They were out today for an issue with my A/C that had gone down last night. I called this morning around 8:00 and they were here by 9:00 to fix the problem. They are always timely, tell me what is the matter, help me to do the right things to keep the unit running. John and Jacob are always friendly and efficient. I enjoy the interactions with Sarina in the office. She's quick to get the connections to John and Jacob on the road. I highly recommend them.

Was able to diagnose the problem in minutes. Had the parts with them. Completely fixed within an hour, and back to cooling! Very nice guys. Professional. Efficient. Kind. They also offered follow up services and suggestions and guaranteed the work so that if anything related to their work goes wrong, they'll fix it for free. Now that's how you build trust. Fast forward to February of 2024! I noticed that the HVAC unit did not seem to be working properly. I contacted Diane at AC & H of Tampa Bay and she set up an appointment to have one of their technicians inspect my HVAC unit. The next morning, Bobby thoroughly inspected my HVAC unit and upon completion he advised me he wanted to speak with the staff at the main office because of concerns he had regarding my condenser unit. Thirty minutes after he left my residence, Bobby called and advised me that the condenser unit needs to be replaced. The main office later called me to set up a date and time to have this work done. On the date and time promised, Jeff and Jose from the AC & H of Tampa Bay arrived with the new condenser unit and began the installation process. By the afternoon, my new condenser was up and running. Before Jeff left, he advised me he wanted to schedule a return visit when the outside temperature was warmer to insure the pressures in the unit were correct. He explained the work he did and reassured me that this defective unit was merely an adoration. I fully understand that on occasion any part in a mechanical device can fail. What I must point out was the professionalism displayed by this company from every single employee. They were kind, courtesies and were genuinely interested in getting my HVAC problem repaired. The labor was under an extended warranty I had with AC & H of Tampa Bay along with a warranty from the manufacturer of the condenser unit. All costs associated with the unit and its replacement labor costs were covered by that warranty! A warranty with Air Conditioning & Heating of Tampa Bay means exactly that, they stand by their word and you are covered! This is a family owned and run company and it shows. The are dedicated, professional and most of all HONEST! If you need your HVAC system repaired or a new one installed, these are the people to go to. I highly recommend this company and will continue to hire them when I have HVAC needs! GREAT JOB!

I originally scheduled an AC maintenance…read moreappointment, but on the day of service, after waiting 4.5 hours with no communication at all, I finally received a call saying the technician would not arrive until another 2.5 hours after my scheduled time window. I was understanding about the situation and agreed to reschedule for the following week after being promised I would be the first appointment of the day to make up for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the rescheduled appointment was just as frustrating. With only 15 minutes left in my 8 AM-1 PM appointment window, I still had not heard from anyone and had to contact the company myself. Instead of accountability, I was given excuse after excuse about why the technician did not arrive first as promised. I was even told their internet was down, which was supposedly why nobody contacted me. The lack of communication and reliability from this company is unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase down a business for updates on scheduled services. The only positive part of my experience was the technician himself--he was professional and did a great job. If he freelanced, I would absolutely hire him directly in the future. Unfortunately, because of the poor customer service and repeated scheduling issues, I will not be using 3HAC again.

I turned to Yelp and Garland had wonderful reviews and i always prefer to support small/local businesses. I called the number and was sent a text asking me to text my problem, as he was on a job. I sent a rambling text about what we were experiencing along with our address and he (Seth) said that he would stop by after he finished the current job. I remind you, again, that this is 6:30pm on a Sunday. Seth communicated that he was on the way and he showed up at 8:30pm. Lucky for us (as the dollar signs plagued our daydreams), it was a straightforward fix that cost us a fraction of what we were anticipating. Seth took the time to service our AC and educated us on what we should do/look for to avoid this in the future. He was super personable and we greatly appreciated his customer service and the fact that he did not feel the need to fear-monger us into purchasing something that is unnecessary like so many other companies would. He sent another guy out to check out my system. Fast forward to this summer & I was having a tough time reaching him. I needed new ductwork & I needed the system reinstalled cause it was no longer level. I was in the process of getting estimates when I mentioned Garland air. Well I was talking to a tech when Seth starts texting me. He was on my phone... guess I had accidentally called him. He asked to come out & give me an estimate. I said ok. A few hours later his son showed up who was also very polite. Zeke & Connor crawled under the house & took pics & videos. This was a few days before Christmas. Seth showed up & reviewed everything then gave us an offer. We agreed & he was here at 9am the next morning. They worked all day & night & made sure everything was working great. The next day my husband crawled under the house (old house) to see how it looked. He said it looked very professional. The ducts were tied up off the ground (unlike previous installs) the huge system was completely clean & level. The only thing we had to wait for was the steel cover. The cover finally came in & Seth came to install it today. I was in a meeting so I missed him but he still did a great job. I wanted to update my review because I have had so many terrible AC companies out here. Most of them are unreliable & don't do such great work. The companies that are generally reliable are quite expensive. Garland Air does great work at reasonable prices. I am so glad I accidentally called him that day. I will forever recommend Garland Air. They aren't afraid to get dirty to finish the job. I had at least 5 others out here that gave me estimates for new ductwork yet they never actually looked at the ductwork.
