The burger patties were thin, but the double came with fresh lettuce, tomato, and your choice of other toppings. I must say the beef flavor was definitely there. The fish sandwich was light and flaky and though the fillet was a bit small, it was delicious. My wife tried the fried shrimp and found the batter light and not overpowering, though the seasoning seemed to be just in the breading rather than the shrimp itself. Service was courteous and patient as you navigate a huge menu selection on their board. Culver's was quiet as a typical restaurant and not fast food variety. All in all, we got drinks and essentially three meals for under $30, so the hype is definitely real.

I also got a San Jacinto Warrior which they call a "Texican" style, and it was ok. For lunch I got a Paradise Burger that come with Sidewinder fries. The Paradise burger is a tri-tip beef patty w/ grilled pineapple, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, and provolone cheese. It comes with a Korean sauce, but I got it without. The patty was a little thicker than i usually like, but the burger was really good. The sidewinder fries are basically curly steak fries. Service was a little slow, the beer was decent ( Iwish they had IPA's when I went so I could have tried more) but overall, it was a solid place.

This Sonic location has refused officers service. This is discrimination and the owner, district manager and shift managers should know better.
