In the last week, I have been there twice and both times while going through the drive thru, an employee has said that they are not making food and cannot take orders. The second time it happened, they did say right after that they could now take orders. I placed my order, and when I went to the window, I asked why they weren't taking orders and they said they were backlogged. I'm not sure how the business is ran at this location, but it is not acceptable to tell customers you cannot make food because the employees are feeling a little overwhelmed or incompetent. Big order. Left out large fries (only fries ordered). 2 Wacky pac was supposed to be lemonade, but not. So frustrating! Ordered through app & gave a nice tip. I had a terrible experience here, never again do I wanna come back. This girl was so rude to me when I was ordering and then she doesn't give us the receipt after asking then she also burnt the hell out of the chili cheese dog I ordered as well. I go to this sonic nearly everyday for ice. There have been several time where someone named Makayla has been nothing short of flat out rude. I asked her name one time and she was conformational about me asking her name. She said "here's your ice, and why did you want to know my name" had she been more polite and friendly through the intercom I wouldn't have ever needed to know her name. With all that being said by said, there's a young man named Chase that goes above and beyond to make sure that my ice is fresh every single time! I know it's crazy but with the amount of ice I eat daily, it matters if the ice has melted and been refrozen. He is a very sweet kid and he deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond for customers. Makayla was rude and clearly hates her job! Don't be like Makayla. Tried this location for breakfast items. Usually go to the Georgetown location which is consistently good. Ordered online when we got there. No other cars. Ugh oh Scooby..... but the order went thru so presumably open. Waited at least 15 minutes for 4 items plus coffee. Person who delivered the food scolded us and said if we come there before 11 it's drive thru only - our bad. No info on that in the app or posted anywhere. Need a stall number to retrieve online orders so does this mean you can't do online orders here for breakfast - translated to no online purchase perks?? Lesson learned because majority of the food was not hot, barely warm and coffee was like lukewarm dishwater. Who likes cold tater tots? Yuck! Ordered two kids meals and four cheeseburger meals on line and to go which was easy. I checked in when I arrived and they brought my order out right away. We checked everything but didn't open up each burger. However, when we got home, I noticed my bacon cheeseburger was missing the bacon, so minus one star. I waited in the drive up lane for about 20 minutes, finally the truck in front of me drove up took his order and I am left at the order device for 5 more minutes. As a tall man was taking an order to a car, I asked if the window was taking orders, he replied we are busy, you will have to wait. He gave this response with an attitude. No apologies etc etc. that would have been helpful. I see now why they have a one star rating. You are not the only food place in Liberty Hill anymore. App never works for this location. Somehow someway they aren't able to take orders thru the app just here in liberty hill. So you have to pay full price for drinks. Asked that since the app didn't work could they still at least honor the half price drink prices... I think they are still trying to wrap their head around that question to this very day. My husband and I I ordered diet cokes. As we got near the bottom of the drink it was gritty. Looked like sand at the bottom. Not sure if it was on the ice.
