I've visited sunrise every time that I come to titusville to visit my parents. Every single time the food and coffee are absolutely impeccable. The quality in every item offered is undeniable; ultimately that's why I continue to visit. However, I have to express my distaste for the costumer service. I came in today and I got great service from the blonde guy who rung me up. However, the rainbow haired barista seemed to be very stressed out with the Sunday rush. Multiple people received both their drink and their food orders before me, and while I don't mind waiting, I asked to just confirm that my food was being worked on. The barista was very curt and especially not happy to deal with me when I had to ask again if my smoothie was being worked on. I totally understand the breakfast rush can be stressful, and dealing with a long list of orders can be a lot to deal with, but I was not impressed by the communication skills of the barista. I also didn't appreciate how she was speaking to her coworkers. Regardless, the food and coffee speaks for itself so I will be returning! I just hope that she's able to learn to communicate with kindness, especially when nothing but patience and understanding was given. read more

There's a lot left to be desired when it comes to Sunrise Bread Company. I think this place is a local favorite because it's a cozy cafe and a great spot to hang out. However, the food is very bland and not worth the price. I've had several of their sandwiches before and it's always something I could've made better at home. The coffee is also not mind-blowingly good. If you are in the area, I would recommend Pier 13's coffee instead. They are next door to Sunrise and the coffee is way better and not watered down. In terms of service, Sunrise can be slow on the weekends but it's usually fine on the weekdays. I recommend parking in the downtown Titusville parking lot and walking over since parking is hard to find in front of the cafe. read more

Okay, so either I'm a glutton for punishment--or just hopelessly addicted to Shark Week. I saw a limited-time Shark Week flight and themed treats, and despite some past customer service mishaps, I couldn't resist giving it another shot. I mean... Shark Week! And let me just say--they did not disappoint. First off, the woman working the register around lunchtime was an absolute gem. I wish I had caught her name because she was genuinely kind and welcoming, a refreshing change from previous visits. We ordered a muffin and an açaí bowl to start--both were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely hit the spot. But the star of the show was the Shark Week flight. Two lemonade-style drinks that were vibrant and refreshing, plus two coffee-based drinks that were bold and smooth. It was such a fun and creative twist--and yes, totally worth it. One more thing I have to mention: they have a board on the wall with little sayings and notes about the owners, and one in particular stood out to me--it said something about veterans and free coffee. As a veteran myself, I absolutely love that they go out of their way to support the veteran community. That alone earns them major points in my book. So hats off to Sunrise Bread Company this time. Food: I had the BLT & a small black and...I was pleased. A lot of places go skinny on the bacon , they did not. It was a well rounded portion. The sandwich wasn't too small nor was it more than necessary. Service: Counter service. Friendly enough and my order was prepared in a reasonable time but, I don't believe in tipping for counter service and find it quite presumptuous to feel you deserve one or to ask for one at the counter. Ambiance: it's a comfortable place, not to loud and not so quiet that you odd for making a chair squeak. I grew up coming to Sunrise and continue to love their food. However, within the recent years whenever we go the customer service has been lacking. We will come in and the person ahead of us will be helped but then once they are finished it takes a good while before we even are ask if we would like anything. Sometimes we have waited so long without being acknowledged, even though workers are just standing around chatting, that we have left. Even today when we went, while we were standing at the cash register to order, a barista asked the guy behind us what he wanted to drink and ignored us. read more

Only ordered a lemon poppyseed muffin, which was average in flavor and a little dry but huge in size, and a cinnamon roll which was the size of my kids head but that was really good. We walked in and I fell in love! Ambiance is really cool! I loved the upcycled tables, chairs, etc. Downstairs is set up more for families, including the playhouse built in under the stairs! The upstairs is much larger and for adults only. There are couches, chairs, larger gathering tables and little nooks. There is even a library of books for settling in! You have to walk through the tables to order. Staff seemed nice. It was a bit of a wait to get our food, but worth it! My dad had the spicy breakfast sandwich with bacon and I had a sesame bagel sandwich with turkey sausage. Both had egg and cheese. Both were very yummy! They did come out pretty flat so appears to use a panini press for them. This was my first visit here. My husband raves about it for a long time and we were in the area so we stopped by. There's a good selection of food, both sweet and savory. There's even doggie treats! My daughter and I came in for Mother's Day. To have some great quality time upstairs in the lounge. I've been here multiple times. Was just here on Friday and now again on Sunday. On Friday the cashier was not pleasant. But everyone can have bad days. But today was a different cashier and again terrible attitude. I wanted to eat allllllll the carbs. I handled myself, and ordered an egg-cheese-and bacon sandwich on wheat bread. The bacon was nice and crunchy and there was a good portion. The seasonal caramel brulee shooter tickled all of my caffeine receptors. My son enjoyed the banana pudding and his cake pop. The inside has a ton of seating. The upstairs area seems to be more geared toward a quiet crowd, as the stairs say "no children please", very understandable. Rating based on bread and pastry product availability and quality, employee interactions, and community care. Personally, I have not experienced their coffee as I prefer the coffee shop next door. However due to lack of food options I come to Sunrise for bagels, scones, loaves, dog treats, etc. It can be frustrating if new to this place, as they are seemingly always out of bagels before 11 am. I'm writing this at 10:58 am and purchased the last sesame bagel out of a selection of otherwise plain and wheat. Previous trips here have been very similar, in fact one instance I was lucky enough to order the last Tuscan cheese before 9 am. The Tuscan cheese bagel alone keeps my hopes high when I walk in; it's my personal favorite. The sesame bagel, everything bagel, and onion bagel were all great choices. The bread is light and airy with a slight spring to it. Out of the cheese roll options, I like the jalapeño cheese roll the best but the pepperoni one is great too. I find the opposite in the loaf options for jalapeño cheddar bread versus pepperoni cheddar bread. My dogs liked the dog treat cookies they sell. The salted caramel scone is really good but I didn't care for the raspberry one. I gave 3 stars for community care. They don't and neither do 95% of customers wear masks or follow social distancing or any covid conscious protocols. I don't really like that there is a communal toaster during a pandemic, but this is Titusville where the pandemic is not observed by most the residents. However they do provide hand sanitizer. Overall, an okay place for bread items in Titusville. read more

Just moved to Titusville about two month ago and found this awesome place with delicious food and a great vibe. However there is one huge drawback--customer service and the lack of friendliness of the employees who work there. I had been going there at least two to three times a week and only on one occasion the person who took my order was actually friendly. It feels like they all hate to be there on a normal day. My last straw was when I ordered an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and the woman behind the counter tossed a bag to me with my bagel and cream cheese and told me to use the toaster beside the counter. We have gotten scones, sandwiches, and a variety of drinks. Everything and I mean everything has been great so far. There are plenty of non dairy options for drinks and a wide variety of choices for food. Next time we are wanting to try the homemade bread because it all looks delicious as well!
