I've been to other sonics and this one is at the bottom. Old establishment that is dirty outside and not well lit. Staff seemed friendly enough. I'm disappointed in sonics offerings. I don't know if their food quality and offerings overall have gone down or it was just this place. They no longer offer the variety of hotdogs they used to. They also don't have some breakfast offerings I used to get. The food that we got was subpar. It took a while for an empty restaurant to make our food and they forgot the bacon. The Philly cheesesteak was a joke. Not coming back.

Food is great but no matter what time you schedule your order to be picked up when purchasing in the app you'll end up waiting. Every time I've order in the app I check in at a stall and nobody shows up. Even after it says it's preparing in the kitchen. This isn't a app problem because I've only had this issue at this location and it just might because they're understaffed.

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 5/5 Went here for lunch and wow great food with great views for sure! (Also iykyk BTS members were here too :DD) We arrived around 3 PM, and the restaurant was super busy and packed. I was expecting a wait but we got seated right away. Initially, we asked to sit outside and it was really nice at first. The breeze and fresh air in the shade were definitely 10/10. But as the afternoon went on, the sun got much hotter and the seagulls became absolutely VICIOUS LOLL, so we ended up asking to move inside. The staff were so accommodating and let us pick whichever table we wanted, which I really appreciated. Now onto the food, WOW was the first word that came out of my mouth the portions are HUGE. There were a lot of great options to choose from, but I ended up getting the grilled lobster mac and cheese. The portion was HEFTY. I ate so much, yet it still looked like I barely made a dent in the bowl lol. The flavor was good, but it was saltier than I expected, and the more I ate, the more noticeable the saltiness became. I didn't catch the names of my friends' dishes, but they all really enjoyed their meals. Overall, it's a great spot with amazing views, generous portions, and great service. I'd love to come back again in the future!

Not super busy on a gorgeous Saturday night…read more The good: the shrimp boil is amazing. I do wish there was an option to order more bread to go along with it. The location on the water is beautiful and the patio tables are great, with fans to help with temperature control. The meh: This place is super inconsistent, even within the same visit. I had one spicy margarita that was amazing and had a couple of jalapeno slices. My friend ordered one that was missing the jalapenos and was just ok. The cooks forgot to add the honey sriracha sauce to our brussel sprouts (which I've had here before so I knew something was missing). The solution to just bring a cup of the sauce to the table was not it. The bad: That parking lot. Not a single place to park, yet the restaurant was not at all busy. It seemed like people parked there and walked next door. Just ok. $75 for two drinks and two apps seems excessive when they just can't get it right.

From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to be in for a great experience. It is overwhelming when you arrive. So many different venues with different names. Very confusing at first. But the staff were helpful, friendly & explained they're all the same place just different areas of appeal. They have a beach area, typical dining areas, intimate cove areas, and bar areas. Well done on atmosphere! DH & I came for dinner around 6 on a Sat evening. We figured we'd have a wait but they seated us within 20 mins of arriving. We asked to be seated outside with a water view. They don't disappoint. Our waiter was fantastic. Always tentative and remembering the little things. To start DH ordered a beer. It was served & cold. I ordered a Mojito which was ok, nothing special. For dinner I got the Lump Crab BLT. Don't expect big lumps of crab meat. The rest of the ingredients are a hint of flavors & that really made it great. Beware, it is a delicious but very messy sandwich. The side salad was a hit. Very fresh & flavorful. DH ordered the Tenderloin Steak Sandwich. He was very happy with the flavor. It was not dried out and had a good seasoning. His side of fries were good too. The atmosphere can't be beat. Walk around & check out all the areas.

Our server was slow while other serving staff were chatting loudly by the station near our table. The surroundings are enchanting. Tight park spaces.

A Galactic Feast with a Pixie-Dusted Touch: Out-of-this-World Efficiency!…read more Oh boy! Our lunch at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo was a highlight of our park hopping. While this intergalactic eatery is actually nestled in the heart of Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios, the experience was purely magical from start to finish! Magic at Your Fingertips The real "hero" of our visit was the Disney App. Even with the crowds buzzing like a busy day at the Main Street Electrical Parade, mobile ordering allowed us to bypass the long lines entirely. It is incredibly fast and truly makes dining in the park a "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" experience. We were able to find a table with ease, despite the hustle and bustle of the galaxy! A "Mouseterpiece" of a Meal Since we were looking for a light bite to tide us over until our evening feast, we opted for the Children's Meal, and it was practically perfect in every way: Chicken Tenders & Mac & Cheese: Fresh, hot, and exactly the comfort food we needed. The Standout Broccoli: It's hard to pick a favorite, but the broccoli was cooked to perfection--bright green, perfectly crispy, and definitely earned the "Mouse-Approved" seal of quality! Whistle While You Work The staff here truly embodies the Disney spirit. They were incredibly attentive, "whistling while they worked" to clear and sanitize tables quickly so new guests could settle in and enjoy the atmosphere. It was just enough fuel to keep our spirits high for the rest of our adventures. We will definitely be docking here again in the future and highly recommend it to any fellow travelers looking for a seamless, tasty meal. As Mickey would say, "See ya real soon!"

Docking Bay is located in Hollywood Studios in the Star Wars area. For some reason, we have not…read morereally been here. There are other options at Studios that we enjoy and we knew it was time to give it a try. They are open for lunch and dinner. I think people do not realize during breakfast right next door, there is a stand that sells delicious Ronto Wraps. We love to grab one and sit inside Docking Bay. There are very few seats at Ronto Roasters. Also, after 3pm, Ronto Roasters closes, but the wrap becomes available at Docking Bay. Docking Bay is pretty large with lots of seating inside and few tables outside. I always recommend the mobile ordering on the Disney app, it saves time standing in line. It is also a little darker inside so its pretty cool in the summer. It is very Star Wars space theme. Their food is unique and different for a theme park and their prices reflect that. It is a little on the more expensive side. We ordered a couple of things to try and share. To start we ordered one of the more popular dishes, Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip which is Crispy Chicken served with House-made Macaroni, Roasted Vegetables garnished with Cauliflower Leaf Kimchi. Its basically a large chicken tender. It was pretty good, I would get it again. I really liked the mac and cheese but did not love the vegetables, they were too mushy. However, my husband liked them. We also ordered the Pirjanad Hot Chicken Tip Yip which is Crispy Chicken glazed in a Spicy Chipotle Sauce and served with White Rice and a Relish of Sweet Corn, Shishito Peppers, Jicama, Plantains, and Cilantro. We did not have any shishito peppers or plantains, it had the same vegetables as the Chicken tip yip which was a little disappointing. The only different was it was spicy. Our friend ordered the Sweet Puffer Pig Ribs which came with Portion Bread. These were Pork Ribs brushed with Tangy BBQ Sauce and served with Macaroni & Cheese and Sponge Cake. We were not sure of the bread, it had a bland taste. these were fine, there was not much meat on them and for almost $17 he was definitely disappointed. We also ordered a cocktail, and chose the Surly Sarlacc which is Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit and Rose Vodka, Minute Maid Limeade, Raspberry, Spicy Mango Flavors. It was really good! I would definitely order again and I think they also have it at Ronto Roasters next door. Overall, this is a decent place. I would not come here all the time, the dishes are pretty heavy and filling so in the summer we prefer to snack as opposed to meals. But they do have different options than your typical park food. The theming is fantastic and you get real plates and actual utensils as opposed to plastic. Slightly elevated for a theme park.

My boyfriend made an online reservation with no issues, and getting seated was easy. Overall, I'd give the food about a 3 out of 5. Nothing was bad, but it felt more like an upscale chain restaurant experience than a standout seafood destination. Around the table we had everything from lobster mac and cheese to oysters and steak, and the consensus was that the food was decent, just not particularly memorable. I'm allergic to dairy so that definitely impacted my ordering abilities. I ordered two appetizers as my meal: the calamari and the pork belly. The calamari was a bit too fishy for my taste, so I found myself mostly picking at it. The pork belly, however, was very good and easily the highlight of my meal. Where Big Fin truly shines is customer service. We had several picky-eater teens in our group, plenty of special requests, and a lot of moving parts. Our server, I believe his name was Nathan, handled everything with patience, and a great attitude throughout the evening. The hostess was equally impressive. We arrived before the rest of our party and had the opportunity to watch her expertly navigate a few situations with what appeared to be some challenging guests. She remained gracious, calm, and welcoming the entire time. John, the manager, also stopped by our table and was wonderful. It's clear that hospitality is a priority here, and every staff member we encountered made us feel genuinely welcome. While the food won't have me rushing back, the exceptional service certainly left a positive impression.

We were immediately greeted by two hosts with genuine, big smiles, which set the tone for the entire evening. We also had the pleasure of meeting the chef, mixologist, and general manager--a personal touch that truly elevated the experience. Our evening was a full-on culinary journey. We enjoyed oysters, shrimp, newly crafted cocktails and bold wines, crab cakes, Hamachi crudo, poached king crabs, halibut, and yes--all of the desserts!!!! Every single one of them. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and somehow better than the last. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the fish was flawless, and the balance of flavors throughout the meal was spot on. There is a chef-tasting menu--which we didn't experience this time--but after this meal, it's absolutely happening on our next visit. The night ended with a tableside dessert presentation from the chef, which was such a memorable and elevated final touch. Incredible service, exceptional food, and an atmosphere that encourages great conversation and even better memories. I cannot wait to go back. Classic hospitality, modern execution, and a menu that delivers every single time. Love the experience fellow FIU alumni, Javier provided!!!!
