Only wrapped in cellophane. All of the brown sugar was at the bottom of the bun, in the cellophane. When asked if they could warm it, the staff member pointed to a microwave on the counter. The microwave warmed it some, but didn't help the flavor, or the lack there of. Without spreading the icing, they gave you in a cup with the bun, it would've had little flavor at all. Overall it was good. However, better customer service could be improved. This place is not cheap. Two black coffee's, a breakfast cup, slice of quiche with a muffin, and a cinnamon bun was 40 bucks. Plus a tip on top. It's more like a Starbucks with more choices. However, Starbucks will warm up your bun.
