Driving through Keene Tx on my way to Cleburne, I stopped at their Sonic Drive Thru. A grilled cheese sandwich ... doesn't that sound good !! Hot melting cheese on 2 crispy toasted pieces of bread. The business was busy but Im in no rush. Their building area was clean and seemed to be kept up. Sadie was friendly and sweet. Got my order out quickly. I wasn't very impressed with grilled cheese and received water instead of sprite. Hopefully next time I'm i the area and need a snack or drink I'll give them another chance. We stop in here from time to time, and we've never had an issue, so far anyway. Our stops are usually during happy hours, lemonade with cranberry, easy ice, and cherry limeade, easy ice. Have yet to get it wrong. Staff is friendly enough, enough to get by. Not overly inviting, tho. It's a drive up location with not seating area, so ambience is open air if your window is rolled down. They have drive up and drive through. read more

Had an early lunch here today and the young man that brought out my food was very nice BUT when he turned to walk away after giving me my order all I saw was butt crack . Come on now pull your pants up or get a damn belt to hold them up . This place is a complete JOKE. Thank God there's a park close by so that you'll have something to do while you wait. This location is notorious for closing early and always being out of product. What's the point of having a large neon sign that says "Onion Rings" but they're always out of them lol? My last visit I used the app and the lady came out to my car and told me they didn't have what I ordered and asked if I wanted something else. If there was a way to give this 0 stars, I would. Visited this Sonic for the first time today ordering 4 shakes. Went through the drive-thru only to sit there for 15 minutes before anyone even came to the drive-thru window, much less showed up with our shakes. However, after 15 minutes, a girl came to the window and rattled off a large order of burgers, fries, etc. We explained we had 4 shakes only and she just slammed the window shut. In a few seconds, we see her giving that order to the car behind us. We asked her when our shakes would be ready and she just yelled out, "They're making them". We are now 20 minutes in the drive-thru...and they are just now making our order. At that point, we drove off without our order. We plan on telling EVERYONE about our experience at this Sonic as we have NEVER had an experience like this at any other Sonic. I'm just dne! In the 6+ yrs ice lived in Keene, I've been to this location about a dozen times. I've had one great experience. Of which I did leave a stellar review on google.Tonight was the entire opposite. Spent over $40 and got cold undercooked and under portioned medium cheese tots and LG chili cheese tots, undercooked chicken slinger, cold, dried out and falling apart cheeseburger and a $7+ milkshake with a cracked cup. I actually had to go back for the shake and my tea, because they forgot to give them to me. I discovered the BS with the food when I got home. I tried to call them, but phone went straight to voicemail and it was full. So I did contact corporate. I'm pissed and fed up! This place has been messed up since it got here. They had one good manager, Gideon. I don't think he's there anymore. Which wouldn't surprise me. From all that I've read and heard from employees, the pay sucks. So I guess they just don't care enough to make the orders correctly. read more

This sonic is terrible. I don't like it. I went to buy a chicken sandwich and it was frozen in the buns. It was terrible. & my tots came smushed in the bag and it was bad. Sonic as a chain is repulsive. The food is extremely low quality and the ingredients are always questionable. This particular location always looked dead when I drove by, so much so that I thought they'd closed down. However, they are still open, but man this seems to be a really dirty place. I understand the nature of this "restaurant" chain, how things are brought to you, but finding unusual things such as hair in your food or strange hard pieces of God knows what is completely unacceptable. Every single time I go to this location the employees are extremely rude, I've actually already spoken to the manager Danielle at this location who was super nice about a visit were it took over 20 minutes to get my food which was incorrect and when I went to ask for the missing items in my order the girl on the speaker replied in the rudest tone "what do you want me to do about it" and then to pull up to the window for my missing items and see a STRAY pitbull INSIDE in the kitchen. Then as I pulled away the workers weren't able to attend to me because they were feeding this dog a grilled cheese. The manager called me personally and was super nice and respectful even offered me a gift card to try this location again being that this location is across the street from my house I did.... my mistake. About a week after I went and asked for a small vanilla ice cream but asked if I could have it in a drink cup so my 5 year old wouldn't make a mess. I was very rudely told no and when asked why not the reply was "there's no way to ring it up that way" even though I have done this at many sonic locations including other chain restaurants I gave her the benefit of the doubt and asked "can I just have a small ice cream cone and a small drink cup and I'll just dump it in myself?" She then replied "no I won't do that" This location seriously has no motivation for customer service or quality which is sad because they have a very nice manager but the employees at this location are awful. Take the extra time to go to a different sonic location or a different fast food chain. Going to this location will just piss you off and ruin your day. read more

I usually go through the drive-thru and it isn't out of the ordinary to wait over 20 minutes to get an order to for two people. On top of that, the orders are usually wrong. I repeatedly receive the grilled chicken wrap without any ranch on it. It's got to where I won't pull away until I check the wrap. read more

I have never reviewed a restaurant in all of my 63 years. I wish I had read the reviews here before I went there. After my call button was finally answered, the lady said she could not hear me, so she came out took my order, not a big deal so far, she went back put the order in and it looked correct on the screen, so I paid with a credit card.....my mistake.. 30 min later I pressed the button again to see where my order was, basically what I got was a hateful attitude telling me she had orders ahead of me, and my order was on the way........15 min later no order, 3 cars have come and gone,......there were people standing at the door trying to find out where their order was.........so after 45 min ......and no order I gave up, they obviously needed my $14 dollars more than I did. I left, drove to the Sonic in Cleburne, gave the same order, 10 min later we drove of with our order. I will never go back to the Sonic in Keen. read more

This has got to be the WORST Sonic I've ever been to. Food is not only poorly made but the orders are always incorrect. I went to get a replacement order for a previously screwed up order & when I got home, that order wasn't correct! I wish Sonic corporate would/could revoke this location's franchise. The only thing positive I can say is some of the workers I've spoken with have been polite & friendly. But that's it, there's literally nothing else good I can say about this place. Please, please, please Sonic step in & correct this problem. Keene has so few choices when it comes to getting something to eat on the go. Myself & plenty of like minded others are willing to take our monies & spend them elsewhere. And here's some food for thought,(pun intended) when one location is bad it makes most of us not want to try any of your locations. I am sick and tired of this Sonic. I go in the afternoon when the high schoolers are working so maybe that has something to do with it, but it's just awful. The workers are the rudest I've ever encountered and they often times won't even say anything when they open the window at the drive-thru. Just hand you a bag and hold out a hand for your payment. The orders take twenty minutes minimum if you ordered any kind of food. Even an order of small fries will take twenty minutes. You can look in the window and see the employees standing around joking with each other instead of working. To top it all off the orders are almost always wrong. If you go there check the order thoroughly before driving away. Then if they fix that order check the fixed one because it'll probably be wrong too. The process might even repeat a few times. Honestly it'd save you time to go to the one in Cleburne or Alvarado, which is just sad. Definitely wouldn't give them any money though. read more
