The employees are so nice here and that's always the first thing that I rate a place on! Service is definitely the most important part of any experience. This is the fastest Dairy Queen I've ever been to. You're not in line for very long and the food is always hot. Went through the drive through to try the churro dipped cone that was advertised online at this location but they didn't actually have it. The lady on the other end was rude and put out by having to do her job. I couldn't hear something she said because people in the background were laughing and yelling which distorted what she said through the speaker. I said "I'm sorry?", and she decided to slowly repeat herself emphasizing her annoyance. I ended up getting a plain dipped cone which was half the size it usually is. We don't typically eat fast food, but I figured ice cream between school and gymnastics was a nice treat for my kid. Her blizzard was gross and she didn't even eat a quarter of it. It's not a 5 Star burger but it was a good burger as were the fries. Mrs. Texas and I both enjoyed the meal which I got it to go so we could dine at home. The dining room was clean and the staff was friendly. They were out of onion rings despite me paying for them but they gave me a large fry in its place. The menu on line via Yelp and the store menu are different. Only one complaint. I wish the bacon was crispy fried. Despite it being only a good burger with non crispy bacon there is nothing to truly deduct stars for therefore 5 Stars. read more

While the service was very nice, the tables were clean the atmosphere of screaming kids was very frustrating as no one told them to quiet down. Parking was fine and prices were fair. The chocolate covering for the dipped cone was a bit thinner than at other locations but it wasn't too bad. read more

I waited in line for 30 mins for 2 kids meals and ice cream. As I got to the window, the staff did not acknowledge me. Did not give me the ice cream cones didn't even give me our drinks. One was on the phone others were standing around doing nothing or talking with each other why they had a line of people. She asked if I got the kids meals with one cone I said yes with 2 cones I got two cones and she literally just gave us the two cones only and didn't give us our food then for our inconvenience she gave us two large cones, which is too much ice cream for me as well as the other person I was ordering that's why we asked for two mediums. First off, I'm close to someone there. We went a few weeks after the grand opening. The young one with us was excited to see a big DQ ice cream cone greet us! It's a brand new building and everything's pretty clean. (The women's restroom door has a metal footpull at the bottom so you can open the door without having to touch the handle!) We were warmly welcomed. Shortly after we paid, the order came out. I had the three taco basket and it was crispy with plenty of fillings. Corn dogs and fries were fine. If I could negative stars I would. One of the managers (Sierra) is racist and treats her underage employees with no respect or dignity and even lies to their parents. She referred to a group of 4 boys, 3 of which are African American, as a gang while they were standing and waiting for their food. Three of these boys work at this location and were told they are less important than other customers because they work there. The 4th boy who does not work there stated such and he was told by Sierra thats he is guilty by association. All three were off the clock and all paying customers. They had to go into the store because one item was made wrong and an item was missing and they asked for it to be fixed. She responded with attitude that she would fix it "if it was that big of a deal." She then proceeded to angrily grab the item off the countertop, throw it away and storm into the back. This was after she made them let other customers who got in line behind them go in front of them. This is not the first run in with this manager. I have even approached her as a concerned parent to be met with rudeness, unprofessionalism and the same attitude that she gives her employees. Due to that conversation my son has been targeted and during this last encounter she even stated "you can go ahead and tell your mom." This is absolutely unacceptable behavior and does not give the city of Liberty Hill a good atmosphere for anyone who wants ice cream or a burger. I would warn anyone before letting their child works here that it will not be a worthwhile experience nor a good learning opportunity. This is NOT the example I want set for my child at his first job nor should it be how any employee is treated. read more

I ordered online and picked up in store. I was a few minutes early but my order hadn't even been submitted. I waited for about 10 min for my food and once received a cheeseburger from the kids meal was missing, a sauce for my other kids meal was missing and one sandwich was missing an added ingredient. While the cheeseburger was being made the cook yelled over the counter did it have cheese and I said yes and no pickles... it had pickles! Won't be coming back to this location. read more

We come here quite a bit because my daughter loves their ice cream, naturally. Every-time we come the ice cream is always melted and I always want to give it another chance but now I'm just giving up. We waited in line today for at least 30 minutes for just 2 mini blizzards because my daughter had to have it, again, both severely melted, could practically drink them. I tell the girl at the window before she hands them to us because she doesn't dare flip them over. She tells me they are melted "because of the chocolate in them". Living in the Liberty Hill community, I like to support local businesses, however, it is difficult to support a business who serves subpar food. We have purchased hamburger meals from Dairy Queen on three separate occasions, and the buns were iced cold. It's like they took them out of a frig, didn't grill them, didn't heat them--just placed them on the meat. The third time this happened, we just threw the burgers in the trash. For the most part, I do like this location. The staff is very friendly and professional. The reason why I did not give it 5 stars, is because one time that I had gotten the steak sandwich, most of it was so hard that I could not eat it and threw it away. Another time I had ordered the chicken finger basket and this time they were so small, you would think they would have put more in it to make up for it, but they didn't. All the other times the size has been fine. Now on the crispy chicken salad (have ordered a ton of times), sometimes it doesn't have hardly any chicken on it. That is frustrating when you pay that much for a salad. Other than that, the salad is great! I just wish they were consistent with how much chicken they put on it. :) read more

For a grand opening, they sure knocked it out of the park! I think all of Liberty Hill showed up to show support and it was definitely worth it. We came around 8:45 and it was still packed. We walked in and they immediately took our order and by the time I had finished paying, I turned around and two employees were already waiting with our order. It was made right (picky husband) and it was definitely hot and fresh and the ice cream was perfect! The super kind employee Emma even gave us a small bit of ice cream for free for our little one since he wouldn't eat much anyway. The atmosphere was clean, friendly, and wonderful. Service was amazing. Very friendly staff. Such a beautiful store. Having worked fast food, in down times you should clean. This store is brand new, but was very dirty. There was poop smeared in the bathroom floors in the women's bathroom even tho there was a wet floors post up. Tables were sticky & the front door glass was all nasty.
