Brewery #382 Lake Houston Brewery is a large fun place sitting on a lake, so the atmosphere is nice. They have an outdoor and indoor patio so you can sit with a lake view. There is also a boat dock to pull up to get your beer or grub fix. I saw a few video games and air hockey for the kids as well. We came here for a lunch and a few brews. I am IPA guy but the day we came, there were none on the menu, so I got a Santa's Cookie's stout to start which was pretty good. I also got a San Jacinto Warrior which they call a "Texican" style, and it was ok. For lunch I got a Paradise Burger that come with Sidewinder fries. The Paradise burger is a tri-tip beef patty w/ grilled pineapple, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, and provolone cheese. It comes with a Korean sauce, but I got it without. The patty was a little thicker than i usually like, but the burger was really good. The sidewinder fries are basically curly steak fries. Service was a little slow, the beer was decent ( Iwish they had IPA's when I went so I could have tried more) but overall, it was a solid place. read more

arrived on Thursday 6pm. There were 8 of us in a group and the restaurant was aware prior to arrival . Exterior temp, 88 degrees. interior temp 92 degrees. Restrooms up 4 stairs, no handicap access, beer, warm, dinner arrived missing french fries. No table ware, had to wait for silver ware to eat. Server was friendly and did her best, young and needed experience /training but she tried. This was my second visit in 6 months, no better than the first, I can't recommend. read more

Very pleasant environment with inside seating but more interestingly a lovely spacious patio with nice lake views and a stage with live music. A modest selection of their own beers, and I particularly like King of the Juice, their hazy IPA. We had a Reuben sandwich, which was a solid 5, and a burger that was also very good. Their spiral cut fries are great, offering both heart and crunchy bits, and the fried pickles were firrt rate too. We were there on a Saturday night and it was hopping, with parking a little tight and the servers hustling to keep up but all in all a very enjoyable meal and I am sure we will return to further explore their menu. Food: Buffalo chicken wings with a side of sidewinder fries and the Fried Trio which you can choose 3 meats outta 5. I got the fried catfish, fried oysters, and coconut shrimp. It comes with a side of fries. They forgot my fried catfish and gave me fried shrimp, but they corrected my order once I pointed it out. Everything was pretty delicious except the bland fried shrimp. The coconut shrimp, fried oysters, and fried catfish were excellent, but expensive. Nothing special about the chicken wings. Their fries is like giant curly steak cut fries. Service: Staff are super friendly and fast. Other: Came here for the first time for a Hawaii gathering. Waitresses were great considering, we had a pretty large group. Service was great. Cinnamon was always there with refills and checking in and offering great selections from the start! Started with the hush puppies that were crisp and sweet! Tried the pretzel and although a little harder and over cooked to my liking the hubbs enjoyed it. We kept it simple with burgers and our kiddo got the shrimp basket and said it was great! We really enjoyed the food here. They have unique shaped fries which we all loved, and their onion rings are bomb. The fried shrimp were on the small side so I'd probably just stick with the fried catfish next time. The fried pickles were really good too! I used to love this place, but was treated horribly this last visit. We waited patiently to be seated. Once seated no one would serve us. When we asked to be served we were accused of seating ourselves even though I had the text. After about an hour when we were finally asked for our order we were told that they were out of most everything. At that point we left. I was very offended at how I was treated. Very busy spot! The hostess must have been overwhelmed because she was not very pleasant. We were seated and then had to ask who was serving us after 25 minutes of waiting for acknowledgment. Had to make a quick trip to Houston and while I was there I definitely had to get a beer ot two, and so I ended up at this brewery and as it turned out I got the beer I needed and had a great time. It sits on the edge of Lake Houston and has tons of outdoor seating. Tons. Bring all your friends. Bring your dog. Bring someone else's dog. There's plenty of space. They had a small stage set up with a guy who did a wide variety of covers and a few original songs and he did a really good job of keeping the crowd entertained. The place was busy, and the crew on the brink of being overwhelmed, but they came through, handled it and did an excellent job of working under that bit of pressure. Inspiring stuff really. Now on to the important part. The beer. They had so many varieties available that I genuinely had trouble deciding. Check my pic of the menu. They had all those available. So many. So many beers. Mmmm so many beers. The ones I tried were as good as you could expect anywhere and I thoroughly enjoyed them. We visited LHB yesterday and had the best time as always! We sat on the patio with the umbrellas wind was strong but it felt awesome out by the water! Live music started towards the end of our visit since we were there for early dinner. There was a perfect spot to sit in the grass and watch the band set up. My baby boy loved his first visit! Service was wonderful and speedy. We had some very refreshing drinks (LFG beer for my hubby and Tropical Spritzer with champaign for me) had a burger and blackened shrimp tacos with fries and it was all delicious. Every time I think I have found a fun palce of entertainment, I seem to surprise myself. This place is amazing! There is seating both inside and outside. There is covering for those really hot days and heat lamps for the cool evening. The view of the lake is perfect. You can see the lake from just about any seat. There are boats that pass by from time to time. The stage is in a spot where everyone can see and hear perfectly. All the food was cooked fresh and delicious. The prices were reasonable too. The drinks were delicious and well crafted. They even have a playground for children off to the side. Parking was plentiful. This is a place that I will definately be back. Customer service makes a big difference. The location is great, just by the lake. Indoor/outdoor seating. That's the only positive. Employees acted like we ruined their day by visiting the place. We got there 10minutes after they opened, only customers. It was full of employees yet we were ignored by all of them. When we approached the bar and told them we wanted a beer flight but we didn't know which one, she didn't explain the different beers they had, nothing.
