We have been here twice and we have been to many Jersey Mikes on the east coast and we are from NJ and this is the worst Jersey Mikes we have ever been to. The staff play music so loud, that you cannot hear them and they cannot hear you when you try to order, they constantly say, "what?". one team member is more interested in dancing and singing to the loud music, maybe she thinks she is in a club. Brown lettuce, sandwich not cut all the way and one team member seems to enjoy dragging the metal chairs loudly around the restaurant. Thankfully the 1550 FARROW PKWY MYRTLE BEACH, location is better. someone from your corporate office should retain the staff or make changes. We will not go back. read more

Let me begin with, I love Jersey Mikes typically. I'd argue they have one of the best subs around. Whilst on our last vacation, we wanted a familiar meal. I visited in the off season and the place was dead. I was greeted with "what do you need", well, I need a sub. The look of distain of me entering the building was remarkable. This guy was genuinely disgusted I was coming in. I told him my order, his eyes never left the TV where a football game was playing. I watched him cut the meat/cheese with body language reflecting his miserableness. I stood in complete silence. When it came to top the subs, he pointed to the toppings inaudibly, where I made my requests. Every topping was old, wilted and the place was in shambles. He forgot the mayo, I mentioned it and he proceeded to squirt mayo all over the sub to punish me for his ignorance. He then summoned an equally, if not more miserable woman from the back who rang me up without saying one word. The subs were shit. Minimal meat, old toppings and assembled with not one single care that someone was going to eat it. This location should be closed. Corporate needs to do a better job and monitoring these stores. For $40+ for two subs, they need to have a consistent product and at the minimum a good experience for their customers. read more

I went in with myself and my daughter. We went to order our food. The woman did not even speak with us. She had us waiting while she was doing an online order, which is fine. We waited, then they proceeded to ask me what I would like and I wanted half-and-half and it was a whole big ordeal and then I tried to explain why there was barely any meat on our sandwich And they said this is what it is. We've been to another JERSEY MIKES the first time in this one between the rudeness and then I'm also a veteran they questioned me because I don't have my actual idea. I had my other ID card for my medical which has veteran and all my information and they need to touch it even so I would never recommend this place. They are rude. They're incompetent. They do not know how to do their job the manager is even more rude than the people working and they don't even give you what's supposed to be on the sandwich. Then my daughter, who's my dependent they tried to question her and also they just wrapped her food up without even asking what she wanted on it, which is absolutely ridiculous. How are you supposed to eat the food if you don't have what you need on it and then that was a whole other issue, they literally had to open the whole sandwich up and put the fixings in. That should've been done. They just don't they could shove it in the bag and give it to us. All in all unfortunately is very unprofessional. It wasn't even clean. Comparing Sub shops we have eaten at among various communities, this is 'average'. Timing was late much, not quite dinner. We ordered subs to eat whole there. WOW! Don't recommend eating in their place. Trash on the floor, restroom also "well used". Food was good. A bit different than most sub shops, but expected and hoped for some originality. When on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC (off-season) we didn't know things shut down very quickly. We stopped at a Jersey Mikes on King St. There was another couple dining in the store, we had 30-minutes until closing and we just wanted a Tuna Sub (they are the bomb). The guy who took our order was VERY nice and helpful (even laughed at my jokes) the young lady was pleasant. Jersey Mike's Subs is a sub chain that I believe exist all over at least the East Coast. They have a good man you in three different size Subs small regular and giant size. They say the small feeds one person the regular to in the super size four people. They specialize in chicken Cheesesteaks Philly cheesesteaks and then have your standard Italian turkey and provolone ham and provolone chicken salad veggie buffalo chicken etc etc. The hand cut all the meats on premises and build your subs in front of you which I like very much. $17 for 3 Subs but I had a buy one get one free coupon so Subs are around eight 8:50 a piece which is about typical price. I will say that their size and how many it feeds is off. The regular that feeds 2 is like a 7" sub. read more

Visited while on vacation during Christmas break. Got a Giant Italian sub and a couple of chocolate brownies. The sub was made fresh and the only small complaint would be that the cheese is pretty skimpy portion sized for the $13+ cost of this sub. They should be whole pieces not half and quarter sized. Value is important and I have had way bigger portions at other Jersey Mike's across the country. But service was very friendly and the store was clean. The only reason that this is a 3 star and not a 4 is that the brownies were honestly crap. Both were hard, crumbling when opened and tasted like it was old. It had no redeeming value whatsoever. I'd stop here again for a sandwich if back in the area but I wouldn't write any books about it being a favorite place. read more

Ordered thru GrubHub. No area in the GrubHub app to add lettuce tomato and Mayo to the Steak and Cheese. Tried calling the store to ask them to add it. Finally on the 4th try they answered and I was able to get the toppings on the side. Up the hourly pay rate and hire a few more employees. This location is so different from the other Myrtle Beach locations. I asked for a little lettuce and a little oil and the lady put 2 metric tons of lettuce and enough oil to fry an entire turkey. My party of 6 has heard nothing but good things about Jersey Mike's Subs so we decided to stop here to grab sandwiches for lunch. I can't believe how disappointed we all were. They put barely any meat onto our sandwiches and wraps and for over $7 for a regular sub you'd think the portions would be substantially bigger. The selection itself is weak, they only offer provolone and Swiss cheeses, they did not cut one of the sandwiches, and their topping selection is also small. It's sad to say but I think I'd prefer Subway even though Jersey Mike's cold cuts are fresh, I'd just prefer to feel full and get my money's worth. read more

First of all I ate here on a Wed afternoon and I enjoyed it so much I was back on Friday to get the same thing. I've been looking for a delicious steak and cheese sub in Myrtle Beach since I moved here a year ago and this place did not disappoint. My sub had plenty of meat and cheese but I also added the lettuce, tomato and pepper relish and it was outstanding both times. I would also like to point out that the staff was friendly and welcoming and I can't wait to do it again. If you want a good S&C you have to give this places try. So I went back as I said I would and I ordered another Steak&Cheese sub, it did not disappoint, it was just as good as the first and second one I ordered a couple of weeks ago. The food is awesome as always. Last night three of us went to this location around 7:30ish. When we walked it no one was out behind the counter waiting, the floors were mopped, and the trash was taken out. When the woman came out she looked at us like we had five heads, almost like "What are you doing here? I wanted to be lazy the rest of the night." She took our orders in a hurriedly fashion. Two of us wanted the cheesesteaks and they usually ask us what toppings we want to add before they cook them since they wrap them up in foil after they cook them and don't send them down the line. This women did not ask us what toppings we wanted. Granted, I could have over talked and probably gotten her to write them down, but I'm too nice to butt in. Then a male worker comes out and decides he's going to make the cold sub the third person ordered. While the woman is still cooking our cheesesteaks we check out and get our drinks. The tea had been put away for the night. I should note this location closes at 9 PM. It's more than an hour before that at this time. Whatever. The woman finishes our sandwiches, and the whole time I hope she doesn't wrap them yet and just brings them over to the toppings. She wraps them and comes out from behind the counter to give them to us. She says "Did you want something on it?".... I tell her I wanted honey mustard and other person wanted mayo. I'm thinking about all the cheese that is stuck to the bread and how hard it will be to get our stuff on these sandwiches. She gives us packets of mayo and a packet of honey mustard salad dressing. I'm wondering why is this stuff packed up already? This isn't the first time I've walked into a Jersey Mike's in Myrtle Beach well before closing and felt like I was in the wrong place because they employees wanted to shut down early. I cannot believe it has taken me so long to try Jersey Mike's. I was tempted by the #17 Philly cheese steak but decided on the #56 which adds more cheese and includes mushrooms and Jalapeños. I have to say it was outstanding but a little too heavy on the Jalapeños for my taste. They were slammed right after I arrived but the team worked quite well to fill all orders. The only problem was on the flat top. The woman at that station was working full steam. Since many of their subs require a flat top, you would think they would get a bigger one. read more

Order a giant club sub with double meat and I've eaten at enough Jersey Mikes to know that a giant sub gets 5 slices of everything. So to start with we got 5 half slices of provolone and then we got 8 slices of ham and 7 slices of turkey. That doesn't add up to double, she then claimed it's done by weight so 5 slices of turkey weighs the same as 2? Another employee came out of the back and got really snotty about it, saying jersey mikes doesn't do double meat, but yet you then in turn charged me for that double meat that you supposedly don't do.. this is poor service at best. read more
