Stopped by this evening, the service was horrible. The young lady who took my order even from the intercom she had an attitude and was clearly not happy to have to work. Despite the attitude, I was still gonna order my food so I placed my order and as going up through the drive-through, I asked if I could pay a portion in cash, which was only five dollars and the rest of the balance of my family's meal which was something like $60 on my card. She immediately seemed frustrated to have to change something in the computer, then shook her head and stated to me that she will not do a split payment. At this point, I began to get frustrated because it felt like I was bothering her and I just canceled my order and left. Needless to say I will not be coming back to the sonic even though it's right in my area. Hopefully a manager or someone in authority will see this and be able to make some changes because clearly there are some necessary training steps that needs to be adjusted. read more

I really expected to have a good experience with this sonic considering it was one of the very first ones to be introduced to Aurora so many years ago, but I was beyond disappointed when pulling up to the drive through, I did what I was supposed to do and gave them my code to pick up my already placed order that was going to be paid for! NEGATIVE ghost rider- I was met with a dumbfounded look and a need to repeat my last name five times and to be asked if I was sure that was my last name! Really at 47 years old I believed I kinda have an idea of what my name is because I've had for a minute or two, and then when I tried to remake the order the person had no idea what was being sold on the menu after repeating that. Five times also, I'm not sure if it was a bad night for the staff that night, or the sun went down to fast for their tastes but they made me not want to deal with sonic anymore!!!! read more

Last year I had a negative experience here with a rude worker, but now that time has passed and I have been to this location multiple times since, I can say they have improved. They have good food, good service, and nice workers. I have had no complaints as of recently here, I think the only thing that irks me when I come here is the speed bumps being so large and rough on my car. Lots of people go here, the drive-thru line was long. We decided to use the order from the parking stall method. It was easy enough, and there were several ways to pay there. All good. It took a few minutes for someone to answer our request for an order after pushing the magic red button, but I know they were busy. The order process was good but the speakers aren't clear, but what you order is displayed on the screen as a confirmation, so that's good too. It was less than five minutes between the time we ordered and when it was delivered to the car. The guy who brought it out was wearing a mask and observed social distancing. Again, all good. The thing is we parked there to eat in the car and parked in the area where people normally eat in their cars, but they didn't provide trays to hold the food and drink. Isn't sonic known for people driving there to eat in their cars? They provided two small thin napkins and no ketchup for the fries. Not good. I ordered the green chili burger. It desert dry and there was hardly any chili on it. It was really lame. Super lame. El Lamo to the max. You get it, no bueno. If you're going to get one you better order a very large drink to wash it down and kill the taste. Two burgers, one order of fries, a coke and a shake was $20.37 with tax. That's quite a bit for that kinda' food. For that price pretty much any burger place would be better...especially an independent restaurant that could certainly use the business during these trying times. One and done for Sonic. Do not visit this location tonight! We just left without ordering. The man who is taking orders tonight was so rude to another customer that we decided we didn't want to eat there. The customer asked if the man taking orders could hear her, because she couldn't hear him. He angrily told her that orders were only being taken through the drive thru, tonight. So, we headed to the drive thru, too. However, upon getting there, we could hear the guy taking orders from people in the stalls, but still in a hateful and annoyed tone. The foot long chili cheese coney was extremely salty and fries tasted like the oil had not been changed for quite some time and were not hot, they tasted like they had been laying around. The meat of a cheese burger tasted slightly off so only one bite was eaten, if I wasn't leaving Denver and was already on the road they would have gotten the whole order back The only good thing was the diet cherry limeade. read more

Thus far this location respectively completed my order correctly. I ordered the 12 piece chicken with honey barbecue and Asian sweet chili. I also ordered a strawberry lemonade and it is coming out well. They also, importantly, didn't forget my sauce. Very respectable workers too. Twuan, was absolutely friendly, fast and mindful. This is by far the worst Sonic. My husband and I attempted to stop this morning and get breakfast but we were unable to get an employee to take our order. We tried the drive-thru and waited but nobody came to the speaker, so we went to a drive-up stall and pushed the button to have someone take our order... no such luck. After waiting for a few minutes the light went off like they had reset our stall. We tried to go back through the drive thru and still nobody came to the speaker. This is the first time I've had a problem with Sonic and I've been going there for years, so I guess they had a good run. I would not recommend ordering the "Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburger" because as you can tell by the pictures I took of it, they're very small. It also looks like they forgot both the cheddar and the pepper, in one of my cheddar peppers. They also forgot the marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks. It's actually a negative 50 but you have to give a star. Service was horrible. I had to repeat my order several times and they still forgot to give me the large fries I ordered. The quality of food was poor. French fries were stale and cold and my sandwich was distasteful as well. The WORST PART OF ALL OF THIS IS... Horrible customer service. I was unaware that we could only do 1 order through drive thru. We asked to do 2 orders and they wouldn't do it. If this policy exists make sure it is visible to the customer. I don't understand why this is so complicated and other fast food restaurants allow multiple orders through drive thru. My experience at this specific location has been on the scale from 1 to 10 a 2 Be aware of the person at the drive-thru window. When paying with a credit card or cash be sure they hand you your credit card or cash before they hand you your food. They will keep your money or your credit card and lack the responsibility of giving it back before they give you your food. I am aware you are supposed to give the customer their money back before they get their food and this location fails every single time I've come here. Also be aware of the chicken popcorn, they are rock hard, the hamburgers are always premade and cold. I appreciate Sonic when the food is prepped right and you get what you pay for. But this location needs a lot of work and re-training. read more

The French fries were the worst I've ever had: cold, chewy, oily. The Dr. Pepper was watered down. The hamburger, the green chili hatch cheeseburger, had 10 small pieces of chili and was tasteless except for the mustard. My dining partner said the chocolate milkshake was good. read more

If I could, and could afford Diabetes meds, I would get a Route 44 Vanilla Coke everyday both on the way to work and back again at night. I dont much eat here, with the exception of grilled cheeses, corn dogs, and drinks. I am not a fan of tater tots, or french fries from ANYWHERE. Although my partner likes the tots. The do have a set menu, and all sorts of choices, and even rotate a few season fare. Drinks half price 2-4 are always a plus. I will never ever go to another sonic...period! I stopped sunday nite to get a double meet cheeseburger. When i picked up the order at the window, the bag felt light so i asked the lady if she was sure it was my order....the receipt said it was. When i got home, all that was in the bag was two peppermint candies. I called the sonic and talked to the manager. She said she could not give me a refund...and the sonic is 5 miles from my house. SO, wednesday, i was in the neighborhood i dropped in with the receipt and explained what had happened. The day manager (Denise) said she could/would not give me my hamburger. So, in essence, Sonic ripped me off $6.16. It isn't the money that irks me, it is the attitudes of both managers. I really got the message that they could care less.
