In two days I sat in a chair while they went completely through every nook and cranny in my home and with my direction divided all of my furniture and belongings into 3 groups- things I would keep, things they would donate, and trash which will be removed when I have the whole house emptied. They worked non-stop and clearly labeled all of the items that I would take. They offered sound advice on what I should bring but didn't dictate their opinion. He said Fuck you man, Your furniture is supposed to be delivered to Sacramento, what if I make it so you will never see your shit?" I said what did I do wrong? I only wanted to know about my stuff" He hung up on me and I called the transportation department. The lady was really nice. She heard me out and said they would then send me paperwork. I think she listened to me but had no substance or input that could help my situation. Writing letters to go with the other thousands of letters sent by others, just to stack up in a corner in a office. She did not speak of anyone calling or talking to this company. I fill everyone that sends or has a complaint falls on death ears. I think anyone that is moving should use Pods/ Packrat or other companies where you load it yourself and where there are ko hidden fees. No payment for people having to walk or drivers lying about not being able to fit down your street so they charge you thousands of dollars more to mov your stuff to a smaller truck. These things need to be in the front of the conversation not hidden on the bottom of the 3rd page, in small writing not meant for you to understand. All of these companies should be disbanded. Or there should be standard contracts that are created by the government. Not by these Crooks. If you move your stuff yourself you would have less broken things. We wanted to make sure the house was pristine when we brought him home, and WOW did they deliver! Even though we were cutting it close, they were willing to work out their schedule to accommodate us in time, which was a real lifesaver because my son arrived almost two weeks early! We've continued with their service for about a year now, and they've been consistently wonderful, not only in terms of the quality of the clean but also in terms of the interpersonal engagements with Jenn, the owner, as well as her entire team. Our schedule sometimes calls for some extra flexibility, which Jenn's team is always able to accommodate, and no matter which members of the team end up on our schedule we know we're in good hands. Recently, Jenn and her partner Jerry came along on our cleaning as they orientating a couple recent additions to the team. From my home office, I could hear Jerry giving guidance and tips and was impressed with the little addition insights and touches that Top 2 Bottom brings to the process. Towards the end of the cleaning, I took the dogs for a walk and carried them up to a bathroom to dry their feet since I wanted to maintain the perfect clean. While I was toweling off their feet, my eye was drawn to the shower in a way you'd only see in a movie or a meme; it was mostly behind me, but out of the corner of my eye the shine of the clean struck me. It was such a simple thing but WOW it really blew me away how bright and clean the grout was. When I headed to the nursery, I found a great surprise which I snapped a photo of and was about to send to my wife when I realized I should let her discover it for herself. I had a work engagement that evening, and was en route when I got the call from my wife. Our son's Mickey and Minnie Mouse had been staged to look like they were reading together in the nursery chair. It was the sort of "surprise and delight" touch that Disney World itself aspires to, and it really did surprise and delight my wife. While selecting a roofer was difficult, we couldn't be happier with the service and product we received from John and Matthew at JJD Urethane. John's manner is professional, helpful, and easy. He provided an honest assessment of the work needed to replace our roof. He assured us he would take care to protect our property (including 1500 square feet of new glass we just completed installing) and our neighbors' properties from overspray. He gave us options for foam depth, color, and coatings. He reviewed all decision points with us. His approach was a very different than those of the other contractors we met with. His price was reasonable - neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. But it's the work that matters, after all, and every aspect of that work, start to finish, has absolutely exceeded our expectations. John kept in touch with us before, during, and after the job. We always felt comfortable calling and asking him questions. He took great care preparing our property, thoroughly cleaning the roof surface before doing any spraying, and covering our pond to keep our fish protected. He sprayed carefully and accurately, addressing all of the ponding issues on our existing roof. He worked efficiently without rushing. He cleaned up overspray when the work was complete. He and his people are polite and professional. On the couple of occasions that we've contacted John since he completed our roof (now almost five years ago), it has been a pleasure talking with him.
