He came and helped me find the collar I needed. I asked if they had the joint supplement I gave my dog (clearly missed a few things packing this weekend) and though they didn't have my specific one they were able to recommend another one that was plenty close. Great experience shopping here, the staff was helpful in finding me what I needed and prices good. I'll be back here next time I'm in town and need something for my doggie.

The owners are amazing, you can tell they are passionate about their business and your pets. They know the regulars when they come in. They offer fun events every so often like pictures with Santa. They carry the premium dog food that we feed our two dogs - Fromm - and have an excellent loyalty program. Pricing is on par with online retailers but I love the local experience and the loyalty programs far outweigh what I was getting online so I exclusively buy from them now. This is more of a boutique store so they don't carry every brand of food, but it works well for us. They always offer to help me carry the large bags to my car. Grooming - we come in for nail grinds. My dogs are terrible about getting their nails done so I love that they offer this service. I've made appointments, but have also been able to pop in or cal ahead without waiting more than a few minutes for this quick service. I like that they have a window to the back grooming area so I can watch and know my boys are not being harmed or uncomfortable in any way during their pedicures! :)

Don't be tempted by the shiny new Uber Pet Stores with their large space but limited selection. if you know your fish, you will visit Adam's regularly. He imports his own stuff and sells uncommon and good sized animals. North jersey aquarium society members get a discount, too. His frozen and live food selection is unmatched in the State. Adam's is also one of the few pet shops left that sells rare reptiles and amphibians. Plus other small mammals. Adam knows his stuff like few else can, and trains his staff, unlike most Chains with revolving door workers. You will also find a wider variety of brands than at chain stores. His specialty dog and cat foods bring customers from around the area. Don't let the look of a traditional locally owned pet store deceive you. This is the real deal here and worth a visit. If you want to make a day of it, I would advise a morning or late afternoon visit to Willowood in Chester, arguably NJ's nicest botanical garden. It's an old estate including a walking trail through its woods and streams. Lots of trees and plants and flowers you don't see anywhere else. Then grab a bite in historic downtown (amazing charcoal burger at The Public House) and visit Adam's.

This place is dirty, disgusting, and full of dead fish in the tanks, dirtier than you even want to imagine. Petco is luxury at treating their animals compared to this crap hole. The cashier was very helpful in ringing up the purchase, and provided helpful suggestions for planting the tree. While we spoke in the store she radioed a team member to tie up the branches for ease of transport. The gentleman put plastic wrap down to keep the car interior clean and braced the bucket with rocks to keep the tree from rolling while driving. I am pleased with the knowledge and service at Hoffmans. They always have quality plants.

The staff is super helpful, as I am constantly learning about my babies, and asks about how they are doing every time I come in for new toys and food.
