It's fairly small and I imagine it would get busy on a hot, scorching summer day. The staff member who took our order was super helpful, bubbly, and patient answering questions. And while the ice cream was great (pro tip: Dark Cherry!) the star of the show was the Italian Cream cake. My wife saw it and immediately had to have a slice with our ice cream (OK, we actually took it back to the hotel) and was really the reason we had to go back the next night (another piece of cake). I don't need to tell you how taking a bite of this cake causes the heavens to open, the angels to sing, and my heart to be happy! OK, as a diabetic the rest of my body may not have been very happy, but whatever. ;) A truly great experience from beginning to end. Staff, products, ambiance was all great and not only worthy of a 2nd night trip, but honestly my reason for heading back from Atlanta. They have what feels like every Blue Bell flavor you could ask for, and choosing just one is almost impossible. The scoops are enormous! Every time I go, I tell myself I'm only getting one or two scoops. Then I end up ordering three because it's just that good. Somehow, after finishing it, I'm already thinking about what flavor I'm getting on my next visit. This is one of those places you have to experience for yourself. The first one was much more like milk and the second was perfect. Nothing really stood out about the flavors or service. The shop was very crowded and it waited quite some time to place our order but we walked away happy. We'll be back next summer.
