. Every detail has been addressed. The treatment room has a beautiful mural. Darcy started my facial with a warm towel soaked in a lavender and rose infusion. Each aspect of the service was customized to address my skin type and concerns. I've been getting facials every few weeks and seen a real improvement in my skin. Recently I decided to take advantage of some of the workshops offered at the studio. Dr Marie taught a class on intention and yoga Nidra. I also tried a candlelight workshop combining restorative yoga and reiki. I've been going to Soluna Yoga regularly for the last month and can't speak highly enough of the studio! Dori, the owner, is very warm and compassionate and has built a beautiful community. The classes are varied from relaxing to recharging, and what I think sets this studio apart is that there is never that subtle underlying feeling of competition that occasionally pops up in other studios. The culture here is warm, friendly, and welcoming to people of all backgrounds and yoga experience levels. While I'm not a complete newby, I can say with certainty that if you've never tried yoga before and are intimidated but curious, this is the place to go!! They are beyond wonderful and nonjudgemental. Experienced yogis thrive here as well :) Plus you can't beat the tea and warm scented towels with every class, and even the occasional mini-massage! In addition to the variety of classes, there are a host of events and workshops. I had the pleasure of taking part in a yoga with live music class, and it was amazing. Just experienced my first session of Halotherapy at Soluna and I am amazed at how good I feel. I went with my sister and 5 year old niece and it was so relaxing!!!! There were complimentary snacks that really made it feel like we were having a mini spa day. The atmosphere was serene and quite. My niece was able to even relax for the 45 mins which as a 5 year old you know is hard to do. It helped me breathe a little better after the session and I get renewed!!! After reading great reviews and researching their site to find a $21 for 21 days of unlimited yoga sealed the deal for me. I was not disappointed. I've gone to 3 different classes so far all different styles of yoga and I'm already sleeping and feeling better. The instructors have been helpful and passionate about their practice.
