Not only do they have the best burgers we have tasted- they have the best fries ever too!!! The fries are homemade and salted to perfection. Burgers all were unique and so delicious. Best burger flavor ever, juicy, meaty, just wow! Bun is great as well. True to to their name- they have amazing pickles !!!! In regular form and fried pickle form. All amazing. Bloody Mary- presentation and toppings wonderful. The mix was very seasoned and very thick. It was not our favorite. I think the only thing that was lacking was there was only one waitress for all the tables and I felt bad she was running around and seemed very new. Might have been an off day. But we didn't mind waiting and enjoying the vibe.

Had lunch here today. Sat at the bar. Bar is cute - very much an up north WI vibe. I ordered the…read moremushroom & Swiss burger with fries, and my husband ordered the patty melt with fries. We were enjoying our drinks and the bartender came out and told us he only had 1 burger left. This was before 1 pm on a Sunday. I looked at the menu and switched to the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Both meals were great, but...the bite I had of my husband's patty melt was amazing. I need to come back and get a burger. The owner told us 2 Milwaukee DJs were up this weekend and they ended up getting tons of business, hence, they ran out of burgers. I understand how they won best burger a few years ago. May need to also try their Friday fish fry. Check them out!

When my college buddy is in town for a visit we always like to hit up one of the local breweries…read more The Rhinelander Brewing Company is one that we hadn't yet been to, so the last time he was here we decided to give it a try. They offer everything one would expect from a small craft brewery, both in terms of style and pour sizes -- everything from tastes, to flights, to small seven ounce pours (shorties), to a full pint. I had shortie pours of their lager and IPA. The lager was light and refreshing but not thin and watery (think "lite beer"). The IPA was lightly hopped compared to many IPAs on the market these days -- which I thought was good -- one can taste and enjoy the hops without being overpowered by them. The taproom is located in a storefront on the downtown main street. The decor has an "up north vibe" but I wouldn't say it is attractive or coherent in style. There's a bunch of historical memorabilia on display hearkening back to the old days when every town had its own local brewery -- which in this town was (of course) The Rhinelander Brewery. The staff was friendly and could readily talk about their products. The Rhinelander Brewery is not that much different from hundreds of other small craft brew taprooms around the country, so I'll stick with three stars, which for me means average -- but totally acceptable -- in terms of everything one would expect from an establishment like this. Every town should have a place like this.

Feels more like a clothing store than a brewery taproom. The beers is average. Nothing was stood…read moreout to me. Nice history of the original Rhinelander brewery. One is like a small museum. It's right downtown. Street parking. Very small brewery.
