Very slow. Never get hot food. Management needs some help. Wish we had other options...

This is definitely one of my favorites. The only downside is the cost of most of their items. They have a great variety of food and drinks.

Just ate here tonight. Food was exceptionally fast tonight. Yes, it was also freshly cooked.

Very average. Food is bland and often not fresh. Wish Chapel Hill had a Hardee's or Dairy Queen. Staff doesn't seem to care.

It had been years since my last visit, so when I heard there were some changes, I decided to stop…read moreby--and changes there were, all for the better! They're remodeling everything, including the restaurant, which now looks beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Every item on the menu was appealing, and what we ordered was absolutely delicious. I love trying dishes you don't usually find elsewhere, so my daughter and I took a chance--and we're so glad we did. We started with the Duck River Dumpling (you can see the full description in the menu photos I took from their website). I highly recommend them--they're truly scrumptious! The house-made strawberry pepper jelly was so good, I actually asked if I could buy some to take home. I was co-hosting a baby shower for my daughter in a few days, and I thought it would be perfect served over cream cheese. It ended up being a huge hit--I made sure to give all the credit to the chef and encouraged our guests to visit the restaurant themselves. I even heard other customers loved it so much that the chef might start making extra to sell on-site. We also ordered the Pepper Jelly Crunch hamburger, which was just as tasty. Despite sharing both the appetizer and entrée, we left more than satisfied--definitely not hungry! We can't wait to go back. We live about 30 miles away, but we'll make a point to stop in whenever we're in the area. I should also mention they're building a five-star hotel, and there's a fantastic exhibition space showcasing the local Duck River area. Once everything's complete, I can see people traveling from all over to visit the state park. In the meantime, locals and nearby visitors should absolutely make time to dine here whenever possible. If I lived closer, this would definitely be my go-to spot for meeting friends--the bar area is really nice, too. Oh, and one more thing: my daughter loves flavored teas but didn't see any on the menu. She asked our waitress if she could possibly get one, and she kindly offered to whip one up herself. It was Peach flavored, and it was so good that my daughter asked for a refill! One more thing. We asked if the fries were made in-house. They were not, but they were different and some of the best we've ever eaten.

The park is being renovated at the entrance area but get past that and stop in for a GREAT burger…read moreand fries. The up charge to substitute sweet potato fries from regular seemed a little high but the reg fries were hot and fresh. The beer selection was pretty big and cold. We will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

A must stop for anyone seeking a delicious meal and authentic experience. I've eaten in thousands…read moreof restaurants all over Tennessee and kept hearing other locals in Nashville talk about how incredible it was encouraging me to go . So when my cousin from up north came down, we decided to give it a try. I wanted to show her why I love this area and Nashville is so busy and congested now that I had to find a place she could truly experience the best TN has to offer without the rush and stress of people everywhere. So we headed to The Mason Jar Restaurant in Centerville giving us a beautiful drive to see if the people raving about it were right! She had the chicken Philly, which is a unique southern inspired version on Texas toast and it was killer! I've never seen her finish anything but her plate was clean and I was so grateful the experience lived up to the hype! I ordered the veggie burger which is a chipotle black bean burger on a brioche bun and I couldn't get enough!!! So much so, I ordered one to go and ate it for lunch the next day! This restaurant has the unique charm that is so rare these days where everything seems like a chain or big corporation copy elsewhere. When you dine at MJR you can expect a welcoming environment and incredible service making you feel like part of the family. A gem that is a priceless experience you can only get in the south outside the noise of Nashville. Would recommend it to anyone seeking locally owned charm meets the savory yummy goodness of a clearly well thought out mixture of options this menu has to offer. Head on down as soon as you can as this is one of few places everyone enjoys thankfully living up to its incredible hard earned reputation! Great ambiance service and food which is a triple hitter I was so lucky to find!

This is an amazing spot to have some delicious food. I'm looking forward to trying more menu items…read moresoon!

Second visit here. Was hoping food would have improved but sadly it hasn't…read more Last time I visited was a few months ago. I had a burger and my daughter had a GF Margarita pizza. I believe the burger patty was the cheap frozen kind you get at Sams or Costco. Her pizza was enjoyable but my burger was way overcooked and bland. Second visit Came here with family. FIL ordered the supreme style pizza and it seemed like none of the peppers or onions were even cooked. I think they were just thrown on the pizza to get it out to the table. I had the philly and again it was way overcooked and the inside of the bun was burnt. My son got a burger even though I warned him of my last experience. Yeah he was disappointed as well. Daughter got the GF cheese pizza. Most everything was lukewarm to cold when it got to the table. The fries were so overdone there was almost no potato left inside. It seems like GF pizza is about the only thing that is done well here. Our server was very nice and she did a great job! You seriously need to train your kitchen staff to cook and not burn stuff. For the prices you should be making stuff fresh and not using frozen from Sysco. Do yourselves a favor and go to a chain restaurant or something. Drive out of your way to avoid this place.
