BUT in this day and age when it seems like stations raise the price at the drop of a hat then take a LONG time to lower it, This place doesn't. They raise prices slowly and lower them with the market so when they DO put prices up you don't feel like you're getting screwed. This is really important these days. The place is well located and has good hours late in the evening and early in the morning. So why did I scale it down? masks. in 2020 with the amount of, traffic, they get there is a real risk of exposure here but in the work bays, talking to customers and behind the price register? I approached an employee who said they would eventually work and inserted a token, punched in a code and it started and said let him know. He asked for my tokens (7) and I gave them to him thinking he was going to exchange them. When asked for them back he gave me two and confiscated the rest saying that they were his property. These tokens have a monetary value and have no markings saying whose property they are. He refused to return them to me unless I was going to use them all. This will be the last time there. When she exited, one of the people drying the car off saw this damage and brought it to her attention. Long story short, the owner said the car must have had a "weakness" before it entered the car wash. He aggressively spoke to my daughter and I (She FaceTimed me), insisting it was our fault since it only happened to our car and no one else's cars that day. Obviously something in the car wash got stuck and pulled the bumper off. I have a family member who used to work there under the prior ownership and said this does happen from time to time. The new owner, Vick, did nothing but blame us and our car. My husband went back in person a few days later to try to discuss a resolution with him and he again became agitated and aggressive and said it's not his fault. He offered no resolution other than giving us free car washes in the amount that we would have to pay to repair the car. He didn't even refund the price of the car wash after this occurred! Obviously we aren't going to take our cars through the car wash again if we know this type of damage is possible and that we will be responsible for it. Bottom line, a simple car wash has now caused $1300 worth of damage plus the cost of a rental while we get it repaired. I've talked to other people who had similar incidents occur at other car washes and the owners made it right and paid for the repairs. Be aware that this owner will NOT stand behind his service and you are entering at your own risk and expense when you use North Penn Car Wash.

The kid went to grab a "manager" and another kid walks out to look at the screen, says nothing to me then walks away. The first kid comes back and says "what did he say" I told him nothing but assumed he was letting me get a wash. Well the "manager" yells "no, he has to pay". So I backed out and drove away. Bunch of kids running this place. 3 usually drying the car do a subpar job and you feel obligated to leave them each a tip when your cars not even wiped down properly. I will stick to hand washing my car because customer service here and quality is severely lacking.
