I went to this sonic to get three all American hot dogs and a side of mozzarella sticks. I ordered, paid, and waited. And waited. And waited. After 25 min. I asked a waitress that had came out for a different customer how much longer it would take, as the tracker on the screen had disappeared 10 mins ago. She brought my food out right away and apologized. There was nothing on my hot dogs. And there was no ketchup or anything in the bag either. My mozzarella sticks were cold and super greasy. I couldn't be any more disappointed and upset. I will NEVER go to Sonic again. This wasn't the first time something similar had happened at Sonic. Insane. We parked at Sonic and went to the patio area. We pushed the button to order, and the computer immediately started to shut down. The gal came on the speaker and said "it's drive thru only". That's it. At the same time, another employee came out the door with a big sign saying that it is drive thru only. So, we get back in our cars and drive around to the drive thru. The only reason I stayed at this point, was because my grandkids were hungry, and ready to get back to our hotel. I ordered the first combo and asked for the drink to be a shake. Again, she responded with, "the ice cream machine is down, do you want fries or tots?" No apology, just too bad, move on. Are y'all McDonald's now? Your standard response gonna be ice cream broken? Perhaps the drive through is not in working order. On 2 separate occasions I have had to pull up to the window and wait for an employee to ask what I would like. On the first occasion I waited a while and was never prompted to place an order so I drove to the window. I was asked what I wanted, and I ordered an ice cream cone. The employee laughed and said the ice cream machine isn't working. I was passing by this sonic location again on a separate occasion and waited in the drive through in hopes to order a drink. After waiting minutes and experienced the same customer service as the first experience I decided again to pull up to window in hopes to order a drink. After observing a worker walk past the window multiple times without asking what I would like to order I decided to leave. This is by far the worst sonic I have ever experienced. Customer service was terrible. Worker acts like she can't hear me so it feels like I'm yelling out my order. Go to get food at the drive thru and she gives me a drink that was wrong so I tell her and she looks at me like she doesn't want to correct it. Then have to wait for food. She just opens window and says hear you go. No customer service what so ever. I will not go back at night time. I went earlier in the week during the day and service was great so I couldn't wait to go back. I would give this experience a zero if I could. I never do bad reviews but I have to warn people that this was terrible. read more

Horrible drive thru service. Two cars ahead of me and it took 10 minutes to get two drinks.

We were ignored! Literally IGNORED in the stall. Started out in one stall and pushed the button multiple times and no one came over to take the order so we moved thinking it was just the stall not working. Moved to a new stall and still nothing. A car then pulled into the stall we were previously in and writhing 2 minutes they had their order. The girl working the carhop walked passed us multiple times and didn't say anything to us. The food at this sonic is great but the workers didn't seem concerned with working or taking orders! We were there for 30 minutes and saw 3 other cars leave from lack or service! This is a decent Sonic in an unknown small town in Texas. It was a young looking female girl cleaning up and making sure every customer had napkins, ketchup, and straws. I ordered from the dollar menu and the double cheeseburger jr was tasty and the tots were crispy good. Next time I take Hwy 6 to the Dallas area I will probably stop by here if they keep up the decent service. read more

Hot Dog day July 17 2019. Stopped by this Sonic and tried to order the $1 hot dogs. Was told that I could not get the special unless I had an email from Sonic. I asked for the MIC (Manager In Charge). I showed him the add and where I had done all that was to do on the ad however could not get an email back from Sonic. Still I was told that I could not get the special. I said OK however I want the store # for I will file a complaint with Corp. the MIC then said "go ahead however you are not going to get the special". He then went inside and gave the store # to me through the ordering system. And to make his point that he had the power over me comes out with the lame "you have a blessed day" Now I did write Corp. and I get an email from the "general manager" of the store......NOT FROM corp. And to make things worst; come to find out that the MIC did have the power to give the special with seeing the ad however decided to use his power to insult me in front of two of my employees. After reading the other reviews I cannot see why this store has not had a major employee clearing out. Laziness is like the plague. it spreads to everyone and less you start clean it hangs around and infect the new employees. However here, there are 2 problems. This store, and Corp. (A) Corp for having a special and making one jump through loops to get (not sure that is legal in TX and will be calling the AG office about it), (B) Corp not taking care of this problem...Sorry to say I am now a former customer of all Sonic, and I have just become to scratch. read more

Ordered food for my family when passing through, and regretted it. My burger tasted old and was really dry. A few hours later I ended up with a stomach ache, and I do not have a sensitive stomach. I'm really irritated. I live outside Hearne and went to Sonic today. I'm so disappointed in them. I was missing an order of large tots and I ordered tots w/chz. There was no cheese on these tots. I ordered a large sweet tea and got UNsweet tea. I called and I got nothing. Nothing was resolved. I'm probably not going back. I'd rather drive 30 miles to Bryan to get my order correct. read more

I would definitely not recommend this place. 1. When I pulled up to the window the lady couldn't hear what I said so she said "Can you pull up to the window"? In a very utterly rude way.. And after I placed my order they started messing around and playing with eachother. I would recommend going to a different fast food place or find a different sonic. read more

Worst fast food experience ever. The card machine system went down during our visit, and the manager at Sonic physically took our food out of our car after making us wait twenty minutes to run a card on multiple machines and made us give the receipt back so she could count food items to ensure we didn't steal any, even though the food was half eaten and couldn't be re-sold. There was no apology or kindness. It was honestly just rude and unacceptable. Both the carhop and manager were just awful. Do not come here, you will only waste time and gas. read more

Bad service, they charge extra for anything, including the chocolate that goes into the chocolate milkshake. When you order a chocolate milkshake, you should pay the price it says on the menu, but I was told that was not the price they have to charge extra for anything that goes in them. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! This place is just plain disgusting. I have lived here for 17 years and I cannot remember a time that the food was even mediocre. It's always cold and nasty. Oh and the staff? I normally stop at Whataburger for my Jalapeno Cheeseburger when I am traveling. My second choice is Sonic. Going from Houston to Waco I missed my Whataburger in College Station so I stopped at the Sonic in Hearne. WOW what a great Jalapeno Cheeseburger!!! So I stopped there again on another trip. The same experience. FANTASTIC. Bun is warm, meat, cheese, tomatoes and Jalapeno were just perfect. Will be planning on this anytime I am going through Hearne. My wife is a regular Cheeseburger and enjoyed it as well. read more
