The customer service was amazing though, they will give you their opinion on certain items and the food was hot like it was made to order. The double cheese burger was so big that I knew halfway through that it would be tough to finish. It had great flavor, it was juicy, and the bacon was crispy. The fries were good as well. Top tier burger place especially for this area!

But as someone who passes through Lawton/Cache on the way to Texas for work, this time I couldn't resist detouring on the way back. To be honest, I didn't expect Wahlburgers to be tucked inside the Comanche Casino, but there it was! We arrived around 2 PM, well past the lunch crowd, and had the place to ourselves. The restaurant was spotless, nicely decorated, and full of fun nods to Boston and Wahlberg movies. The negative reviews are pretty harsh which I do think to be indicitive of their food. I started with the Buffalo Chicken WhalBites. Presentation was great--they came out in a wire basket with sauce on the side. Flavor was good, but here's the catch: there was nothing "Buffalo" about them. No Buffalo sauce, and instead of the advertised blue cheese, they came with ranch. (As a Buffalo sauce and blue cheese purist, I had to ask for the blue cheese dressing, which was thankfully solid.) My take: either add the Buffalo sauce for an outstanding starter, or simply rename them as Chicken WhalBites. Of course, I came for a burger--and Wahlburgers delivered! I ordered The Our Burger, which hit every note of a classic done right. Perfectly cooked patty, cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, and a bun that held up to the last bite. Simple, delicious, and exactly how a burger should be. The house sauce reminded me of a Cane's-style dip. I didn't love it on the burger, but it worked really well with the fries--which were hot, golden brown, and perfectly crisp. My tip get the sauce on the Another bonus for me: they serve Pepsi products (my wife will be thrilled when I bring her here). The shakes looked tempting, but I'll save that for next time. Overall, Wahlburgers was absolutely worth the stop. The location may be unconventional, but the food and experience made the trip worthwhile. If this spot were in OKC, it would definitely be in my regular burger rotation. Highly recommend making the trip to Cache to check it out!
