I pulled into Sonic around 2:40 PM and didn't get my food until 3:13 PM. The wait times here have always been on the slower side, but usually the food makes up for it -- it's hot and cooked well. Sometimes the fries come out a bit overcooked, so this time I asked for them to be undercooked -- thankfully I did, because they still came out pretty crunchy. I ordered my usual crispy chicken sandwich with extra pickles and extra mayo. Unfortunately, it only had two pickles and didn't taste quite as fresh as when I get it earlier in the day. My kids ordered a cheeseburger and a chicken tender kids' meal, and those were made correctly -- they loved them! One thing worth mentioning: there were no kids' toys included in the meals. I'm really glad I checked before handing them out, because I have two autistic girls (ages 5 and 4), and missing something like that can really throw them off. I mentioned it to the manager, who kindly offered each of them a small 1 oz pack of Nerds or M&M's instead. That small gesture made a big difference, and I really appreciated her understanding and kindness. My oldest even said, "I really wanted a toy, but Nerds will be awesome!" If I could give zero stars I would. The worst establishment I've ever experienced in my whole life. There's always a problem with the food or discrepancy in pricing from app, to menu to when you pay in person. Feels scammy. Nobody who works there gives a crap about you, your food, your order or anything. I'm not even asking for top tier service, it's simple things like getting an order correct or even acknowledgement that you exist as a customer. Managers don't care, so naturally nobody else does. The line is 25-30 minutes every time regardless if there's 1 car or 7. I don't even like leaving negative reviews, but I genuinely don't have a clue why they are still open. read more

After going here today for lunch and giving another updated review. Five stars for the service of the young lady who served us. They are perpetually short staffed but I cannot fault them for that. Because of this, they have drive-through only except for a couple of spots. But you need to order with the app. I pulled in, installef the app, and placed my order. It was out fast enough, and it was exactly what we wanted. It's nice to get an order that's accurate the first time from a fast food restaurant. We said in this beautiful weather with our windows down, enjoying our burgers and tots. They have outside seating and people were sitting there and eating too. They have redeemed themselves and are getting five stars. read more

After trying to figure out what my husband and I are going to order, he pressed the button to order. We were told they're temporarily close because they have a leak. I know things happen, but it would have been nice if they put a closed sign on the driveway or something. Will I go back? Not sure why one of the ladies working on 6/8/25 was so upset and talking so rude to the customers, but kindness goes a long way. If you have issues with things that don't involve the customers don't take out your frustrations on them. I ordered the footlong hotdog with chili and cheese combo and it was so good. The tater tots were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside plus, they had the right amount of salt. I had the Mango Sprite since they don't have pineapple and it was delicious. My daughter had the buffalo popcorn chicken and she loved them. They had the right amount of heat for her. read more

Order two Crispy chicken sandwiches. Both came back raw. Nobody on staff knew how to handle the situation so we have to complain to the national office to get a response and refund. Raw chicken can be very dangerous to consume. This is how restaurants get shut down by poisoning patrons. The cook didn't even care what they were cooking because they even put tartar sauce on one of the chicken sandwiches. Will not go to this location again. This is the 3rd time my husband & I come here and every time our experience has been WORSE! First two times they messed up our orders and today we waited 30mins after our order & called then again asking for a status update; they apologized & said it's on its way 15mins pass still NOTHING. Yet 4 other cars that got there after us have been served. I was so pissed! I would have called them again but WHY? So they can spit on my food or make me wait another 15mins? I love Sonic. The service was quick, my order was correct. And a sweet boy named Dakota, brought me my order. He was really nice and held a conversation with me about Danville and where the old Sonic used to be. I love hearing about the heritage and such of towns I visit, so I enjoyed talking with him. He is the main reason I'm giving 5/5. I recommend the chili cheese coney dog and the lemonade slushes adding the cherry flavoring. Horrible extended wait time in drive-thru from someone answering the speaker to getting food at the window. I repeated my order at the window since the woman didn't get it earlier and they still messed my order up. Food wasn't good at all. Tasted as if though it had been sitting around all day. Had a great breakfast there this morning. We couldn't go into a "sit down " restaurant because we had our mini schnauzer puppy (12 weeks old and 3.5 lbs) in the car with us. We were headed to Pet-smart to get a new harness but Pet-smart doesn't open until 9A so we had time to kill. Our sever and her manager brought out a snack for our pup while my wife and I were eating breakfast (and sharing our breakfast with her already). That was above and beyond.
