This place is next to the Pepr'mint Stick. It is at the corner of Yakima St and 1st St. This place is CRAMMED FULL of '60s, '70s and '80s era collectibles. The owner is friendly and enthusiastic about his items. I will be back. http://www.that70sshoppe.com/About70s.php

Called from Seattle to Gretchen's in Yakima and they sent me pictures of 8 great summer dresses…read more Loved them all and bought 3! Wearing them all the time this summer. Great selection, great fit and super service. Thank you.

We had just finished wine tasting near Yakima and we wanted to do some shopping before dinner. A pet peeve of mine is that many stores on the east side of the state are not open after the wineries close (at 5 or 6pm) and closed on Sunday. I really don't get this, everyone needs a day off and time for church, but I wonder if the stores would be more successful if Monday was their day off instead of Sunday when the tourists are in town. Anyways, I digress, Gretchen was just closing at 5 pm and we drove up and she stayed open for us. I found a gorgeous knit dress in two seconds and ended up buying a great sweater for work and fabulous scarf in addition. Gretchen was so nice and easy to talk to as I looked through her tastful clothing. She suggested some items for me to try (really cute) and we talked about brands that we love. If you are going to be in Yakima - do not miss this boutique! Also, please note that although the address above is correct, iphone did not take me directly to the store but had me turn onto 8th. Be patient and drive around the block until you find it - you won't regret it!

Since Yelp wants is suggesting that I write a review of this place…read more.. There's only one reason for me to stop at Kohl's during a road trip. It's not because I have a Amazon return. Kohl's cash or their coupons have nothing to do with it. The clearance section where things are 75% off have nothing to do with it. I stop at Kohl's all across the country because they have the cleanest restrooms out of the places that my wife has approved me to stop at. This Kohl's was no exception, at least for the men's restroom. My wife and daughter did not complain. It was a bonus when one of the friendly employees told me that I should try Miner Drive in for lunch. The only thing this Kohl's needed was a "map" up front so that we didn't have to circle the entire store looking for the restroom.

The shoe selection here, while a bit sporadic, is usually solid. They tend to have a good selection of athletic shoes and more than likely, you'll be able to find something pretty inexpensive. It can also be a good place to go try on shoes and then shop on Amazon and see if there something for a better deal. Given the Number of 20% off coupons that you can usually find online, it's actually pretty rare to find something much less expensive on Amazon. I'm a big fan of paying the extra two dollars and being able to wear something home. Good spot, decent prices, a nice place to go when you need something relatively soon. What's not to love!
