The trout was really salmon (I know the difference although it can be subtle). It was overcooked and served with overcooked cous cous and frozen, shriveled peas. The short rib was over salted and topped with banana pepper slices straight from the jar and some kind of salty chips over a parsnip, mashed potato yuckiness. Also, we noted on the reservation that this was a birthday and anniversary dinner and it wasn't even acknowledged by the staff. It's evident the "chef" was not the same as our last visit. What kind of business is that ? The female owner of this restaurant said and I quote ..,"this is common for any restaurant". My husband and I have eaten out at several restaurants in Avalon, Sea Isle and Stone Harbor and I can assure you we have never experienced charges to a credit card for not even walking in the door of the restaurant so I have no idea what the owner is talking.
