One of the WORST customer service experiences I have EVER had. I always wait at least 10-15 minutes for a shake and a slush, the only things I get from there. I usually park at the speaker but tonight we took the drive thru thinking it would be faster. We waited in that line for a good 20 minutes. They messed up the order of the car in front of us, causing us to wait longer. Instead of asking them to move and park so they can keep the line moving, they had them stay at the drive thru window. To make it worse, they started to bring out orders for cars behind us. All we ordered were three shakes and a slush with nerds. They charged for the add on nerds, but there were none in the drink. I don't know what the problem is but Sonic, you need to get it together. The employee was very rude and didn't even apologize for our wait. One of the employees there is always kind, but the rest come off with a funky attitude. I am very disappointed. I live jus a skip and a hop away from this Sonic but I think I'd rather make the trip to Victorville to see if they have better service. read more

OMG!!! Waited for about 45 minutes for my food. Found out they didn't even input my order. They gave me an order total but when I double checked after waiting for so long they said they don't even have an order for me. Can't trust this technology. Ordered 2 different foot long hotdogs / chicago foot long and new york foot long. The new york was put on 2 six inch buns and and the buns were so soggy you could not even pick it up without it falling apart! The chicago dog was on a full size bun but was also so soggy you could not pick it up. Cook too lazy to cut the tomato into halves so he just put 2 slices of tomato on top of every thing! Only thing that was worth eating was the tater tots! All this after waiting 15 mins in the drive through and being told I was having to wait while they made fresh foot longs! I guess their idea of fresh was seeing how much water the buns could hold! 2nd time in 2 years have eaten at this place and it will be another 2 years before I bother to waste my time and money here again!!! read more

Quick rant. I normally don't do this but I have to say Sonic is a big disappointment. I don't eat there because I don't think their food tastes that good, except maybe their onion rings, plus I pass 8 or 9 fast food joints on my way there. So the wife and I make the drive there and FOR THE 3RD TIME IN A ROW they have no ice cream products. The only reason we drove over there. So that was our last attempt to get a dessert from them. It won't make a difference to them but I really feel for the employees who have to try to explain why after enduring a 106 degree day they will not be able to satisfy my desire for an ice cold dessert treat. That is all...other than that life is good. Just a follow up. I posted this to my FB page and was immediately deluged with responses that agreed with my experience. Only giving this place one star because I have to. We went and ordered three simple shakes and burgers. The woman at the window Leslie repeated the order & it was wrong so I corrected her. She spoke no more than three words to us. We waited at te window for over ten minutes for the shakes while, our food got cold. We had to stare at her leaning against the window & stare at her hair in a smashed up bun while we were wondering what was taking so long. We also overheard her yelling at the workers who all seemed upset and stressed. She then finally hands us our food but basically throws it at us and slams the window. We tried to get we attention because we wanted whipped cream on the shakes but she went back to leaning on the window which she did the entire time we were waiting. . It was very unprofessional & rude. She could have apologized for the wait at least. We will never be coming back. It appeared that she was a manager but was a horrible example for other employees and customers. This place needs a new manager or to replace her because she's bringing the entire place down. This place is supposed to be fun and family friendly but offers nothing. Only come if you want melted shakes, cold food, don't mind waiting 20 minutes & being treated like nothing I should have asked for my money back. Be prepared to stare at a manger leaning against a window with a smashed bun & then you'll realize why the window is so dirty! Spend a little more & get your shake at a jack in the box at least the customer service is better! read more

They only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because I love their desserts....that being said, EVERY TIME, and I do mean every time I come here they are out of something...peanut butter cups, snickers, hot fudge, and it's very frustrating, especially since there are 2 grocery stores walking distance away. Last night some friends of our and us decided to hit it up to get a treat after dinner. We even joked, let's go see what they're out of tonight. What happened after we pulled up and pushed the button to order we never imagined. "Hello, welcome to sonic, and just so you know, we are out of ice cream". How the heck do you run out of a product that is in close to 75% of your menu, and is what 90% of your costumers come for?! Who ever they have in charge of ordering, if there is anyone, is horrible at their job. Couple that with the absolutely, ridiculously slow service, I honestly don't know how they're still in business. read more

I'd heard a lot of bad things about Sonic before I had even gone, but the latest advertising campaign for the Chicken Dinner made me and my mom want to go. So we go, and there's a long line, and we ended up waiting 35 minutes before we even got up to the intercom, which would've been fine if we hadn't been ignored on the intercom! My mother stayed there, trying to talk into it for about 10 mins before we just moved up, and after we'd moved completely up, the intercom starts working and they take the order of the person behind us. It took about 20 more mins before we got to the window, and we'd just figured we would order there. But when we finally got up to the window, and ordered, the employee told us they had sold out, and because we had never been there before, and hadn't even gotten to use the ordering menu, we just left. The employees were nice, but it was the worst experience we've ever had at any business. After this, we actually came back to try the dinner, and it still took about 30 mins with only two people infront of us. The dinner wasn't all that impressive, everything was soggy, and all remotely the same shade of brown. Wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing, and certainly not with the bad experiences. Came for the 1/2 price shake for the first time. Strawberry flavor was awesome . Came between lunch and dinner to the drive thru nobody was in front of me. In and out real fast. And the girl at the window was real nice . Had a hard finishing the medium shake because it was a lot! Will be back! read more

Went to sonic mainly because of the half off shakes after. I get there at the drive through my phone says it's 8pm I order my food and the shakes. Come to find out I was charged full price for the shakes. I asked why this was and Kristina said it was because my order was locked in at 7:59. I even told her kindly my phone said it was 8 and if it was possible to get the discount even though their clocks said 759. She said no and didn't even offer to take them off refund me the money and rering them up. I can't believe it to be honest. Horrible customer server. The lady that took my order was Kristina and I wish she would have been nice enough to see I was ordering the shakes and said oh our clocks say 759 want to wait one minute for me to lock in your order for the half off deal,but she didn't she had horrible customer service and didn't even help me after the fact. She didn't even offer any solutions just a sorry you were one minute early according to our machines. Funny thing is I see they have a 2 star rating well it's no fuckin wonder. Horrible place, food is poor quality, the happy hour drinks is what I usually come for, however this is the second time I have come and tried to order a drink after waiting 10 minutes to place the order, they completely forgot about it.
