On 5/25/26 at 2pm. I went to my son double and I chicken sandwich. Is Smashburger be OK but my chicken sandwich was literally swimming in grease. I took one bite and realized it was totally inedible. Nobody acknowledged us at the drive in for several minutes. We chose to left and went to the drive in. When mentioned about not being acknowledged in the drive in there was nothing said. Total time in the drive-thru 20 minutes for 2 drinks!! The drinks are absolutely not right. A blue raspberry slush is nothing but mix. Sat at stall 18 for about 10 minutes after pushing the red button. People pulled up after me and they had their order taken quickly and just left because I don't want to waste my time. I think they need help because they can't keep up with 5 cars at the stalls also saw another car pull off that never got their order taken. Would leave ZERO STARS if that was an option. I guess this location is becoming somewhat dysfunctional, because they're shorthanded, and nobody seems to care about customer service. My husband came home with my order and I thought that there were no napkins with it; then I noticed that they blended in all too well against my paper tray, as they were underneath my fries. I don't like my napkins greasy! I called them and told the girl (who answered) about my greasy napkins and that I didn't understand what was going on in the world anymore; that I don't get napkins a lot of times from drive throughs and now I have to deal with greasy ones. I also told her that I don't think I should have to wipe my greasy face with greasier napkins!! I should not have to use up our napkins! I order food and I expect clean napkins to come with it! Is that too much to ask??!? She told me, "That's just how we pack the orders." I said it didn't make sense to do that, that it's stupid, and that I wanted to talk to a manager. She relayed this information twice to a manager, because I could hear her in the background. Next thing I know, I got hung up on so I called back twice only to have the phone ring and ring and ring because they decided they should ignore my phone call. I guess I'm just a psycho who expects better customer service than McDonald's, who is actually--themselves--learning to keep the damned napkins away from the fries. The Sonic drive thru, if you've not been -- as I had not, is 1950s-ish as you park along side the menu board. You order and wait - all whoke in PARK, and not -- gas brake gas brake gas brake and go. I would not suggest that you eat here. Food is not even mediocre. I went last night to get the chicken tender dinner and as you can tell, it looks like it has been reheated several times. I call back and FRANK, the "alleged" manager, attempts to educate me on how it's the "same thing".. I explain to him that someone should have told me they were out of patties and let me decide. I asked what he would do to make it right, he said "nothing, it's not like you're not going to eat the sandwich". I always would buy ice from Sonic, love there ice. I went there a couple weeks ago. They said they did not have enough ice to sell. So I went to the one down the street in next city and got some. So I go again today, the girl said that there ice machine isn't working and they were "out" of ice. Hard to believe seeing everyone there getting drinks with ice in it. Save yourself a headache and drive to the Ladson location. This place is run by very rude staff. Only one young lady who works there isn't rude. The 5 or six times we went we thought they were upset because Our window was broken, but we got a new car and still the service is lacking. We had to drive back one night because they didn't put ice cream into out shake, we began to drive away and found that they hadn't put it in a second time and instead filled it with bananas and whip cream. This was a few moments before they closed, so maybe they thought they were being funny, but we didn't find it comical at all. We drove up and the manager on duty came outside to our car to tell us they were closed. We told her that we wanted a refund, the owner/General managers name, or a shake that was actually shake. She came back out a few minutes later and handed me the shake and a mint. (My breath was fine) She didn't offer an apology at all. she just handed it to me and walked away.
