    Mahi sandwich.
    Raj S.

My two boys, my wife and I ordered dinner from here at 5:30 tonight and they said it would be ready around 7:15 but it wasn't ready until 7:45. I get the wait because it's summer. But after driving back home we were underwhelmed by the food. Three of us ordered old bay fries but only one person got them. My wife and I got sandwiches with no toppings. Any other place we order sandwiches from they ask if you want lettuce, tomato, etc. Disappointing because we were all so hungry and it was $80. Lesson learned.

Lobster Roll with Old Bay Fries

Absolutely delicious! The Old Bay fries were the best we've ever had--crispy, flavorful, and addicting. The warm lobster roll, served on perfectly toasted bread, was buttery and packed with tender lobster. We also loved the Bam Bam spicy shrimp--just the right amount of heat and flavor. The crab cakes were full of real crab and cooked to perfection, and the broiled flounder and scallops were fresh and beautifully seasoned. We truly loved every bite!

Reallyyyy solid lobster roll spot! Got ours hot and buttered with fries and really enjoyed everything. Service was quick but food itself took a while so keep in mind you may have a 20+ min wait. Plenty of outdoor seating and cute but minimal indoor area. Definitely recommend!

A generous portion of fresh lobster meat doused in melted butter folded inside a warm, toasted bun and served with a side of crispy old bay fries. Perfect dinner at the shore.

First time in this town so I checked Yelp for a review and it did not disappoint. This takeout place has a cute little spot outside on a patio if you like to eat there. You order and pay inside and they bring your meal to you. I ordered the crab cake dinner which had a little spicy kick to it, barely any fillers. It was one of the best I have ever had. Hubby had the grilled ahi tuna served rare, which he also enjoyed! We ate on the patio and since it is BYOB we brought wine and a corkscrew.

    Chicken Alfredo and $25 salad.
    Meg S.

Took an hour and 15 minutes on a Monday night for a $25 salad, chicken Alfredo with no taste, a flounder sandwich, and three kids meals. They didn't put the order in clearly but then didn't admit it, just kept saying it would be another minute. We literally all just remarked "I hate when I eat dinner and don't feel full." Avoid.

Ordered takeout and was stunned at the huge size of the lobster roll and fish sandwich! Both were so good, lobster roll had so much meat it was hard to finish. Highly recommend, can't wait to come back!

Good food but the slowest place ever. Waiting more than an hour from my pickup time. Not right.

The hot lobster roll lives up to its hype-- overflowing with claw meat in a buttery toasty brioche bun and super crispy fries.

The food was good! We enjoyed sitting at the outdoor tables. It was solid beach seafood fare. Clean and well run.

The lobster rolls are delicious and so much meat in the roll. Their clams on the 1/2 are very fresh .

We had preordered the three-tier afternoon tea, which included individual pots of tea chosen by each guest, so there was truly something for everyone. We enjoyed Paris , peppermint, and English Breakfast, all Harney and Sons teas. The three-tier stand was beautifully filled. The first tier featured delicious quiche, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, and spanakopita, with one of each item for every person. The second tier held two buttery, perfectly sweet scones for each guest. The top tier was dedicated to desserts and did not disappoint. We enjoyed Parisian chocolate cake, cheesecake, key lime cake, and chocolate chip cannolis. Everything was fresh, moist, and absolutely delicious. We were able to relax and enjoy each other's company without ever feeling rushed. It was a wonderful experience, and I'm grateful to have such a lovely place for afternoon tea in the neighborhood.

The…read moreservice was lacking in that we were asked our preference for water and they only offered if we wanted frizzante or still water, and not an option for tap water. Thinking the still water was tap water we chose that option not knowing the water was $9 a bottle. So we were very surprised to see a $27 water bill. Maybe this was unintentional but they clearly omitted the offer for tap water. what was an enjoyable dining experience was somewhat tarnished by this.

Most of this time was spent waiting on the one server to circle back to us. She was a friendly and pleasant waitress, but does not have the skill to juggle tables effectively. The food was tasty. I loved the featured salad. Unfortunately they don't allow you to share entrees, which I find very odd. For an Italian restaurant, not being able to order for the table is a strange limitation. Also $30 for gnocchi is kind of crazy. The restaurant has a nice vibe. I'm sure it's lively and fun during the summer. Off season, it feels overpriced and not attentive enough to return. We also waited 20 minutes to pay our bill before we saw a "pay on your phone" option under the folded section. We then paid and left. Overall a really unfortunate experience.

However, it almost felt like this restaurant was trying its hardest to make me dislike it despite the delicious food. The hostess seemed to forget about us after we checked in for our reservation and seated several other parties that came after us. After about 10 minutes, I went back up to check on our table and the hostess seemed to have forgotten that we spoke earlier and asked me if I needed anything. We were promptly seated after that. Not really a problem by itself. Our server was very nice and did a great job of convincing us to order the pasta special. We put both items in at once and ate the complimentary bread while we waited. We asked to split the two meals, and they were very accommodating and split the salad in the kitchen for us. The pasta came out on one plate and we had to split it ourselves. There seemed to be sauce under the table from a previous diner that got rubbed onto my shirt. I went to the bathroom to clean it off, only to discover there was no soap. There were at least 4 other people in the bathroom at the same time as me, and to think no one coming out had washed their hands was pretty gross. Anyway, the most expensive pasta on the menu was around $40, so I figured the special would be around that price. Complete rookie mistake on my part for not asking the price before ordering, but I was shocked to receive the bill that our plate of rigatoni and 3 shrimp, 3 scallops, and maybe an ounce of crab meat was $56. Other reviews mention this, but please be aware of the absurd markup on the specials before ordering!! It took an hour for our food to arrive and no one came to check on us during that time or refill our waters, and no one came to check on us after we received our food, only when we were ready for the bill. Our server was nice but not attentive. I tipped what I believed to be a reasonable 15%, considering the disappointing service and very expensive special. In fact, it would've been a 23% tip if we ordered the next most expensive pasta on the menu. But anyway, I was under the impression that 15% is an acceptable amount to tip for mediocre service. I was shocked when our server chased us down on the sidewalk outside the restaurant and confronted us. She was upset that we tipped less than 20% (her words). I told her that I was disappointed by the service and price but really enjoyed the food itself. She just walked away. I spent many years working in food service, and the other person I was eating with currently works in food service, and the two of us were appalled by the complete lack of professionalism. It is never acceptable to chase after a customer. You would've thought we didn't tip at all. It's a shame, because the food here really is delicious.
