This office was not the best at responding timely. I had received a quote, paid quote for full…read moreyear, and canceled previous insurance. 2.5 weeks later, They determined they could not insure me and instead of a call from the Agent, I get a letter in the mail. Reason for canceling, high fire area. I contacted 4 neighbors, all of them have State Farm. I called a second State Farm Agent to get additional information. CS rep states within 30 seconds that they can't insure me based on my zip code. Claims other neighbors must have been "grandfathered in"? Sounded like BS to me. We can't insure you, but we'll continue insuring all your neighbors. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there and there and there, just not here. Tracy's office wasted my time and money by not checking in more detail before accepting my money and allowing me to cancel the insurance I had! So they got free money from me for doing NOTHING!!!! And now I have to find different insurance, AND WAIT FOR A REFUND! The whole situation sucks and could have been avoided. They should not accept payment without full approval from underwriting!

Additionally, they confirmed it needed a smog and recommended Tri-City Smog a few doors down. I went to Tri-City Smog, they got me in / out quickly and due to the Performance reference gave me a $10 discount. Went back to Performance and completed the vehicle registration for a small service fee. In total. it took me about an hour to get information on the registration status, a smog and registration completed. Could not have been more pleased. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
