I stopped by to get half off drinks and used my app, my app was being very difficult. My drinks took longer than the app said. I pulled into a stall to pick up and it said my items were on the way and then I still had to press the button to get a hold of someone to bring it out. Then they forgot one of the drinks. The guy was very nice and brought it out right away but forgetting my one drink and then I think it's wrong. I don't always stop by but these are the reasons why. read more

This Sonic was one of the worst experiences that I've ever had eating at a fast food restaurant. First the menu is too small and it's difficult to read for passengers in the car. The next thing that bothered me was they took too long getting back to us after we signaled that we were ready to order. The team member who was supposed to be waiting on us was in the restroom and we knew this because he walked by our car on the way to the restroom. Then he returned from the restroom with a bathroom key in his hand and indicated he was ready to take our order. What bothered me was the fact that the employee restroom was outside of the restaurant building. So next we told them that we wanted to split our order and they told us that we would need to ring for assistance a second time if we want to place another order. After that I tried to order and found out that they don't take ApplePay. At one point in time they accidentally hit the microphone to the menu and we could hear them talking and the entire experience was miserable and the team here was very unprofessional. We also chose this restaurant so that we could be in and out in a timely manor. I ordered a double smash burger and a medium strawberry milkshake. The burger was terrible, it was very greasy, flavorless, and very salty, so I didn't finish it. My shake was the only good thing about this entire trip. The total for my food was approximately $14.50. I can literally go to a buffet at a 4.5 star restaurant on Yelp for that amount of money. I would not recommend this Sonic location. Sonic makes great hotdogs! Their food came out fast and hot. I haven't tried the ice cream here, but the cherry limeade is always my go to

I'm not one to complain typically but we were extremely disappointed in our meal. The grease that was in the bottom of the tot container was dark brown and obviously very old. The burgers had an "old" after taste like the grill hadn't been cleaned and the bun was soggy. The onion rings even tasted old. And the cherry limeaids tasted off. Spent $23 and some change on two meals and was only able to eat maybe half. read more

Placed our order of a number 14 no cheese, sausage and a number 16, not even 2 minutes later our order came out and when we asked if it was fresh or pre made we were told that everything was made fresh here. Nothing but fricken lies!!!!!!! The tots were cold, the wrap was hot on the outside luke warm on the inside and the eggs were rubbery. Mixed notes on this one. I'm spoiled - I had burgers from Sonic #7 back in the 1980s. This one lacks consistency on occasion - I live practically around the corner and sometimes they get it right and sometimes not. I'm not just saying this because this was a "not" time I've been there - I've been there many times. In this case, I'd picked up an order for myself and a couple of friends - one of whom had specifically ordered a Deluxe Jr. Cheeseburger with no pickles - and when I brought it back (I don't open everyone's food packages on the way back), she had gotten a double-cheeseburger plain. Well, since I had I still had the car keys in my hand at the time, I drove back with the receipt and they made it right - and nicely and fresh and everything. Kudos to them for fixing it, although they have could have gotten it right in the first place. This is unusual for this Sonic location - most times they are pretty top-notch for a fast-food place. The chicken sandwich was a bit dry (okay, more than a bit) - so I guess today they were slacking or had a new person on staff or were just having a bad day and maybe I pulled in at the wrong time... I was a short-order cook a million years ago and so I thought I'd mention this today. Their on-site manager made it right in a flash with a fresh one cooked-to-order so I'm not gonna complain. As I said, mixed review - probably depends on who is on staff at the time. All I know is that yeah, they made a mistake - but they fixed it poste-haste and did it well. it is a shame you spend good money just to get old , cold crappy food. I went there yesterday and ordered chicken and i literally got little tiny pieces of burnt and old chicken . I cant believe they would have the balls to actually serve that. Someone should be a boss and say after rush hour we need to get rid of this old food. Instead they serve it. Ok we came here after watch a laser show at Brevard Community College and I was not so crazy about the place. It was too empty and the atmosphere felt unsafe. A plus was that the food came out quickly and tasted fresh. The attendee was really nice and made sure we had everything we need. read more

I did like the food here. It is good, solid fast food. That said, they are definitely frying entirely in PEANUT oil, and use peanuts in their shakes. I didn't know this, as 99% of fast food places no longer use peanut oil at all, and it never occurred to me that my chocolate shake might have peanut in it. I have an allergy and spent the next 24 hours in quite a digestively pyrotechnic state. That's nothing against the food, but I think they should make it more apparent that they use peanut in everything. Drinks and food. Of all local Brevard sonics this is the best. The make the best tots, nice and crispy. Our order is always right and the oil never tastes rancid. Not the same for the titusville sonic worst tots ever. The whole order is less then stellar the times we were there. Merritt island sonic is new so they mess up often but are getting better. Melbourne sonic breakfast burrito had huge chunks of salt in it, they kept remaking it but was the same. Claimed they dont add salt. But all orders since then were good. So as with all fast food some times its great and sometimes its not. We love the drink selection and that they have sprite zero! We add strawberries and mango to it, love love love sonic! The Cocoa sonic might be dicey the later it gets so go in the daytime if that concerns you. read more

Worst service I have ever had. Stopped in for a shake. Ordered a vanilla and a chocolate cream pie. Waited 20 minutes finally came out and the girl said oh I brought you 2 vanillas is that ok I said no so she said I guess I could take it back and try to but some chocolate in it. I asked if she could just go ahead and make it a chocolate jalapeño and she said she souls have to charge me more I told her they were all the same price so she goes back 30 minute later she comes out with my shake it has a hint of chocolate in it I had to wait 10 minutes to catch her and I got out of the car and showed her on the menu board that a vanilla shake is white and a chocolate shake is brown so I waited another 20 minutes while she proceeds to tell me their shake machine has broken down NEVER AGAIN read more

Came here for half price shakes with the family.. it took forever even though it wasn't busy and we had to go up and ask about our shakes.. when Jada finally brought them out they were melted. Even the whipped cream was melted! I told her they were melted and she said "oh yeah that's just how they are for half price shakes... They don't come out thick". Seriously?? We had to have them remake them which took another 15 minutes. It was absurd. The service was garbage and the shakes were half hearted at best.. very dissapointed. read more

It's a Sonic - excellent, cheap food with that fun drive-in setting. I've order via drive-thru, at the pull-in menus and at the tables. Service is always fast and friendly. For being a few years old, the place remains clean. I recommend it as an alternative for fast food, just for their drink selection alone. read more

They have really good drinks and great snacks. But this will be my 4th time trying to go to this sonic and only to be turned away because of equipment issues. But this time was surprising. Once I made it to the window, because the speaker system was not working. I was advised that the icy machine, milkshake machine, ice machine and the credit card machine were all down. Always great service in the early morning to afternoon because of Keely in the drive-thru. Not only is she always pleasant while providing great and thorough service, she's incredibly gorgeous...She should be a model:) If you're over in the Clearlake Rd./Dixon Blvd. area in the mornings and you need that coffee to get you goin', stop at Sonic.
