This is consistently the slowest sonic ever, ether is is drive thru or ordering on the app. They do not care and will not give an answer on how much longer, we awaited 40 minutes past our pick up time. Refuse to refund, in the past this location has also turned off their lights early to make people think they are closed, like 30-45 minutes early read more

Terrible. Will never go to another Sonic again, especially the Brandt Pike location. Burgers cold right out of the bag. Asked for no cheese, got cheese. I went to the Sonic drive thru on brandt pike I ordered three milkshakes 1 was a regular strawberry milkshake, 1 vanilla shake with chocolate chip cookie dough and m&ms but the shake was really soupy then I got a peanut butter Oreo cookie shake which also was soupy. If I could give zero stars I would, there were no bathrooms and the wait to get your ice cold food was 30 minutes. I don't know how that is possible but they did it. Was that food ??? Went for lunch about 12 o'clock on a Saturday with my wife. We ordered a standard burger, an American hot dog, onion rings and tater tot's. Although this is a drive-in fast food restaurant, I would expect the means to be more tasty. The hotdog add some kind of slimy relish in a bun that was soft and gooey. Don't know why they can't grill the hotdogs? The onion rings we asked about were supposedly breaded on site, and we believe they were, but these are not onion rings. This breading is disgusting! It's almost like it's breading for a corndog it's thick and sweet and nasty. With all the other options, and a request for better food, that will be our last visit. The service was GREAT! read more

I love Sonic. They have the best food and I believe they are the best. This particular location however, has been running slower recently. Over the last 2 visits, it has taken over 30 minutes to get out of the drive thru with only 3 cars in front of me. They used to be very fast but seem to be lacking since summer hit. My wife and I went to this sonic late one monday. Sonic is usually pretty good, since we aren't from this area we had never been to this particular location until now. The food came fast, but it wasn't that great. My wife and I got the same sandwich, hers was very dry and mine was dripping with sauce. I mostly go to this SONIC for the happy hour drinks, but have bought both food and desserts too. I have visited this particular SONIC about 15 times. Overall, they do a good job. I love Sonic. This particular Sonic should be shut down. Waited FOREVER for the food to come out and we were the ONLY people there at 2:00 on a Sunday. Food was cold when it came out and I am pretty sure someone sat on my cheeseburger after they loaded it so full of ketchup, mustard and mayo just to see how much sauce would ooze out of the wrapper. Horrible. Fries were cold. Hot fudge shake probably had one squirt of chocolate. Chicken wrap looked disgusting. I love Sonic. I just have to get that out of the way. However, I have had several experiences with local Sonics lately that have just left ... well, NO taste in my mouth at all. Last week, I went to the Sonic in Huber Heights, which is, incidentally, very convenient to the highway. My husband and I pulled in, decided on our meals, and pushed the red button. And waited. And waited. And waited. The red button was flashing. I pushed it again, just in case. NOTHING. TWELVE minutes later we were still waiting on someone at this "fast" food restaurant to take our order. I understand that sometimes things happen in the kitchen. But a "Be Right With You" goes a long way. I will not even attempt to eat at this Sonic again. read more

Ordered four items, Waited 20 minutes and a confused woman came out explaining to us that she had an order but wasn't sure who's it was. She read it to us and it contained one of the things we ordered but not the rest so we said it wasn't ours. Another few minutes pass and she returns to reveal that for whatever reason she only read a portion of the order initially and that it was in fact ours. She then told us she'd "be right out" with our food. She returned 20 minutes later with MOST of our food and we had to tell her we were missing an item. She acted indignant as if we were lying to her, after THEY had been confused and wasted so much of our time. She returned about 5 minutes later with THE WRONG SANDWICH. we were too fed up to even say anything. Perhaps the worst service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. Almost an hour spent wating for "fast" food. I don't even like leaving reviews, especially negative ones. But I had to share my pain with SOMEONE. read more

Wow, I normally love Sonic but I should have read the reviews before pulling in to this one in Dayton, Oh. Very slow & once food delivered it must have been sitting for a long time as bun was hard! Then I looked & my burger had nothing that I asked for on it!! Pushed button for service & 5 minutes later someone answered, so told them the sandwich was wrong & recited what I originally requested. Was told the sandwich would be right out .... 5 more minutes passed & I drove off. I gave one star because the soda was good guess I'll be leery of stopping at Sonics from now on! I love sonic! But the sonic in Huber Heights is not my cup of tea. I ordered the new blue burst( 3 of them) and a few food items and Instead of telling me that they're out of the burst that they put in slushy's they had me pull up to the window and give me a blueberry slushy with nerds added to it. After I asked about it and they told me that they were out of it after I had already paid, I drove off and my wheels squeaked because I drive a manual and it was raining. I called the manager, Now mind you I do not like nerds, and the manager said he heard me order three blueberry slushy's with nerds. The manager did not care, and I've worked in a restaurant for four years and the way he talked to me was so disrespectful. He didn't care, and I asked him to play back my order from the intercom. He said he couldn't do it because I wasn't in the drive-through, when that's where I ordered. And he kept mentioning how I drove away. The thing that I am upset about is I ordered something they didn't tell me they were out of it and they said I ordered some thing that I never ordered! On the way home to Nebraska from Maine, made a stop here because we love Sonic and this was the first one we'd seen in two weeks! We ordered a soda and a limeade, with modifications, and they came out quickly and as ordered (easy ice, extra limes). Great experience! read more
