I deal with contractors everyday so I've got the patience to deal with them. We had used this gentlemen before and didn't have a problem. On this occasion we were getting a building re-keyed and he was in the middle of doing the job with my wife there while he did it. He received another call where some folks were locked out of their home. So he left our job in the middle to go help those folks. After a number of hours while my wife was waiting he returned to do the job. On his return he completed the job of rekeying the building or so we thought. My wife didn't check the work for she had already been there to long already waiting for him to return from the other job he went to do while doing ours. We found that the keys didn't work almost immediately but we didn't contact John to have it straightened out for almost a month for we're exceptionally busy. When we contacted him to get it straight he said that in order to get it done there would be a cost associated with this for it wasn't his problem. Don't really have to say anything further in this situation but I can say if I built someone a home saying it's not my problem isn't the way to handle it. No, apology nothing. Hence the review.

Due to working, I was unavailable to answer at that exact time. 2) As I explained to your wife, I had a family event planned after work Sat, so planned to call her back Monday AM. 3) I received a snippy voicemail approx 10AM SUNDAY wondering "why I wasn't answering the phone b/c she was trying to schedule the key fob programming." (???)- I was IN CHURCH AT THAT TIME!! (I explained that too). 4) After church & lunch on Sun, I called your wife BACK early afternoon Sunday! She very abruptly stated she "didn't have her schedule in front of her, couldn't deal with it" & was at the hospital w/ her father in law. I told her I understood, no problem, was so sorry to hear about her FIL. I explained I'd been in church so missed her call & asked her to please call me back when things settled/ were better. She said you guys wanted to/ could conduct the key service at my home. I explained I'd feel more comfortable at a public place if she didn't mind (post office, dealership, etc). Her tone changed IMMEDIATELY and she became irritated. I wished her good luck for her FIL & said I hoped it all worked out. She said she'd call back. 5) Did not hear back. Fearing the worst for your family member, I chose to RESPECT your family privacy in case it ended badly. 7) The following Monday, after STILL NO RESPONSE, I called the business # asking if I could please leave a message for your wife to please call me back at her earliest convenience. You tore into me IMMEDIATELY (my husband was witness!!) and proceeded to tell me "We're not dealing with you because we don't want to do it, you're too much trouble and we don't like your attitude." I said "Whoa, whoa- what?? I have no idea what you're talking about!!" I reiterated what had transpired and you hung up on me! My husband called you back to calmly discuss the situation. You proceeded to tell him lies and he CALLED YOU OUT ON IT b/c HE HEARD EVERY WORD said between us!! You then cursed, repeated "not wanting to deal with it" and alleging I "had an attitude." (??- because I asked nicely to leave a message for your wife? What in the world?). My husband calmly asked you to describe what or how I allegedly "had an attitude."
