My middle school student has been participating in one of the bands for several months and has found the group to be highly supportive and is gaining confidence in his performing ability. As a non-musical person, I enjoy coming to the shows to support the bands. They are all very good and I'm surprised at the talent and skills of such young people.

In Jr. High our daughter had a love for music and began teaching herself to play guitar. It wasn't…read moregoing well. She needed more! She was also unable to find a satisfying place where she felt she belonged. Everything changed when we found School of Rock. Her grades instantly came up and the zest for life came back. Within months she learned enough in lessons to perform on stage. She overcame her shyness & worked hard. It was the best social life she ever had! More than that it became our families cohesion. We shared the excitement of concerts, some with celebrities, and special events with the School of Rock family. I no longer had to worry about where she was or what she was doing. I only wish All of my children could have had this life changing experience. We had the time of our life! I expected that Tiffany would want a young teacher at her age. Much to my surprise she preferred experience. Through the structure she took it serious, developed a respect & became great friends with the 1st. She stayed with Ben the whole 4 years of her presence there. We felt he was The Best! A knowledgeable show director, awesome teacher, fun loving person & great with adolescents. It has been almost 2 years since she graduated from this youth program and I hope we will be back soon to "PLAY AGAIN"! It is possible in such a creative flexible program.
