She was super sad, and when she came back to Beachcomber, the kind woman overheard the story and gave her the new sweatshirt for free. I went directly back to California East. The owner is so friendly, patient, and helpful. She gave me a number of suits to try on based on my preference. Showed me online additional color options and was able to order my suit as it wasn't in stock. The price can be scary, but it's worth it for a good fitting long lasting quality suit! They have everything you'll ever need, including Swedish goggles from the original Swedish company, packaged in Swedish language no less. That was impressive to see. As an added bonus they have autographed memorabilia from notable swimmers on the walls, along with inspirational swimming posters you don't see anywhere else; sort of like a shrine to swimming. If you are in the market for a new bathing suit, try this store out. Be prepared that prices do not seem at all like outlet prices, and you will end up spending well over $100 for one suit, but if it is something you are willing to invest in (knowing you are getting a good quality suit), well worth the trip and money. Side note: Apparently from the other reviewer, you cannot return the suits. I did not notice this policy. It would have been nice to know this at the register (verbally) before I bought it.
