If you're a trinket collector, this place may be your heaven, or hell since you'll be burning all your money away. I kid you not, every time I come the blind box section gets bigger and bigger. The selection is truly endless.

I find it similar to Daiso but with slightly higher prices and much more variety. This store is located at West on West (WoW) on Westheimer which holds several Asian-centric businesses like KBBQ, Japanese sushi, cake and bakery shops, and more. The store is quite large and the aisles are decent sized when it comes to comfortably shopping. You'll see lots of shoppers that come and go in groups whether they're family or friends, but all are very shop curious, as Teso has such a variety of items. It takes time to explore all the things but it is fun to discover unique items you likely won't find elsewhere. The aisles are very well stocked with sweet and savory snacks like cookies, crackers, chips, nuts, dried seafood, chocolates, candies, ice cream etc. They also have a huge wall of specialty drinks in the far back, where you'll also find things like 3D puzzles and toys that are not typical. There's also a row of claw arcade machines in the back so have your hand at the claw if you'd like. There's also a wide variety of beauty items that are Japanese heavy including face masks, mascara, fake lashes, hair dye, and lip sticks. Stationary that is cute and useful is also in abundance. Overall, it's a fun store to shop and stock up on some useful household items and some hard-to-find goods that are great for yourself or a gift to others.

This shop is an absolute gem for anyone into Korean skincare…read more Blooming Cosmetics carries several of my favorite K-beauty brands (including Biodance, Anua, Beauty of Joseon, Medicube, and Mixsoon,) all in one place. It's refreshing to see such a well-curated selection, especially brands that are actually effective and highly regarded rather than just trendy. The store itself is a quaint little shop tucked away off Bellaire, easy to miss if you're not looking for it, but definitely worth seeking out. The employee I interacted with was friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful (not pushy) just knowledgeable and willing to answer questions, which I really appreciate when shopping for skincare. Pricing felt average overall, with a few items leaning slightly higher depending on the product. That said, for the convenience of buying in person, knowing the products are authentic, and being able to get guidance if needed, it's absolutely worth it, especially when you're serious about taking care of your skin and not gambling with questionable online sellers. If you're into K-beauty or looking to upgrade your skincare routine with trusted brands, this is a spot you'll want to keep on your list. I'll definitely be back.

Vicki, the sales associate, is so informative and helpful with many recommendations. She has a passion for skincare and we could talk skincare all day! I love that they have testers for a lot of their products. I went with the Beauty of Joseon spf, Mediheal sheet masks and vitamin c pads! Customer service is top notch and I look forward to coming back here to purchase more skincare!

I was in search of the face shop's white seed product line and was able to find the exfoliant wash I've been using and the toner as well. (The Katy location was missing the exfoliant wash.) I was also happy to see that I could get the innisfree green tea product line. The serum and eye cream are so refreshing on the face, highly recommend. I also purchased the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen that I've been hearing a lot of buzz about. Will see how good it is. These products are definitely cheaper if bought in Korea, but the face shop will do until my next trip out there. I was given a choice between two samples - acne or anti-aging. Kinda sucks that you only get 1 free sample after spending over $40+ in comparison to in Korea they give you lots and lots of samples. But I will return to this location for sure.
