Not the best or worst car wash I've ever experienced. I went early on a Saturday afternoon when there was no wait so that was nice. The outside of the car looked clean after, but not sparkling. The inside didn't need much work, but I enjoy a car wash where you sit down afterwards and you KNOW the inside was vacuumed, dusted, and scrubbed down. The weather mats were cleaned and the sand was gone, but it didn't have that fresh, just-washed smell or feel. Based on my experience here, this place is good for a quick convenience wash, but not much more than that. read more

Awful car wash. Thought the 10-15 minute wait would have been worth it. Not exactly sure what they did the whole time. Car had towel fuzz all over it, didn't fully buff anything out, and dried water marks. I was looking at all of this in front of the guy and he came back as if he knew exactly what was there and what I was looking at. He used his towel to dust off the fuzz and then walked away. There is new equipment and new brushes I hope that a lot of people get to use this place and I am considering a retake or a redo because the conveyor did not push my car the second time I am willing to let them try again hoping that the conveyor pushes my car through the tunnel and I can use the whole car wash. The equipment looks great and the chemical provider must be Simoniz. This car wash looks amazing I will definitely go back and try it again freedom car wash is the new name. read more

I've always had a good experience with this place until today. The name changed, the workers changed and the service changed. I got the $40 package today as I usually do. For $40 I went through the car wash and all they did was dry and vacuum my car. In the past, for $40 they would dry it, vacuum, and clean the entire interior. Extremely disappointed. Well, have you ever been held responsible for someone else's mistake when you were paying for a service? ...if you haven't had the opportunity yet and would like it, I encourage you to spend your hard earned dollars at Some Guy's Car Wash in Patchogue. I just took my brand new 2020 Subaru Crosstrek to get a car wash at this location and what happened next feels like it belongs in a SitCom. I asked for their top end car wash, a $40 car wash plus tax that includes the works. The employees manage to lock my keys in the car while it is running on the automatic track system. The car reaches the end of the automated washing system and I get told the news. However, in a turn for the bizarre, after telling them I do not want them to have to break into my car, that I want a ride home to get my other key, I get a phone call from the owner of the car wash saying, "I can't hold up my car wash for a half hour while you go home and get your key (I live 5 minutes away), I would let these guys do this to my own car...THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME." After the employees break into my car and move it out to complete cleaning it, I notice some scratches on the "B" pillar of my car, go in and ask for my money back. A couple moments later another employee walks up to me and says, "you didn't pay, we're not washing your car." I walk in to ask if this is true and it is confirmed by the cashier. So, in summary: I bring my car in and pay for a service, I pay for said service, the company makes a mistake, the company causes damage to my property, the company refunds my money without an apology, the company doesn't complete what you came for in the first place. This place in an absolute JOKE. Stay as far away from this place as you can. Awful Carwash- lots of options, don't pick this one. I paid for a Mack Daddy 38.00 car wash. My car sat for 20 minutes without anyone touching it. When I complained, the owner had a terrible attitude and out of spite had the guys rush through the car and it looked worse then before I brought it there. I have informed all my family and freinds. This place is the best I don't understand why people think when they bring there car to a cash wash they think it's going to come out brand new think again. Clean your car at home if you think your going to do better job. The absolute worst! A total RIP off! [NOTE: I couldn't give NO STARS so I had to select 1] I went yesterday for the first time and got the "Average Joe" carwash. After a 45 minute wait I got right in my truck and went home where I gave my truck a good look. I basically had to re-wash the truck by hand. Let also state my truck wan't that dirty, just needed a regular simple cleaning. They did NOT wipe down the door jams or the door thresholds, and my dash was still dusty. The carpet & mats were VERY POORLY vaccuumed with plenty of dirt still there. The windows were streaked. When I drove last night they were cloudy and difficult to see through! I decided to call & speak to a manager, who wasn't there. I told the woman on the phone why I was calling and she didn't even react, didn't even attempt to apologize for my dissatisfaction! She just said call back tomorrow. Being that today is a holiday and feeling like it is a lost cause anyway I didn't call. Don't waste your time going here, just up the road is the Bluepoint Car wash. Try there instead. They ain't perfect but they look like rockstars compared to Some Guys Carwash that has no business washing cars! read more

Do not go here. Went and paid for the Mack daddy and got the average Joe. my interior was barely cleaned and they didn't bother to open my trunk and clean that. Contacted them and they told me to bring it back and they were sorry. Brought it back and they did an even worse job then the first time. Had to open the trunk myself and point out that it wasn't cleaned a second time. My dash was not cleaned again. As i was sitting waiting another customer came back because his car was not cleaned properly as well. reached out to them a second time but with no response from them. Defiantly will never be going back there again. Waste of time and money. read more

Do not go, they do not know how to handle busy times, and they stack cars up and do not keep track which one came first. Went today and my car was not towered dry, Windows needed to be rewashed when I got home and when I asked why others cars they came out of the wash after mine were being done before mine, the answer was we are busy and we are only human. I've been to the North Babylon location numerous times and have nothing but great things to say! Patchogue had a lot of work to do. Waited for 20 minutes before someone began detailing the inside. Back windows were not cleaned and tires were not shined (paid for a #2). Completely understaffed. Very disappointed with both of my visits here. I'll take the longer ride to North Babylon. read more
