Part of it is curiosity--I call it Sonic Russian Roulette, you order and then sit back and wait for who knows what, but definitely not what you ordered, to arrive at the window--I know its wrong, but there are so few real surprises in life and the HD is bereft of any real entertainment. So this place has good food but holy hell they have the slowest staff. They don't have a clue how to take an order and are slow as heck. I've been here four times and they either are out of something I order or completely screw up my order not to mention the fact that they make me repeat myself over and over again cause they can never hear and I talk loud. Please retrain your staff cause they seriously suck. read more

Just stopped through the drive thru as we're on our way home to LA. First, the employee taking orders through the drive thru was very rude!!! Now, as we eat our food, the tator tots taste weird, like they are old and have been fried over and over again. read more

OK so the machine is back up yay. Haha. And the wait in drive thru has been about 10 min so far. And its pretty packed. And I am next to hit the window. All in all I am very pleased with how this trip to sonic has been tonight! Way to step it up! Service should be a tad faster still but they are mixing the ingredients and by hand... Oh and as I am writing this they brought out my shakes and I paid. Lady in front still waiting for food... Service was fast and friendly that's why they get two stars. Nothing is worse than craving something, driving to get a mean for you and your wife to it being not what you ordered, dry, old and disgusting. I ordered two bacon cheeseburgers and one large Fry. I was specific about just a regular bacon cheese burger after she asked if I wanted the super sonic 2 patty one. I know many think this is a come up to get home and see u paid for a smaller burger but got two of the super sonics but plain and simple it's not what I wanted. It was beyond dry upon the first bite, then I opened to see no dressing on s patty. The bacon looked like something you can't explain or that I would use a vulgar term for. I attached pictures because I can't believe the cook even thought it would be appropriate to sell this to anyone. The party's were cold even after a 4 min drive home. I'd give them no stars if I could. I ordered a diet coke with lime. That's all. First time they gave me regular with no limes. I corrected them and the second time they gave me regular with limes. I tried to not be annoying but I had paid for a diet coke with lime so I corrected them a 3rd time and they still came out with regular and just a bunch of limes. They seemed bothered when I tried to get what I ordered but if I'm paying you money, maybe you should give me what I paid for? read more

They get 2 stars because I love the food, but the service, not so much. We got up to the drive-thru, ordered our food, and go up to the drive-thru window. We waited over 15 minutes at the window, with no one else even at the facility!! When the lady brought the food to the window, she said, "it takes awhile to grill chicken". These employees need a manager who knows how to run a restaurant, that's for sure! read more

As many have said, the wait time here is RIDICULOUS! I was looking forward to grabbing a drink on my way back home, and stopped in thinking, how long could it take to grab one drink? Apparently, longer than 30 mins!...I left before REALLY finding out. It took ten. Mins before they even took my order and no one but two other cars were even there. People in the drive through were pulled off to the side "waiting" I guess. It was a mess! I've never just driven off from a place, but this place....just avoid at all costs. I just left from here after literally sitting in their drive thru for 42 FUCKING MINUTES...just for an iced tea and tater tots. I guess that's what I deserve for going during half price shake hour on a 95 degree day. The cashier did apologize for the wait and I'm sure they did the best they could considering the crowd, but hell. I never write reviews but I feel compelled to write one this time. I just ordered a Chicago dog and cheese tots at Sonic. I live about a mile away, I drove home and went to eat it but the cheese tots were cold with crappy cheese. Chicago dog had a stale bun ,cold dog and was falling apart when you picked it up. it was the absolute worst hot dog I have ever had Wienerschnitzel has a better hot dog then Sonic. read more

I'm only giving them 3 stars, their drinks are always spot on but the issues out way the good. Every time we come here we wait 35 to 40min and our food is never done correct. We tried several times to use the drive up windows but if there isn't an employee taking the spots.. There is maybe 1 or 2 of their card readers that actually work. Decent food at a decent price.I usually go with the $1.99 6-inch chili cheese coney and the medium onion size rings. the food is pretty good for the most part. As far as drinks go, i've only had the smoothies which are fairly priced and adequately sized. You can actually taste the fruit and they are pretty thick. Horrible.. Ordered at a stall (only customer) 15 minutes later no food/drinks. The stall next to me pulls in orders and gets food. I walk over to inquire only to be told they are short staffed. Please note, 10 employees scrambling around..? There were 3 cars waiting. We left 25 minutes into it with NO food and NO drinks and NO customer service. Sonic here is good. Yes when they are busy expect the wait! This one is good, they help the local elementary track/cross country coach get pre orders for the kids that run from their school to here on Fridays! That's awesome for a chain like this to show some dedication to the local schools!! Shakes and slushes are da BOMB! Burgers and tots are tasty too. If they figure out a way to reduce the wait times, this easily jumps to 5 star status!!!! read more

The food is not good. I don't know how a hot dog is nasty, but they did it. The shakes were delicious. They were really good, but didn't make up for the nasty food. Second time I tried food here and I went do it again. How is such basic food so gross? If you must go, order only a shake. read more

For having 2 sonics up here in the high desert, it is far better to just drive to the victorville location then come here... The last 2 times i have been here, the ocean water has tasted like carbonated water. I already complained the first time, and now 2 weeks later, here we are again, tastless sprite with a hint of blue coconut.... Not to mention i arrive to the menu in the drive thru to order, and i sit for atleast 3-4 minutes no matter the amount of cars here. we waited 1 hour in the drive thru just for the teenage workers to treat us like crap. we got tater tots that were cooked till there was no potato left and no napkins or utensils. there were cold fries and burger, the slushies werent mixed and tasted awful. these teenagers were playing together instead of making our food. the food tasted horrid and so are they. wont see me again. read more
