Don is so incredibly kind and patient. His interaction with us is so informative to help us understand Melo's needs. Ranging from wellness to nutrition, including dog food, snacks, peanut butter, and clothing. The services are awesome and very reasonably priced and it never feels chaotic like some other grooming locations we have gone to. Grooming takes one hour, yes one hour not the 3 hours like other places, and he looks and feels so energetic when he's done. We picked him up, he was wearing a new blue bandana -- too cute. I would definitely recommend Maxwell & Molly's Closet - Pet Boutique. Even Mr. Bitondo took a few minutes between deliveries to talk to us. Everyone is thoughtful, caring, and not only they did a great job for our Melo, but they also help us being well-educated parents!

We spoke to them explained that our dog was a bit skiddish when it came to bath time and that he wasn't overly friendly with other dogs. The problem is that customers shouldn't have to make another trip because services that were requested and documented weren't completed. When you're driving to drop off and pick up your dog, you expect everything to be done correctly the first time, especially when it's already noted in your dog's file. Another inconvenience is the payment process. They do not accept credit or debit cards and instead require payment through Zelle or by check, which felt unusual and less convenient than most businesses. What was also disappointing was that no refund, credit, or discount on a future visit was offered. Instead, we were simply told to return to have it corrected. Unfortunately, based on our experiences, we will not be returning.

I wanted a birthday treat for my doggie, and he oriented me to all the food selection that was in there. Helpfully, he pointed me to a cupcake, appropriately small for my 12 lb schnoodle. After asking for me to share photos of my dog, he packed the cupcake with a free candle and extra homemade treats. I felt taken care of, which is much more than I could've hoped for. They've been in Sparta for almost five years, and before that they were at Lake Mohawk. Service and experiences like this deserve your patronage.
