This Sonic is just down the road from CCU and I happily found myself there late-night a few times in my college days. Lately, I don't eat sonic very often, but a friend and I were helping her Aunt out with some stuff around the house and we wanted some ice cream at the end of the night. Sonic was the only thing still open and was half a mile away so I went for it. It was a weekend evening so there were a bunch of youngsters clogging up the drive-thru #GetOffMyLawn so it took a little longer to get my order, but they were polite the whole way through. It was the perfect end to a long day and I was thankful they were open. The next day we were again doing some spring cleaning around the house and we kinda missed lunch. With dinner plans on the horizon, we didn't want to spoil it, but also had to eat something before heading to the grocery store or I would be broke afterward. Y'all, I'm not proud to say this, but I went to Sonic twice in two days! And I don't regret it (well maybe later on) because that foot long chilli cheese coney dog was just what I needed to hold me over until dinner. read more

Painfully slow, would not recommend this location as a quick stop and go at all. Sitting in the drive through not moving for 10 minutes makes you wonder what's going on inside. That being said, staff is so sweet and my lunch order was correct for all three members in my car. Food tasted great! read more

Almost offensive to believe the two carry the same name. Like the favorite child, this Sonic sits quietly, unsuspecting, among the rest. Every burger is delicately crafted and perfectly stacked like a Jenga tower fresh out of the box. Picked straight out of the marketing ads the meals produced are ready for your terrible and unsolicited Instagram posts. Friendly are the staff, but not passively friendly. In every sense of the word they are cordial and in a time so dark in retail history I applaud their success. Seven times we have visited and only once a small mistake was made. Of all the fast food burger joints in the world, Sonic is the best, hands-down. Coming from New York I did not know the wonders of Sonic until moving down to South Carolina. It blows everything else away. The burgers and hot dogs are delicious. There are also a ton of choices for sides if you're not a fan of fries...the tater tots are awesome! The other great thing about Sonic is the drinks. Instead of getting just a soda, you can get a shake, a limeade, a flavored fountain drink, or others. I love the cherry limeade. Best part is that you don't even need to get out of the car. You just pull up to a parking spot, place your order, and the server will skate to your car soon after with your food. We've been there quite a few times since we came down and are always looking forward to our next lunch outing there. read more

I go to Sonic quite frequently! Went to the cf blvd one for a while but this location is now closer to my house. No matter which Sonic I go to I've always had to check my hamburger to see if theres cheese on it because 8/10 times there is and I send it back being that I can not eat cheese!! Today I went to this Sonic and got a #1 HAMBURGER plain, pull up to the window and got my food. I proceeded to check my food before driving away per usual and there was cheese on it! So I give it back to the guy at the window, he gives me a burger back and I drove away! Every time I go to Sonics I have a bad experience. I only had to go because the people I was with wanted to so I had to suffer. The first time I had to stand outside in the cold and order because all the spots were taken and you can't go inside.... GREAT concept. The food is terrible and greasy and it's a typical fast food place with grade D meat. I got a limeade which never mentioned that it was carbonated and since I hate carbonation I couldn't even drink with my meal. So I went to this location Friday night and asked for extra cheese on both of my hotdogs. If I ask for extra of something and am paying money for it I expect to have it on whatever I ask for. Am I the only one? Needless to say no extra cheese for me on either one. Some of it ended up on the bottom of the cardboard and not on the hotdog. Unfortunately having them remake it would have been too much of a hassle so I had to settle for eating what I didn't pay for. I don't like to make a scene at places like this because no matter what I do, it will be the same. I just don't understand how difficult it is to just do what customers ask when we order and not present an attitude about it. It's not just this location, but all of them in this area.
