Just popped into Perkins Restaurant & Bakery at Summerville and got this to satisfy ! The quesadilla was warm and had that melty cheese goodness . The French fries were crispy and deliciously seasoned , while the sauce on the side had an additional taste boost .

Perkins is like the All-American diner. Service was good. Restaurant was clean with an average noise level. We went there for pie and coffee. I got the apple caramel pie. My husband got the chocolate silk pie. Both tasted good but the crust was a little under done. Didn't take a picture of my apple pie because it was not picture worthy.

Weight staff was very good very attentive and provided all of our needs. Service.8 out of 10, the quality of food and portions 8 out of 10, atmosphere 7 out of 10. Overall, Perkins is a reliable restaurant for service and quality.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Crisper Tangy, sweet, and savory, this is the perfect dessert or breakfast for the non-dessert person.

I hadn't eaten from Perkins in decades. The location my family used to go to occasionally isn't there anymore, that's how long it's been. But hubby wanted sweets and I wanted a meal, and Ubereats offered up this Perkins and after perusing the menu, the irresistible pie and cake slices drew hubby's eye, and mine stopped at Eggs Benedict. The order was in. The Benedict was so amazing for delivery. The eggs were perfectly cooked, with proud molten yolks atop ready for piercing. The Hollandaise on the side had gone a bit chunky, but I shook up the container and it poured on the glory. The hashbrowns were not good. They were bitter like old grease. I drowned them in the rest of the Hollandaise and ketchup and ate them because I hate to waste food. My side of a muffin I intended for breakfast the next morning was not in the order. We'll blame Ubereats and not my driver, but my husband's Peanut Butter Silk pie also did not arrive, and my driver was chubby LOL Ubereats made it right and luckily hubby's Chocolate Overload cake arrived and was so rich and deep with flavor he didn't need the pie. I also got the Strawberry and Cream Cheese Crispers, and while the menu picture showed 3, only 2 were in the box. But they were pleasantly warm, savory-sweet, the perfect dessert for a non-dessert person. I left one for hubby but if he doesn't eat it, it's my breakfast for work tomorrow, since I missed out on the muffin this morning. Excuse the ugly pic, the powdered sugar disappeared but this is from overnight in the fridge and it will absolutely be delicious warmed tomorrow with coffee at work. What a treat! Not perfect, but I would order again. Those EGGS! Chef kisses to the chef!

I'm not sure why this place is not rated higher. The place is clean and the service is always great. It's a chain but it's a good breakfast spot with big portions for a good price. I really enjoy the omelettes. The giant muffins are a must takeout!

Met five friends for brunch. I was the last to arrive and greeter immediately pointed me to where my friends were seated. Server impressed me by not writing a single order down but got every one of them correct...how we each wanted our eggs, sides, extras. Eggs were made exactly the way I requested...over medium, solid white, runny yolk. I rarely need to add salt and pepper when I dine out but I had to...so depending on your preference this could be a good or bad thing. One thing I didn't care for at all is they cut open and toast biscuits. The butter they put on did not taste fresh at all. Unfortunately, that stale taste stayed with me for hours. Would have preferred the biscuits right out of the pan. They do have a nice bakery cabinet so even if you don't have time to dine, you can pick up a muffin or piece of pie on your way to work.

This has been a staple And one of our favorite places for years, but lately w heave noticed a change in food quality. The eggs Benedict is a favorite...not sure if they ran out of Canadian bacon but it was just some deli meat ham thrown on the bread... also the hollandaise sauce was limited. They changed their breakfast potatoes which were sadly flavorless. We also got the brioche French toast and substituted the eggs for extra meat. Always great service and they definitely get busy in the mornings. They do have some incredible sweet tea.

First time here. I had the Steak & Peppers Skillet and it was a lot better than I expected. The steak was very good and went well with the mushroom and potatoes. We came where with a very large group and the staff was nice and on top of things.

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery on Old Trolley Road in Summerville is a great place to go for good quality food in a relaxed and family atmosphere. This Perkins has been consistent in their quality throughout the years and is always has delicious and well prepared food. I like getting their breakfast items during all times of the day and their sandwiches. Their bakery items are also good and I always seem to get some muffins, cookies, and pies on the way out. They have excellent service here and treat everyone really well and make sure that you have everything that you need. They are well worth a visit for good food and good people.

The Good: The actual BBQ meat, coleslaw, and pickle slices were very good and full of flavor. The Disappointing: Unfortunately, the bottom bun of both sandwiches was completely soaked through with liquid and totally unfit to eat. We had to throw the bottom buns away and eat the sandwiches with a knife and fork, which defeats the purpose of a sandwich. Since we ordered a bit late after the lunch crowd, our onion rings were cold, and the sweet potato fries were cold and limp. We usually order out so we don't have to cook, but I ended up having to reheat both sides in our kitchen. Once they were hot, they were actually pretty good! We didn't want to make another trip back to the restaurant to get it fixed, so we just made the best of it. Verdict: The food definitely has potential, but the takeout packaging and timing missed the mark today. If we decide to try it again, we will definitely "dine in" instead to make sure everything stays fresh.

The parking lot was crowded, which was a good early sign, and the building itself was modern and inviting both inside and out. Unfortunately, from there things did not go smoothly. I gave my name and number to the hostess, who quoted a 20-minute wait. After 30 minutes with no text, I checked back in, but she was heading on break and handed us off to a second hostess. That hostess mispronounced my name, took my number again, and told us there were still 12 parties ahead of us. Another 30 minutes passed, and by that point my wife and I were the only people left waiting. We ended up seating ourselves at two open seats at the outdoor bar, and when I mentioned it to staff, I was told our name and number had never actually made it into the system at all. In total we lost over an hour to what turned out to be a simple tracking failure, handled by three different hostesses along the way. The bar area had more of a sports-bar feel than a restaurant, and the couple seated beside us spent the meal loudly cursing and engaged in PDA, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience for us. To Page's credit, the food itself was genuinely very good, and the portions were generous enough that we couldn't finish our plates. I suspect the kitchen is well run and the front-of-house issues are a byproduct of the location being newer and still working out its systems. We'd happily return for the food, but I'd think twice before dealing with the same wait again.

I have difficulty with steps but there were enough railings to make it navigable for me. The building was likely to have at one time been a small house. There were six of us in our party and we were initially told we would be sharing one bill and the gratuity would be automatically added. A couple of our folks expressed concern and intentionally ordered cheaper items and no drinks to make sure they had adequate funds to split the bill. Fortunately our waitress, who was a joy, did individual bills and did not put on an automatic gratuity. The policy had the potential to seriously reduce the restaurant's income. They should probably rethink this stance. As noted, our waitress was terrific and rapidly got drink and food orders sorted. The menu is pretty short, but probably a good choice for a small pub type restaurant. My wife and I both selected an on-tap local brew, both of which were good and reasonably priced. We both also selected the fish and chips. The order came with a side of cole slaw that was pleasant. The chips were obviously made on site and both properly cooked and well seasoned. We are always surprised at restaurants that serve obviously bagged and frozen fries. The fish itself was reasonably sized and nicely fried. Quite tasty, but we sort of expected good seafood as this is a sister restaurant to a local seafood establishment. For the price the portion sizes of all the meals at the table seemed just a bit small. So we will quite likely return. It's not fancy. It's not high end dining. It's a tad pricey for pub food, but overall pretty good. I note here that had our waitress not been a gem or had they enforced the one check policy, this review would have been a good deal more negative. I suspect they have an accessible entrance but it was not obvious. That may be a consideration for some and checking ahead of time would be prudent.
