I decided to try something different and heathy for a change, while working in Cleburne. I ordered online for a pickup at McAlister's. McAlister's has several salads to choose from, and I went with the Southwest Chicken Avocado salad. Also tried the bowl of chili. The salad was fresh and the bowl of chili was hot and good as well. The order was ready on time, and they made sure to include plastic ware, straw, napkins, and checked off every item on my receipt. I am glad they take the time to review the pickup orders before you leave. I picked up inside the restaurant and it was busy at 6:00 pm. The restaurant was very clean and the front counter staff were nice and helpful. read more

Ordered food to go and they forgot half of our order and didn't provide straws or utensils!

I'm only giving this place 3 because the employees were nice . I ordered a French dip and my friend ordered the blt and the sandwiches weee so small and the fact that it cost for 2 people 27.65. The French dip in the past was big and they would cut it in half but this time it was like only getting half of a half .I won't be back !! This location has some decent food, staff is usually friendly, it always seems to be clean and taken care of. The broccoli cheddar soup is a favorite of my wife's. I go back and forth between the King Club and the Max Spud. The sandwich is alway good. The Max Spud I always add a bowl of chili to and put some on the spud as I eat it. good stuff. read more

Worst McAlisters in the metroplex...hands down. Slowest, inefficient, and just a waste of your hard earned money. If you want to come here to sit and wait forever even though there is no line. Or, preorder your food for pickup (At the time they give you) to show up and it still not be ready for another 15 mins. Just so disappointing. Got home...I was missing food AND had someone else's food...so that's 2 of us with wrong orders. So frustrating. read more

My daughter went and picked up lunch and brought it home. Only half the order was there. I called and told them I would come back for the rest. When I got there, the manager came and spoke to me. Hate when people get in line too early before their order is ready and the restaurant doesn't have them move out of the way. Sat in line for 10 minutes waiting and potatoes were cold when we finally got our order. Every time we come here it's always something but we keep trying. Nothing has aju sauce. Potatoe has it "baked in" beef dip doesn't come with sauce.. at least this one didn't. Sandwich has a tiny amount of meat! You can get more meat from a dollar menus item anywhere else! read more

When this McAlister's Deli opened in Cleburne, it was packed, and the normal startup bugs were evident. The managers were on top of it and worked thru all the issues. The current issue is the cooks are not reading the tickets correctly. I have ordered the Garden Salad with a scoop of Chicken Salad the last 3 times there, what I received was a Garden Salad with a few chicken slices on top. C'mon man, take some pride in what you prepare for your customers. read more

I've been to a few McAlister's, and the Cleburne location is by far my favorite! Every time I go to this McAlister's the staff is super friendly and happy. We frequent here because I can't get enough of their jalapeño crunch sandwich. I've only had one error in the dozen or so visits, and when it happened, they happily corrected it and were apologetic about the inconvenience. I doubt I'll ever get tired of this place and I really hope they hang around! There are several places that have closed because of covid and I just really hope they aren't affected in that way. If I just had to pick a complaint, it'd be that they add too much ice in their drinks. I usually try and let them know beforehand, and it's no big deal. read more

Great service and fresh and delicious food! My husband is vegetarian so we were glad to find this place while visiting from Dallas the Dinosaur Valley State Park. They had some good solid vegetarian options (besides just your usual salads). He had the veggie sandwich which was yummy with multicolor cooked peppers. Since he is vegan he replaced the mayo with olive oil vinaigrette. And I got their garden fresh turkey and potato soup, so good! Didn't know they are a chain in DFW so will make them a regular go to place once we head back! read more

I ordered online, meal was to be done within 30 minutes or so...cool no big deal. Get there a few minutes early was told my order wasn't ready, again no big deal. They tell me they're waiting on a SALAD. Fifteen minutes go. Y, someone checks on my order AGAIN I'm told "just waiting on your half salad"... I placed my order roughly 30 min prior. WHY does it take 45 minutes to make a salad??? Got home go to get my kids meals, overpriced uncrustable, fruit cup, and a cookie. all that was there was the over priced uncrustable. of course the drink were right. So I paid around ten bucks for a 2 defrosted half PBJ sandwiches and 2 juice boxes. Then I called because while I'm generally not a Karen I'm *pissed*. I called to speak with a manager, not to get money back but so they are aware they need to tighten their ship and not just be chilling in the dining room chatting with other management. If y'all need to go over business take it to your office, it looks unprofessional and like neither of you give a rats behind about what's happening in your store. When I expressed my frustration she was professional and of course gave the whole empty "I'm so sorry" smoke up the butt line that she gets paid to do. Then I said that had someone just told me it would be a minute on my salads, that a whole new fresh batch had to be made I wouldn't have been *pissed* that's when I was told she wouldn't help me if I continued to cuss at her. I don't personally feel saying I was pissed was cussing her but if thats how she felt, I get it. That was my secon and LAST time to that location. Front staff is very sweet obviously kitchen staff is lacking as the first time I went it took 30-45 minutes to get a half salad and a sandwich as well. Both time management was just sitting in the dining area doing computer work not minding patrons or staff. The food is typical McAlister's, the front staff is awesome but waiting 45 min for your food when there's only a couple of people in the store is ridiculous. Management could be more involved with their employees and customers or be unseen if they're not. read more

The food is good when you can get it. There's been something wrong with our order the last few times. Once it was no sides with our sandwiches. Another time my husband got the Chipotle chicken giant spud, except it was on a mini spud. My sandwich was supposed to be no tomatoes, no onions. That last one was a minor detail and I solved it by removing them. Service used to be very good! Today was the final straw that brought me here. I always order on the app. I ordered for a co-worker and I in plenty of time for her to drive to Cleburne to pick it up. The order was to be ready at 1:45. When my co-worker arrived she was told they were out of the 9 grain bread, so what would I like my sandwich on? I opted for the wheat wrap. Very upset that she would now have to wait. I'm cool with them not having the bread, that's not the problem. If they can text and email me that my order has been received, they could also notify of a shortage. Did have a little unpleasant occurrence at this restaurant. But the owner reached out to me and she is so professional and humble, you don't find that often in business owners especially. Outstanding. We ordered through door dash and got the order in a timely manner. The sandwiches were really good. So was the soup. This town has needed a good sandwich shope for some time. Loved my visit to McAlister's! been going occasionally when I get enough money to spend. Recently I was helped by a really sweet worker who suggested the Savannah Chopped Salad when I wanted to try something new. Jillian i believe was her name. But all around great staff and great service. The restaurant was also kept to high standards of cleanliness. I will definitely be ordering the savannah again! read more
