I wanted to switch bras. I had bought one online, with a slew of coupons, sales, and discounts, it ended up with me paying next to nothing for the items I bought. Not surprising the combination I used since over the course of a year I bought over three thousand dollars worth of merchandise and had racked up quite a few rewards. So I went to exchange a bra for a different size. They pulled up my receipt and told me that since I didn't have a packing slip,I had thrown the wrong one away, they would only give me the credit amount of what I paid for the bra. Never mind that it was a new bra, in a size the stores don't carry -44B- and it still had all the tags on it. I just wanted a difference size. But they fought with me over it and made me really reconsider shopping as much as I do with this brand. In fact by comparison To last year I've maybe spent 500$ vs the few thousand and I have no desire to strike it up again with Torrid solely based on what I experienced with that store. I understand policies. I understand if it was clearance. But it wasn't. Not in their computer. Not when I bought it. I just wanted it exchanged for a different size! Ironically when they finally did process it after threatening to go through customer service one of the girls working out it aside to buy later specifically because that size and style were online exclusives. I dealt with it for a few months, but after November I was done with this location. I turned to online or Grapevine. I could not get over how rude the staff was at this location. My favorite employee there... Can't believe I forgot her name. (Short colorful hair with piercings) she's awesome. There was another one, but she's no longer there. They were the only reason I returned as long as I did. I vowed to never return to this location but my friend was visiting and had never been to Torrid. I recently had a major surgery and wasn't up to riding all the way up Grapevine, but just had to take her to Torrid. I decided to put my issues aside and take her here. Boy was I surprised! From the minute we walked in until The minute we left, we had the BEST Experience. Rachel was there every step of the way and made sure we had everything we needed. There is one person who works there, though, who could use a refresher in how to have a bit more gentle touch with customers, especially if those customers seem to maybe actually know what they're talking about when it comes to their own bra size. Ask them a few questions that 'only those who know would know'-- If they say they've been measured recently and know their size with surety, don't belittle them or keep trying to prove them wrong. Checking in and asking to try on a couple bras felt like the Great Inquisition. I get that they need to ask some questions, but if I know how to answer them & have all of my recent measurements, can I just try on a damn bra please--without being treated like I'm lying or like you need to condescendingly pat me on the head & prove that I don't know what I'm talking about? I am 48 years old and have been measured for bras by professionals and myself (using the abrathatfits calculator on reddit, which is a much more complete & invasive measurement than any bra store will do) multiple times over the years, including less than a month ago. I know what my size was 5 years ago, and I know what my new size is now. I know my UK size & my US size. I know what type & shape of cups & material fit me best and what types don't. I also have very projected, omega shaped bre@sts, which are difficult to fit on the underside. Almost never will a wire sit directly in my inframammary crease, unless the bra is custom made for me. I get that you don't want to waste customers time, want to prevent frustration, and also don't want to possibly damage your inventory...but if I know *exactly* what I need, can I please just try it without having to prove myself or be forced to have you measure me? I swear I am here to actually buy (very expensive) bras from you, not waste either of our time. Not all of us are bra novices. Some of us do actually know what we're talking about, after having to deal with our own giant tatas for the past 35 years. I vaguely remember this happening the last time I visited them at their old location too, I bet it was this same person. The second employee who helped me had a much softer, much friendlier "bedside" manner, and to be honest, I wish she'd been the one to greet me from the start, because the interaction with her left a much better taste in my mouth. Tbh I'm actually hesitant to even go in there again after how it went today, even though I walked out with some bras that fit very well in the size I originally requested. Buying nice bras for large sizes is hard enough, shopping shouldn't feel like this.

Now, you have to be cool with every basic chick carrying your bag, but they are nicer than a Dooney in my opinion. If you are a guy, your wife will probably love these. Great gift and it's way cheaper here to buy one. You can get a Kors at TJ Maxx for $99 to $150, but you are at the mercy of what they have. If you come here, there's ALWAYS a sale, and all my bags have been between $110 and $150, so if you want the newest styles you should come here. Also they have the matching wallet to all bags so if you are extremely weird like me, you'll want the matching wallet too. As for the sales, they vary. If you go around a holiday, you'll get more. I bought one at 20% off plus an additional 20 off that day. Last night because of Easter weekend both MK and Coach were doing 60% off plus 20% on purses and wallets. To make it easier, I'll just tell you they mark the purses up depending on the sale, so Holidays will get you about a 20 to 30 percent discount over a regular sale. Coach (in case you were wondering) purses are priced about the same, and I always look there too since it's right across from here. Most purses there will be around $130 to $170, so it's a tad bit more than an MK, but if you like plain leather Coach is a classic. I'd feel remiss if I didn't point out the reason I've had three MK bags: I've actually had four, and the first was maybe 2.5 years ago. The straps on these purses are notoriously awful. After a half a year, they started breaking down, so any person who's owned a nice bag knows that means the straps loose the outside leather adhesive and start to fray. The first time, I contacted MK and they had me send my purse in and they ended up keeping it because they said it was defective. They gave me $150 credit, which was awesome because it paid for my next purse and half the wallet! I came here and picked out a replacement and got a bigger bag to carry not only all my crap but also my laptop. Less than a year later, same thing happened. Long story short: MK bags have crappy straps. I did a repair myself using leather adhesive and purse paint but that doesn't hold up long. Good news: MK will fix your bag typically for free if you have a receipt, so make sure to get it emailed to you at checkout. Easier to keep up with. Just know a lot of times they'll keep the purse and give you a credit that's typically the amount of the purse. So if you are attached to that purse, don't send it in. Instead take it to a shoe repair place and they'll repair it for around $50. I keep buying them because the customer service is great and the sales here are awesome. If you are in the market for MK or Coach come here. Way cheaper! I'm pleased with my first Kors purchase. I went in today just to look and ended up with a nice purse and matching wallet. Sales associates are friendly and not pushy. I told her what styles I like and she showed me several. I'm most happy that this location runs HUGE sales; today the same purse I was looking at Macy's at for $350 was on sale and 40% off, brining it down to $160. For $250 I got a cute big purse and matching wallet. I'm not a fancy purse person, but I've seen these purses go for much much more. If you are in the market for a Kors purse, I'd go here.

For starters, I own a hotel on the beach and I know the quality that this store carries, it never disappoints so this review is based on customer service. The product sells itself. When I arrived at the water park and realized my swimsuit tie back was left at home and I had no suit, I looked up the nearest store. Despite what my gut said when I called the number 4 minutes before they opened (thinking they won't answer), I called and a friendly voice answered. "This is Denise, how can I help you" point 1. I explained that I was incredibly large breasted and she was happy to help. When I arrived, she went above and beyond to help fit me for the perfect suit. I got two. Her customer service was fantastic and I would recommend this location to anyone with a tricky frame to work with. Good for you Ms. Denise for taking pride in your store. Keep up the good work!
