Saw a Tiktok review of this place and it looked amazing so I had to pull up and see for myself. Pulled into what looked like an old school drive thru, I drive a big lifted F150 so it was kind of annoying because it was difficult to maneuver thru the parking lot. The customer service was amazing though, they will give you their opinion on certain items and the food was hot like it was made to order. The double cheese burger was so big that I knew halfway through that it would be tough to finish. It had great flavor, it was juicy, and the bacon was crispy. The fries were good as well. My family and I tried the food here for the first time today. My wife doesn't normally enjoy onion rings, but she did this time. She also thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the shrimp and the sauce that came with it. Timing was great. No more than 5 minutes after ordering, our food was being handed to us. The sweet tea is good as well. As for my food, the only negative comment I have is that the patties had a freezer burnt aftertaste to them. Other than that, all was fine. Wayne's Drive Inn is basically sonic. I had the fried shrimp and my husband had the fish and chips. I have not had the burgers so I cannot account to that. However, our food was just average fast food nothing special. I gave 3 stars because their milkshakes are AMAZING. I had the Oreo milkshake and they know what they're doing when it comes to loading up the Oreos, you will not have any plain vanilla. Overall, decent but just another fast food restaurant. read more

Wayne's is the best for drinks! From their lime and peach slushes, their strawberry banana coke, to the vanilla piña colada Dr. Pepper and not to mention their Love Potion #9 you will not be disappointed! No thank you. It's exactly like sonics. Just a little more run down and bigger menu. The first thing that was listed in the menu was the fish and chips. So that's what I got. Freezer burn and dried... I couldn't even eat it. Was it my bad for ordering fish at a burger joint? Probably, but why list it first in your menu board? I think sonics originated in Oklahoma. Maybe there's a reason that it became a national chain rather than Wayne's..... read more

I'll probably catch heck from this but I wasn't impressed with this place. The fried pickles were NOT good and the sweet tea is diabetic sweet. I didn't like that. The ladies who brought out our foods were nice. I may just have to try something else on their menu to be impressed by how much people have raved about this place. Stay tuned. Talk about diabetes in a bag Wayne's is your place. Get the chicken or steak fingers or sticks whatever they call them they are disgustingly YUMMY! Oh and Onion rings and a large shake. The fries are also great, so salty i can feel my blood pressure head spin and feet swelling starting up just thinking about them When i feel like eating fat cholesterol carbohydrate clog your heart fast food and I'm in Lawton i go to Waynes forget Sonic they are amateurs compared to this place. The burgers are just ok (better than sonics and without the obligatory Oklahoma thumb hole in the bun) but those steak and chicken sticks are something special. if you're ever in the shady 580, don't pass up a trip here. my all-time favorite is a watermelon cream sprite. SO good. beyond that, though, you can get lots of yummy, fried southern goodness. i also really love their cheese sticks. they do offer one salad that's not terrible for you. :) read more

"In Lawton, it's Wayne's" is printed across the simple paper bag that the bubbly carhop delivers my food in. She walks up to me taking a snapchat and makes friendly conversation about all the things she's walked up on. In my defense, I was not expecting my malt and sissy cheeseburger (meaning minimal condiments) to arrive so quickly! The newer location on Cache Road, though not the original establishment, still has the classic 1950's feel and although my food is pretty basic, Wayne's is a Lawton Oklahoma tradition that you simply cannot miss! I've yet to encounter a carhop that was less than friendly and fast-paced or recieve a meal that left me unsatisfied. The mixed drinks are a definite highlight, and I have friends that order bizzare soda-slushes with several flavors infused that the employees don't even need repeated. Not to mention the awesome souvenir cups for a dollar upcharge- I might not live in Lawton to get my regular Wayne's fix, but the souvenir cups are a piece of home. If you haven't tried it out, you gotta stop by Wayne's Drive Inn on Cache: the fish and chips and mozarella sticks are to die for! read more

It's an okay place to go, what I ordered I really didn't like but I'm picky. I do like the blueberry mt dew. It's really good. And my toddler loves that the "kids food" came in a little pop up classic car. There's some things that can be improved such as the trash cans and the way the drive in is set up, it's not big enough to turn in with a truck. read more

I ate at Wayne's drive-in and the food was good but what I like the most is that it's an old-fashioned drive-in that you can't get where I live. I had the cheeseburger fries and a drink in the service was good. If you want to go back to the 1950s I would definitely recommend this drive-in restaurant read more

My favorite go to place to eat in Lawton. They are fast and the food is to die for. Love the vibe. Feels like your in the 60's.

I was expecting a good hand made hamburger, got the frozen patties insted. The fries were good and prices resonable.

One of my favorite restaurants. I have yet to try the famous steak fingers, but I love the chicken planks and I haven't gotten anything different. The honey mustard sauce is amazing, and so are the fries. I really love this place, and I wish we had one in Duncan.(They would blow Sonic out of the water in my opinion.) We ate here for the first time yesterday. Love the chicken planks basket! Different than the typical chicken strips you usually find at all fast food places. My husband ordered a hamburger and said it was an average hamburger, good but nothing spectacular. My daughter had a kids meal and imagine her surprise when it came out in a cardboard car as a tray!
