My wife and I stopped to get something to eat at the Sonic Burger in Hemet, CA. it was hard trying to hear the young person because the music Speaker were right over our Station and I couldn't hear the employee. I had to tell her more than 5 times to make a plan Hot Dog with Onions, Relish and Mustard. I order the Footlong Combo and Onion Rings. after trying to get our order straight I tried to pay using my ATM and it just wouldn't take my card. Then when we got our food they forgot to get my wife's Hot Dog and once again I had to deal with the young girl once again and she kept rushing me once again. I told the girl when she came to our SUV and told to take my Footlong and throw it away because I they added Relish which I didn't ask for and just pissed that she didn't even try to apologize or replace my Footlong. Every time I go here I get good service and good junk food. I recommend the cherry coke here, its to die for! I also get onion rings or tator-tots instead of fries. If you aren't too keen on eating in your vehicle, you can sit at one of the outside tables (Sonic doesn't have a dining room), otherwise you eat inside your car. read more

Total fail on drive threw order. The Mrs. Order was totally fkd up. She ordered her popcorn chicken nuggets and fries, regular since no one asked about if she wanted sauce or not. Is this place going downhill? I usually get okay to meh service every time I visit, but today my experience was simply bad. My family & I decided to use the Drive-thru, because, you know, we wanted it on the go, pronto. I was expecting a 3-5 minute wait; but it ended up being 15 minutes long. 15 minutes of our vehicle parked outside the window, waiting for our food. Then when we got our order, it turned out they didn't add the second burger that we ordered. We had to explain to the guy multiple times: we ordered TWO number ones, & ONE number two (two cheeseburgers, one double cheeseburger.) Now you're probably thinking "but that's too complicated an order" no. Its really not. At least I really don't think it is. How can you not understand that we wanted two number ones & one number Two? This is their menu after all, I thought it was simple to understand. So we had to order an EXTRA burger, & wait, oh, I don't know, 7 more minutes, for ONE simple cheeseburger. They weren't even busy in the dining areas, (& I can see why.) After the 7 minutes waiting in Azkaban, we FINALLY got our burger; but not after 3-4 cars waiting behind us ended up getting fed up & passed our vehicle, glaring at my family & I like its our fault they were waiting too long. Had the service members been a tiny bit courteous to us, I would have put two stars, but no. I give it one star, because not ONLY was the service painfully slow, but the person who served us was completely aggravating. My dad tried to explain to him that our order was wrong, but the guy continued to rudely interrupt him & tell him that the order was right. It was literally like arguing with a child. Not to mention it was obvious he just wanted us gone. I get that people working in the food industry work hard & have to deal with people worse than us; & I really do appreciate what they do, & I try to be as courteous to them as they are to me. Tonight we sat in the drive-thru for 50 mins. We pulled in at 7:26 and did not get to the window until 8:18. There were 5-6 cars in front of us. We only ordered a shake and two small Blasts. In addition, when we received our drinks, they were all three melted due to waiting for so long. When asked why it took so long, we were told that an order before ours was done wrong, it was a large order, and they complained which resulted in a long wait time in order to correct the order and speak to a manager. Why couldn't our order be brought to us like they brought out two orders ahead of ours and even an order behind us! Do better. We wait for almost an hour and everything was melted. There was no way I was going back and waiting longer. This Sonic needs to take some tips from Chic-fil-a or In-N-Out: two establishments that have 2-3x the amount of patrons in line but get your order not only completed faster but also correct. read more

First time.... 8-30-13 Heading to San Diego, We stopped here to get a cheap, quick bite. Burgers were expensive (5-6 bucks) for what they looked like so we passed on those. We each settled for a hot dog. A bit over $2.00 each seemed fair. Tasty enough. I got the pretzel bun with cheese and bacon on top. (I know, I know, Bad ) but pretty good. The husband got the Chicago dog... He loved it.. & we shared a large lime slushy.. That was delicious.. $7.00 out the door. The server walked up on us, No skates.. :( It was OK..... I am giving this location 4 stars for 3 reasons. Kinya, Michael and the frozen lemonades. I have visited this location about 10 times in the past month specifically for the frozen lemonades. They are delicious. I prefer the grape flavor and I love that they put a lemon wedge inside the cup. As stated by many people the customer service is typically terrible and I don't frequent this location often anymore. However, over this past month that I have been coming I have been given top notch service by Michael who takes my orders and doesn't get them WRONG or tell me to "hold on mid order." Not only is he accurate but he is very friendly. I am very happy when I pull up to the speaker box and he is the one taking my order. As for Kinya, she has always been the one to bring out my drinks while in the drive thru line. She too knows what it is she is bringing out to me and she is a very sweet girl. Lately, it had been well over 100 degrees outside and this girl doesn't let that affect her in a negative way. This location seems to have a large turnover of employees but if you use these two as an example of how customer service is supposed to be, the reviews of this place would most likely change for the better. So hubby and I treat ourselves to a mini blast each.Normally made in which the candy or treat is incorporated throughout the cup of softserve ice cream. The "B" squad working tonight shoves out the mini blasts with a little scoop of treats on the top and nothing is blended in. The whole bottom of the cup is just soft serve. Man I haven't been to one of these in YEARS! This place was packed when we came during dinner hours. We wanted something easy and fast. Something sweet. Sonics commercials have drawn us in LOL. We parked in the stalls where the workers come out and bring your food on roller skates lol. We placed our order. The worker on skates was very polite and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was surprisingly awesome! I ordered the chicken sandwich and we had burgers and hot dogs and sweets. We really enjoyed the food and service. Kids loved the place. read more

There is something completely ridiculous about this place. I can't figure out if it's poor management, the methy employees, or just the overall 'don't give a crap' attitude that's generally on display here, but I continue to be disappointed. Really, the only thing I go here for anymore is the occasional drink, and more often than not, I'm disappointed by that. Here's my two biggest complaints with the drink situation: - Happy Hour: this is NOT news, Sonic owners; EVERY Sonic has Happy Hour. If your slush machine can't keep up (which, it seems EVERY time they have Happy Hour, that's the case), then BUY ANOTHER ONE! HOW ABOUT 2 SLUSH MACHINES?! WOW! NOVEL IDEA! Seriously, it's ridiculous that within about 30 minutes of Happy Hour beginning, they stop serving slushes. That's insane. - Limeade: putting lime flavor in Sprite is NOT limeade! Is this what Sonic is doing now? Because I haven't been to another one for a little while, but I'm pretty sure that they ACTUALLY make limeade (i.e. lime juice, water, sugar) at other Sonic places.
